Park Street Church offers a holy sanctuary and many ways to listen, celebrate and learn so much about Faith, Scripture and love for God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Join fellow Christians and others to give Praise together!! ~ John H
Well I understand Park Street church has a website for people looking for places to live or roommatesI suppose with all this going on theyre too busy right now.
Beautiful historic church. Wonderful message friendly people. I highly recommend this church if youre in the Boston area. Christ centered and loving.
The Park Street Church located in Park Street at the heart of Boston is a historical place with about two centuries of existence. It is welcoming and have programs that emphasize the bible and the core principles on which the church believes. It is a place for fellowship in a bustling city. Many of the church programs are community oriented and aimed at Inclusiveness. Peoples of different nationalities attend the church. The church building is of fine architectural design.
One of the attractions included on the Freedom Trail in Boston is the historic Park Street Church located on the corner of Park and Tremont, wedged in between Boston Common and the Old Granary Burial Ground.Established in 1809, Park Street Church is noted as having been a brimstone storehouse during the War of 1812 and being the venue where Samuel Francis Smiths My Country Tis a Thee song was first sung. Sadly, the church was closed both times we passed by so we were only able to view the historic building from the outside.Designed by Peter Banner, the most memorable thing about the church exterior for us was seeing the 217-foot steeple. Apparently, the steeple made Park Street Church the tallest landmark in America from 1810 to 1846. Considering the size of so many skyscrapers and tall buildings across the country today, it is interesting to think that this was the tallest building in the country during its early years. If you do pass by the Park Street Church, it is definitely worth time to pop into the adjacent cemetery next door, known as the Old Granary Burial Ground. Another member of the Freedom Trail, this is where you find the burial place and monuments for the likes of Paul Revere, John Hancock, the five victims of the Boston Massacre and the parents of Benjamin Franklin.
This church is mission-centered! I go to the 11 am service regularly, and love hearing missionaries coming back to share God’s work in their field. The sermon is solid but might be harder to approach to seeker whose native language isn’t English. There are three services on Sunday: 8:30 am, 11 am and 4 pm. The morning services feature Hymn music, and the afternoon one has a contemporary band! All of the services have good music that draw the congregation to worship wholeheartedly.Considering the size of the congregation, it calls for some effort to get connected. Small groups are definitely a good way. The international fellowship gathers right after the 11 am service, and the Thursday night outreach (TNO) is a good place to learn to serve and to love. TNO starts serving at around 5 pm in the basement on Thursday. There are also other groups such as Café and community group and many classes!
Before visiting I enjoyed reading about the churchs beginnings during colonial times, but reading about the important part this church and its leaders continued to play, especially during the 20th century was amazing. The staff was friendly and very willing to answer questions. We respect and appreciate the work and message accomplished here for God.
Warm, diverse congregation. Ancients truths made relevant for today. Food for the soul
Church with a storied history that is still evangelical. Great preaching and many opportunities to get involved. Recent emphasis on building community in the church. May Gods Kingdom come!
The worship service is always nice. Can feel that the Holy Spirit is with the worship leaders. The music is good. Currently they need a pstor for their church.
This was my first visit. I enjoyed the 4pm service. Also went to small group bible study which was great. Planing on going back again.
Good divorce/separation group meets here. Can be very helpful if you are spiritual.
I have mixed feelings about this place. I saw Glod here once, but she wasnt white and didnt speak English - very confusing.
Beautiful historic building in the heart of the city. I havent been to a service but Ive done work with their homeless ministry. Its full of fantastic friendly and loving people that really develop a community that you want to be a part of.
Their Facilities and front desk team is top notch and a blessing!
I want this request to suddenly move to places like masachusett to receive my help from people with asperger like meand leave broken estuaries where I am stuck because of the terrible scourge and have my healthy life with my safe well-beingand have my freedoms!
Beautiful architecture with cubicle pray spaces which were originally owned by families for their own praying
Peaceful place with beautiful hymn sang but not quite the same as my church. But as a first time visitor, I felt comfortable here.
Two hundred year old evangelical church and sight of many famous speeches. I didn’t get to go in as it was closed at the time, but since it’s on the Freedom Trail, you might as well stop by regardless.
Awesome great place to fellowship
One of the most historic and important Churches in North America. Their ministries are real, and the Gospel is still preached there.
GREAT I LOVED IT
Sound doctrine
Nice church alot history
Always a very welcoming congregation with a great message.
Its a very nice place
When we went, we there on a Sunday and luck would have it, we were there right in the middle of a service. Because, they prefer to have little distraction during the service, they offer a live view camera on a big screen to watch and see what it looked like. Opening to the public started later but we could not stay and wait for that.
Spreads the word and works of God. 3 different services to choose from. Plus gospel music updated to 2018.
Great preaching of the gospel. Gorgeous music. Stellar choir and organ.
Great service and welcoming
I love the church great people wounderful plasters with great love
Just a beautiful church and destination along The Freedom Trail.
Historic Church in the middle of Boston. Nice place.
I want to talk to a church member
I went for the Sunday night service and everyone was very welcoming. Someone walked me around and introduced me to the pastor and serval staff members who were all very nice and easy to talk to. The message was very casual yet instructional and the music was contemporary style with modern versions of hymns thrown in. Its so great to see such a historical church that has kept its vibrancy and friendliness.
Preaches the whole counsel of God.
I have been attending the church my whole life. Everyone one is very welcoming and the sermons are amazing. I suggest coming and giving it a try and to meet some new people.
Pretty church, I enjoy.
This church is very easy to get to, it is right next to the Park St T Station at the Boston Common. The congregation is international and it range from 20 to 40. It has a very strong young adult component and everyone is friendly.
Staff was kind and polite when I asked about ESL class.
Neat church with great history
Been to it once when a family member was in town and wanted to do the freedom trail, pretty cool
Happy and welcoming people. Nice mass. Very pretty church with lots of history.
Beautiful building
Awesome worship and deep Word of the Lord
Wonderful worship service.
Very nice people!
The people I met Sunday morning were warm and welcoming. But if you go here, be ready for some fire and brimstone. Do your research and know this historical church certainly feels that way.
Such a nice welcoming church
Great place for Christians
The architecture is worth seeing.
We started the Freedom Trail in the commons so this was our first stop. The design seemed like it was straight out of a history book.
We attended an 8:30am service the day before the marathon. We were blessed by the worship and teaching.
Great church that is very involved in the Boston community and with helping the poor. Very transitional church as many members come and go due to school etc.
Strong teaching, great kids program, many peoples, central location, caring and Christ-centred.
Very welcoming church for the size, convicting teaching, and incredible ministries serving and impacting Boston.
My favorite Church in Boston. Park Street Church. Across the street from the Boston Common.

Its great!!!!
I was seriously disappointed in Park Street. I ended up leaving early because I was feeling so uncomfortable. I went to the Cafe and I was not greeted in any kind way. I felt very unwelcome.
Beautiful architecture
Very solid teachings from the Bible.
