Great place to see a show. Right on the water, excellent sound and view from everywhere there is seating inside. Recommend a VIP ticket of some sort in order to access the VIP area, if for no other reason that the ability to use air conditioned bathrooms without lines. Prices for food, beer, etc. insane, but thats to be expected at an event like these. Very enjoyable time.
This was a great concert venue - the staff members were attentive and helpful, the bathrooms were shockingly clean, and the food was good too (burger was good, fries were not). Easy to find seats with guides and floor markers. Sat in section 1 row X and could see well, even from the outside. Food, drinks, alcohol, all served on site. Bag check and security was quick and painless.
Great place, great views. Staff is amazing, love this place. Hidden gem in southie, i mean seaport
Great venue for any entertainment. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The sound was great at the concert we went to. The drink prices are a little high but that is to be expected. Almost every seat in the place gives you a great view. There are TVs and tables on the outside so you dont miss anything. I am already looking for another show at this location because of how nice it was.
This is one of the best concert venues that Ive been to. Right on the Boston harbor with a cool sea breeze in July and August, lots of food and beer concessions - an open air ambiance and comfortable seating. Looks of great concerts too! Ive been to the Revolution 3 tour with Bush, Stone Temple Pilots and several other shows and the acoustics are always great. My wife hates TD Garden but loves Blue Bank Pavilion.
I got some great tickets to a concert here. I was visiting for the weekend. The location seems great down by the water, but it definitely can be a little windy and cold inside the venue. It’s easy to walk to as traffic around the area seemed minimal, a lot of Uber’s dropping off and picking up people.
Awesome atmosphere! Great setup for an outdoor spot
Solid venue. Ive always enjoyed seeing acts here despite being fully seated. I traditionally get to the heavier acts there which the venues been getting quite a few of over the last several years.Concensions are solid as well and theres plenty, I rarely have to wait in line aside from the merch booth.Venue does a great job with light shows as well. If your seeing an artist there, odds are theyre going to have a significant lighting and video performance which looks super cool at night under the covered tent.
Awesome place to see a show, right on the water, nice cool breezes during the hot summer shows. Lots of places to get a beer, cocktail, food, Been & Jerrys ice cream. Clean bathrooms, comfortable seating( as far as concert venues go) and polite friendly staff. I have been to about 5-6 shows there so far and plan on seeing many more. I took a bunch of pics so you get the just and hopefully make an informed decision.
Fun open-air venue that was great fun for a concert. The weather was perfect, but I am sure that if it was raining, the people on the edge could get wet. They sold huge beers and carafe bottles of wine. The womens bathroom was abnormally large and lacking the usual mile-long line of concert venues. Also, there is only a slight slope between rows, so if you are short, you might be out of luck for seeing the stage. There are big screens on the side where you can see the performance, but better if you can see the actual artist.
For a show venue, it’s great. The drinks were extra pricey but the amount of staff they keep working and maintaining the place clean the entire time explains why. It’s not too big, it’s right by the water, so it was a beautiful comfortable night out. Bathrooms were kept clean and lots of recycling bins all over influenced people not to litter. They’re doing a good job.
If your going, go VIP. Caught the LSD tour. Outstanding show. Great venue.
Overall a good experience at this place. Really no complaints. Obviously drinks and food isnt cheap thats expected.
I love the atmosphere and feel of this venue. The sound quality, however, leaves a little to be desired. Definitely a good venue and it is easily accessible. I caught Ben Harper there recently and had a great time.
Gorgeous! Sat at the tables just outside the tent. Sounded great and looked great. The AV was really well done. Beautiful venue on the water, go during the summer when you can!!
Gem of a venue! Breeze off the harbor keeps you cool, easy access from silver line, employees are wicked nice & great sound. We saw OAR this past weekend and it was great
It was a great show but what a venue! City in the background, waterside. Convenient parking, awesome acoustics and vibe. Good vendor selection. One of my favorite locations in the city.
Incredible outdoor venue! Been to 2 concerts here and will definitely be back for more! Smoking section provided. Dont hide in the crowd to smoke weed, use the smoking area.
We were their for our daughters graduation its was a very rainy day..but we were all covered and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Got a chance to check out a wonderful show near the end of summer. The staff here are always friendly and kind. Safety is number one here. I really like that there are ushers everywhere to help out, guide you along, and suggest good eats at the venue. Awesome spot. Prices can be a bit high, but go figure. Its Boston!
Great place to see a show on a summer night! Open air right on the seaport! Easy to get to by T, taxi, Uber, Lyft or boat!
Amazing atmosphere and loved the sea breeze!
Incredibly professional and friendly staff as well as a very clean and well-thought-out facility . I love how there is no open seating its just normal seats so everyone gets their own area to either sit up sit down and you dont have people walking over your shoes or spilling their drinks on you. If you decide to drive right into the city make sure you buy your parking pass through the ticket seller. If I can cash only cost $12 and it would have cost 35 if I did not close to the same place where I purchase my ticket. Could not be more of a beautiful place right on the water and I would see if it does rain pretty much everyone is going to stay dry youll be fine. Just an all-around very well-thought-out facility and I couldnt have been more happy how the staff was able to control the crowds properly and everything just went very smooth.
What an extraordinary venue for a concert! It is right by the ocean (romantic or reflective for you and your companions). I saw Janelle Monae there and she ROCKED the joint!!! The size is very adequate as its not stadium status but its also not a club. I bought a whole bottle of wine from the drink concession and that was way cool!
