Beautiful small park right around my familys neighborhood.
Just ricks and trees but we need that in the middle of the city. Clean, no needles.
I hope youre referring to the park that used to be Munroe Park. It has always been a beautiful, relaxing spot. There seem to be many new upgrades, with many more places to sit. It was nice to see that it is being used. A couple was playing a game, several people were walking dogs, and others were just sitting around conversing with each other and otherwise enjoying interactions with people.
Cool place to hang out.. Climbing on the rocks with the kids and exploring the area with them, priceless..
I love this place, especially during late spring to early fall. Ive preferred walking home from school often during those times due to the fact that I just want to take in the scenery and enjoy myself after a long day of social interaction.
The picture does not do this scenery justice. If you know where to go then maneuvering as a person with a disability be it physical or otherwise, it will not be hard. You must plan it out ahead of time though. One Park sort of melts into the next LOL see my review on the Boston Commons about bathroom access Etc. I can picture the horse-drawn carriages, the women with parasols and beautiful dresses taking a stroll around the pond, and all of the life that has filled the Commons in 100 years!
Dog loves to go there
Nice little park in the neighborhood pretty good swing set for kids.
A chill place to blaze
This is where my grand parents 1st met!!!
My kids and nephew loved it. Very clean and quiet, and they loved running and climbing the rock formations. There were other kids and families and didnt notice the unrulieness you see at other area parks. Our pup also had a good time, and I wasnt worried about her getting away as the park is mostly enclosed and protected from the street.
Used to be my favorite relax park. just a few benches a small table with small benches around it. in the beginning the table was was made to represent a checker board, so if you had some checkers, you could bring them (just the checkers) to the park and play checkers right there on the table. no swings or slides, just a couple of rock turtles that children, ages 2 to 5 years old could climb and play on. now it is more like adog park
Quiet place. You can walk your dog.
I used to live right next to it,22 years ago. Its amazing how much the area has tranformed.
Its quiet roughly morning hours the afternoon its just too loud as far as Im trying to take your dog its not a place to take an animal Farrs and kids No its more for the elderly
Very beautiful. Theres a lot of history here. I remember going here when I was younger because my mother had family that lived directly in front of the park and we loved going there to play.
Beautiful park, right in the middle of Roxbury
This is a nice city block park with pleasant rock outcroppings, several benches, and a nice grass area. The park is mostly walled and pretty clean, and dog friendly. Since the park is old and an entire city block, the buildings on all sides facing in are pretty and add to the aesthetic.
Lovely, quaint little park for sitting, meditation, workouts, children, picnics and of course quick dog walking.
The rock formations at this park are really cool (similar to the ones in Central Park, NYC, but slightly larger and more rugged). A very neat little park to go visit, well worth the detour if youre biking in the area.
Nice place
I grew up not far from this park and I enjoyed playing there with my sister and brothers. The great thing about this park is...the out crop of pudding stone is still there and It feels like an old friend. I love this park. Back in the day, the park was named Walnut Park.
Big park.
Very relaxing place!
Very dog friendly
I loved walking my pit bull here. The large rocks are nice to climb. This park is family friendly as well.
Good place to workout outside
Nice quiet and clean to sit and enjoy peace and quiet
Clean and pretty; lots of benches and green grass
Peace of Mind in that Park.
I grew up there
Good place to relax
Nice view
Quiet, peaceful!
I grew up on Monroe St and always played in the park as a young child. stone hours and turtle still existbtoday. its a somewhat small park that has been completely renovated. beautiful homes located all around park and massive natural rock formations (puddingstone(hance the name of the town Roxbury) throughout park. benches and tables also located in the park along with an emergency police calling box that stands out day and night with its bright blue light. this park is historical, with lots of history and host an annual Jazz festival.
Beautiful place to relax, great views.
So to be fair I did get there at 1:20 last night. But they rushed me to order rushed me to pay the service was not friendly from the waitstaff my meal came to 60 so instead of 15 like I was going to give her I gave her 7 instead for bad service and next time Ill find someplace else to eat.
