This is a nice spot to rest or picnic when youve been driving for a long time. The scenery is beautiful!

Love this place. I call it Dons place. I will always remember meeting an old friend there. He has since passed away so we stop every time we pass through the area to pay our respects and to bask in the beauty.

Nice little place to stop and have a meal and relax for a bit. Very clean and well maintained. Nice little place. One thing to note, there are no bathrooms at this location, other than that perfect!!

Pretty place to stop and have a picnic. No bathrooms or covered areas, but its shaded some by the trees. Tables available. Was clean, empty, and our kids and dogs enjoyed walking around.

Me and my family went there looking for something to do. I found that there is a very beautiful scenery that people are missing out on.

Are their any bathrooms out there to use? Im going for the first time out there. The pictures of the place look nice.I just went out there for the first time and it is a roadside park. Just a small roadside stop for a bit. But its a nice little park to stretch your legs.

Charming little park! We’ve stopped here for years on trips from Houston to Austin and beyond. Nice little brook to explore. Sometimes you can see small fish and crawdads scurrying about. Bring a picnic and enjoy the view from one of the tables under the oak trees.

A nice place to RV camp overnight. No tents or structures allowed. The babbling brook and wild flowers are a nice treat although the highway noise from 290 is persistent.

I drove 71 miles from Conroe just to come here, and Im sure glad I did. Im really into certain types of terrain I can drive my radio control rock crawler on, and this place is perfect. Quite a little oasis of beauty right off 290. There isnt much in the way of amenities, but I had a very specific purpose for coming here. 5/5 will visit again soon

A small little Oasis. Has nothing there except a couple of trash cans and the outdoors. It is always a shady spot for me and my motorcycle when traveling by. I love it.

There arent many of these left. Pretty location with some nice shade trees. Good safe place to pull over and take a quick nap if needed.

I was tired and driving from Galveston to Austin. I saw it out of the corner of my eye, it said public park. So I whipped around and sure am glad I did. Its beautiful and so peaceful even with the highway 50ft away. 4 picnic tables and a well maintained trash can. The water was low, but I bet when the water is up, I bet its a good place to dip in.. Ill be back. .. with a picknik basket next trip I make...

Beautiful little snippet of nature. Gorgeous trees, chuckling stream, small fish playing in the water. Anyone who wants a 5 min break of back to nature should check this out.
