Omg. No words! I was in awe the whole time there. The audio tour is great...not boring, but fascinating! Id love to go to a service. The alter and the dome around it is stunning and so much history! Its beautiful on the outside at night, a must see and photo opportunity. The stained glass of Jesus at the front of the church is a must see. It tranquilized me. I prayed for a bit. So moving.

I walked by this church so many times before going in and realizing what great historical value it has (starting with the foundation). I was really impressed with all the details on the inside and how much more colorful it was than I was expecting it to be. It is cheap admission and well kept, so I would recommend it as a quick trip to anyone that is in the area and has not seen it yet.

The church was astounding! Built in 1733 and still active with 4 services every Sunday. I rated it 4 stars because it was $10 for a self guided tour and we were only allowed in the sanctuary. The architecture was amazing!

We went here for Christmas Eve service and really enjoyed it. There were predictions of long lines to get in but we only waited about 10 minutes. The church is lovely; quaint and historic. We sang old-school hymns from the hymnal and the priests message was spot-on. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

One of the best architecture for a church. The church gets lit in the evening. The architecture looks very ancient yet astonishingly beautiful. Best time to visit the church is before sunset. Although we did not get a chance to see the inside, I can only imagine how good could it be.

Visited the church for a evening prayer service sung by childrens choristers. Besides the immaculate singing, the atmosphere was welcoming and reverent. I could not have asked for a better venue to take a much needed soul refresher. My thanks to the Trinity community for the welcome atmosphere and for putting on a great service!

I totally did not expect what I saw here! We spontaneously decided to enter the church while having a walk in the area. With the very first steps inside we were amazed. The interior feels so warm, welcoming and beautiful. All very unique in contrast to many other churches that I saw in Europe and both Americas. Moreover, the audio gudie in very informative. You can learn about the history of Richardsonian Romanesque style and how Brooks wanted La Farge to inspire his preaching.

Trinity Church is a Episcopal church and national landmark that makes for a very interesting place to see at Copley Square. Opening Hours for touring are 9-4.45pm (Monday - Saturday) and 11.15-5.45pm (Sundays).Founded in 1733, what makes Trinity Church most impressive is the unique, Richardson Romanesque architectural style, which first made its mark with the construction of this church building (1872-1877).The exterior of Trinity Church has a whimsical architecture quality to it, making use of rough stone, heavy arches, religious figures and a polychromy colour coordination. There are Romanesque, Victorian, Gothic and perhaps even fairytale like characteristics that make for a visually unique viewing of this church. The architecture is peculiar if nothing else. The interior of the church is also impressive featuring beautiful glass stained windows, delicate wood carving pulpit and seating areas, attractive wall murals and gold gilded wall space behind the alter. Unfortunately, we found the lighting to be quite dim within the church, which makes it somewhat difficult to shoot with your camera. It was still very nice to see the interior of Trinity Church, even with the high entry fee.In the end, not sure we would pay again to go into Trinity Church but we would certainly stop by Copley Square again to enjoy the interesting exterior appearance of the building. It is worth a look-see from the outside if you plan to be near Copley Square during your visit to Boston. Those who enjoy church visits will probably want to include this on your sightseeing schedule.

This church is a cultural wonder. Literally every gorgeous object, surface or architectural detail is an intentional contemplative symbol. John La Farge Windows. Check schedule for Friday organ recitals.

Trinity Church was amazing, I would recommend to almost anyone to pay the 10$ fee to visit the church. For that price you get the audio guide which provide information on the church history. We were at most 10 persons in, which made it very quiet and enjoyable. If youre lucky, you might even catch the organist practicing.I would not recommend it to families, because children might get bored easily.

Good architecture. Needs a ticket to visit the church. You can get an audio guide which will walk you through different parts and history of the church. The $10 entry fees seems high though. If you are not interested in hearing the audio guide, you can see the church in 10 min

Its a really old church. Very beautiful. The experience for me was kind of lackluster because of the numerous your groups all around. It really kills the lived in, actual historically importance of everything with some old couple on vacation existing next me. If a bunch of tourist werent around it would be better.

Trinity Church is in the heart of Copley square. If youre in Copley you cant miss it. Its a big neo-gothic church with a beautiful exterior and interior. The sanctuary charges $6 to visit and they do offer tours throughout the day. However, if youre local and are going in to pray or meditate they let you in free of charge. Dont abuse this please, but its good to know.If youre visiting the area and need some tranquility in spiritual environs its well worth the visit.

Its $10 dollars per person to see an old and dusty church. Save your money. Ive seen neighborhood churches with nicer architecture. They will lecture you about how important it is that they charge in order to maintain the building, but in reality they run it like a well-oiled business with security and overpriced souvenirs.Just go to the Boston Public Library instead. Its gorgeous and free and no guilt-tripping.
