I love this park. It has a cute little dog park, lots of fruit trees and avocado trees and the people here are so nice. I love the spa, its pretty big,and it has great jets for my back! Nancy the owner, is the nicest, friendliest, most hospitable RV park owner that I have ever been lucky enough to encounter. She goes out of her way to make a nice stay for everyone. We just love her. And we come every year. Thank you for all your hard work Nancy! We love you

Been living here for several months and I really enjoy it. I work at spacex so living here is very convenient for me. Everyone is super nice and the 24hr amenities are ideal for my night shift life. Would definitely recommend living here.

Excellent park! LOVE THE OWNERS! Nancy and Kevin and their kids.....supernice family. Very welcoming and great hospitality! Ivebeen coming here for many years and I love both of their parks, breeze lake and sunset. Sunset has a nice little doggie park and a great spa and pool. Its close by everything you could need. The park is beautiful and has banana trees. Grapefruit, avocado lime, lemon oranges!!! Its truly a tropical paradise...I love it and will return every year. Oh, and extremely reasonable rates. You get a lot for your money and really friendly people here.

We are just returning home from spending the month of February at Sunset Palms RV Park. We were a bit skeptical about the location, but wanted warm weather, because St.Louis can be cold and dreary. We were so happy with our stay! Everyone is SO friendly, the park is gated, the heated pool was wonderful, the hot tub great, and there are a million activities. We have already booked our stay for next year. Mel and Mike were the managers, and promptly address any issues immediately. (We had a beautiful banana tree right next to our camper)!

What a gem of a find! When my check engine light went on 17 miles out on a Sunday morning, I knew I needed to find a safe place to hunker down until I could get mechanical advice Monday. Sunset Palms (aka Pauls in a prior life) was 2 miles from where I stopped to regroup, and I am SO HAPPY I found it. Friendly, chill, and humorous residents - and puppers!, Melody the Sunday manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating, quiet, nicely landscaped, a HUGE amount of activities and social events for those looking for some camaraderie. I would never have found this place if it wasnt for serendipity. But now that I have, I plan on making it a go-to when I am in deep edge-of-Texas next time. Thank you ALL for being so warm and welcoming!

Today is our first day here and we already feel at home. People are so friendly and helpful. We even had the welcome crew here already. My husband is an over the road trucker and he is gone a great deal. I feel perfectly safe here and know if I need any help someone will be right here...I really look forward to a long stay here

What a great find! 55+ RV and mobile home park in the Rio Grande Valley. Friendly people, great rates, lots of weekly activities, heated pool and spa, clubhouse, shuffleboard, pool.

Sunset Palms is a top notch over 55 RV park in Brownsville. There is a nice mixture of year-round residents, seasonal (most seem to return year after year), and short-term RVers. There is a strong sense of community with myriad activities to keep people engaged and busy if they desire.The location is super convenient to shopping, restaurants, and service providers. We enjoyed walking or riding bicycles to enjoy numerous local eateries and bakeries. The only negative about the location is that it is less than one mile from the airport and it is in the flight path for most flights going in and out of Brownsville. The good news is that there are not many daily flights.The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The grounds are immaculate. Nice landscaping helps to provides shade and a breeze. Birds are plentiful and they provide wonderful sounds to enjoy while reading your favorite book.Most important, guest services are exceptional. From the moment you arrive until departure the staff is always available to answer questions, accept packages, resolve maintenance issues, or just engage in a bit of friendly conversation.In our opinion, the seasonal managers are the reason Sunset Palms is top-notch. They work unbelievably long hours to make certain every guest need is addressed, that the facilities are spic-n-span, and that activities are well executed.Our only suggestion is to add garbage and recycling pick-up service. Currently, there is one dumpster and one recycling bin behind the office. It would be awesome if a golf cart pulling a trailer picked up trash and recycling from each site on a daily basis.As full-time RVers, we enjoyed coming off the road for three months. Brownsville is a great border city. The culture, the cuisine, and the people are awesome. During our short stay, we met several incredible people who call Brownsville home. People who quickly became friends. People who own local businesses and provide great services and products at reasonable prices combined with attentive service. Friendly people seem to be at the core of Brownsville.Will we return to Brownsville and Sunset Palms? YES.

Great place to stay..gated community and they always have fun stuff to do ..Nice pool for swimming..they have these exotic trees and they label them..I would pick a fresh grapefruit every morning..they also have pancakes in the am..Love this place

Its our first time hereand the people in the park are so friendly. Its like you have known them all your life! Great place to feel really at home but with warrmer weather!

The monthly price is ok, not the best. This park has some good amenities for their guests (pool table room, shuffle board, swimming pool, laundry room, small dog park) but downside is neighbors are within 3 feet of your camper, if that. its crowded in the park
