I love the Somerville Marina area. You can rent canoes for $15 a hour and they have a variety of items in the store. The staff is always wonderful and seem to remember me now!

Staff at the marina were very patient and helpful. We are new to fishing but our kids wanted to try and the marina staff helped with everything. We caught 6 or 7 fish (all to be released) in about 2 hours late morning.

Lake Somerville is nice. First time fishing there. Didnt catch anything. Hopefully next time.

I love it, that you have to pay to launch your boat it keeps the riff raft out dont have to worry about your vehicle while boating or fishing as much.

This place is great, Ive been coming here for a long time. They Could use another boat ramp, and a little love and care on the cabins.

The park was great, and the sunset was awesome. If you stay the day, and do not bring a camper. Make sure you bring your own toilet. Because theyre bath houses are wasp invested and nasty. Nowhere to use a restroom unless you have your own.

Pretty good place to fish at the marina or anywhere around the area.

Nice clean family-oriented place to enjoy the lake. unfortunately water levels do dictate how much of the park hell be able to use. That did not stop my teenage children from having a great time and offering my wife and I a relaxing afternoon. Only a few dollars to enter and will worth it.

This is a nice campground right on the lake. They have nice bathrooms and a playground for the kids. There is a marina where you can get your basic camping gear and lots of fishing gear.They have some nice cabins for rent if tents are not your thing and you do not have a camper.The hill down to the marina is steep. Just a warning. But the folks down there are very nice and helpful.

Boats all parked in swimming area. No map was given, first time going there. $20 for day pass with no designated parking and directions of what is where.

The place is very well keep and clean. The marina has just about anything you would need for a trip to the lake. And the people that work there are very nice and friendly.

Overlook park is a fantastic place to hangout with family or quick getaway. Beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Popular boating place. Our 4 yearold twins loved it. They caught 12 fish, my husband caught 4 and I caught 1. We love outdoor sports and adventure. They have several different places to stay.. cabins, tent sites, RV sites, and basic mosquito/ bug stand alone. We had 2 cabins with such a large group and had plenty of space for 7 adults and 5 kids. Our 1 and only request would be to upgrade the well water filtration system. The cabin we stayed in, the smell of the shower and sinks were overwhelming. We ended up using our friends cabin because it only had a faint smell. I have been around well water all my life and havent smelled bad water like that in a long time.

Nice park to enjoy Lake Summerville. Cabins and cabanas available to rent and they have RV hookups and campsites. Marina has everything you need to start fishing.

Me and my family went this pass weekend and didnt have a good experience with the people at the office they lied to my husband about the prices and couldnt get their story right just made it feel awful and unpleasant. but the experience with my family was amazing the time there was fun set aside from the office experience was fun.but I wouldnt go back again thats how bad the office experience was Im really sad about the office experience

Great place and reasonable price

Even with the water being high did not stop us from enjoying the day there. Did make it a little harder to swim with obstacles and drop offs

Nice and peaceful. Very scenic! Love the water and the fishing and its very family-oriented lots of family people take their kids there! I cant wait to go back again!

The shore line has eroded where some of the picnic tables are but, Its a nice place to go fishing and enjoy nature.

Very nice place for family gathering and fishing but small dogs beware of the alligator garfish they will come to the bank for you.. Easter Sunday two got after my nieces 6month old Shep/Pit mix while she was standing just along the bank but feet in the water..My niece was fishing happened to turn around check on her pup seen the gar coming..So watch your pups other than that its a beautiful place and we enjoyed it

Nice lakefront. Weathrr was not great but will visit again in warmer months. Looks like a great place dor a picnic and water sports.

Lovely place.

My first trip to Lake Summerville was so much fun. From catching a couple of fish with my awesome man and baby to the very cool floating marina. I had a blast adventuring and enjoying this park. Plus the bathrooms were fairly clean with no giant spiders in sight.

Somerville Lake us very shallow.

If you are looking for a laid-back park with a marina than this place is perfect.

It was a great day at the lake.with all our recent flooding the park has lost a lot of trees. On the plus side the water is up.

This place was great! Planning another trip already! Tons of stuff to do! Theres tons of campsites but most arent very big. There could be more parking by the park and more tables/benches around it, but still fun for the kiddos!

Awesome park. Has a double boat launch and lots of campsites. Even has a marina you can pull your boat up to, they sell ice, beer, live bait and lots of other neat stuff. I actually proposed to my wife here on the beach!

Everyone is friendly and helpful live minnows are 3$ for a dozen 5$ to fish at marina

I know that lake sommerville flooded and the park has been underwater but when they charge you $20 for a day pass and cant tell you a good place to hang out for the day its a little frustrating, I know everything is still flooded and it would have been nice to know that all the sites were still underwater and there really wasnt anyplace that could be used as a beach or a safe place to play.

Such a great place for camping out and fishing! Reasonably priced rentals, tent camping, rv hook ups, boat dock, marina, beach like areas on the lake. Its everything a great way to spend a weekend! Or a week!
