Free shows to help provide a sense of community. Also good opportunity for volunteering with Friends of Herter Park. (No bureaucratic hoops to jump through to start volunteering). Events include anything from open mic sessions to professional performances.

Interesting little hidden amphitheater. Very, very nice if the weathers ok.