One of my favorite places to go to concerts!! Best Seats all around
Always a pkeasure coming here! Fantastic staff and extremely helpful
Good venue on the seaport. Harpoon down the street. Wish this place had a little more air movement inside, but it was still nice. Good views, all around satisfied.
Great place to see a concert! A bit louder than necessary and a bit high priced but its only rock n roll right!
I saw Dr.Dog and Shakey Graves there and it was an enjoyable show. Great lights, good sound, overpriced beers (but its a music venue in Boston so no big surprise there), friendly staff, giant screens so folks in the back van see, open air seating is definitely awesome when the weather is nice!
Love seeing shows here...especially Reggae, such as Stephen Marley. YEAH! The stellar view of the Boston Harbor as a backdrop for a concert ~ drinks and a summer night - and you cannot go wrong!
First time here for Third Eye Blind and I really enjoyed this venue! Entering was a breeze and the staff were super helpful & enthusiastic! Staff members were enjoying themselves and getting us pumped up, which was fun. Drinks were good and the lines werent too bad. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Great time by the harbor!
I saw an amazing Beck concert here last weekend and a Ray Lamontagne in June. The area is very relaxed (near the water). The sound distributes well in this done that they have and the light show lit up the stage well.
Love this venue! Covered, seats are always decent.
Great location right on the water. Friendly staff and plenty of stands so you never have to wait too long for your drinks. Stage and sound were good. Not a bad seat in the house!
I really liked this venue! You can hang out by the water during intermissions. Everything is very casual. The only thing I didnt like was how much pot smoking was going on because the whole place smelled, despite it all being open air. Otherwise, I recommend it! The parking lot behind the venue only charged $30, which was great.
Great show. Venue entrance and exit could be better
First time visiting this venue. We saw Joan Jett, Styx and Tesla. Good medium size venue, (3000?) conveniently located on the southie waterfront just out of the big dig tunnel in South Boston. Keep in mind this is Boston, and driving through this city is almost never without its big city traffic issues. That said, however, on this weekday afternoon, arriving around 4:15 pm, we had minimal traffic issues.Parked in a valet garage about a 15 minute leisurely walk away from the venue for $28. We reserved parking online the day before the show. Many garages were already full. We got lucky. Book your parking in advance. This feels like a safe, upscale and well traveled section of town for locals and tourists alike. Be aware when the clock passes midnight this garage (and many others) will charge you for another day for a total of $56 dollars!!! Plan your evening accordingly.Minor negatives: Food and drink prices at the venue seemed pretty expensive, even by big city concert event standards. Beer and food were plentiful. However, we ate and drank before entering. You were not allowed to walk down front to take pictures with your phone (no camera or video allowed) even before the show started as that was the VIP pass area. However, the staff were professional and friendly. Halfway through the second act, the people sitting right behind us started smoking some nasty smelling weed, so that kind of sucked. No seat is very far from the stage. However, they are fairly narrow, solid plastic seats and connected so that you share an armrest as you would at a typical baseball stadium. Not particularly comfortable, and worse if youre a somewhat wide person like me. Its outdoors, but covered from weather and hot sun by a big-top style tent.Big PLUS: Bathrooms were literally just a stones throw (20 feet) from the rear of the seating area. REAL bathrooms with toilets, urinals, sinks and hand dryers, NOT the portapotty type. Clean, well lighted, large, ADA compliant, and a custodian at the door to make sure it stayed clean. These are public restrooms done right! The sitelines from most seats will be good, with exceptions being far right or left of stage in the first 15-20 rows due to speakers and band gear stacked on the actual stage. What is this, 1975? All gear was finally removed before the headline act took the stage.Obviously you DONT want to be behind the sound board, ever, which was in a fenced off area dead center about 150 feet from the stage. Our seats were in the back (third) section of seating, to the rear of the board BUT just far enough left of the board to see clearly. There were some annoying cables hanging down from a spotlight platform which was suspended from the roof superstructure. Even so, once the show started, you really didnt notice the cables, especially after it got dark, and everyone stood up anyway so the people running the sound board blended right into the crowd. For us the board was not an issue. The sound quality was not adversely affected by the venue. There were no echoes, no concrete walls or rear wall for the sound to bounce off behind you. Typical of national touring bands, each had their own amps, PA, sound board and tech running it. This was evident as equipment and people in the sound area dwindled in number after each set.For the record, Tesla and Joan Jett each had excellent, clear, crisp sound. Styx, unfortunately, sounded terrible. This was mostly due to a booming kick drum and overpowering bass guitar which drowned out nearly everything else. The vocals were so loud and screachy that you couldnt really understand a word they said even when they talked between songs. The keyboard, a large part of the signature Styx sound, was barely audible. Both of us enjoyed the show and the venue gets a thumbs up for convenience, cleanliness, and being a safe environment in a safe area. We agree that we would enjoy going to future shows at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion.
Outstanding place to view some of the best performers playing the new england area. This is a open air venue under a beautiful pavilion tent. Dont worry about where sit they have two giant led screens. They also have screens all around food and vending courts. Where you can find everything from burgers to lobster rolls and beer to mixed drinks. The staff and security are very helpful to assist you with any questions. I highly recommend this place for entertaining night of great music.
We watched Crazy Rich Asians here and also got to hear talk from the director. The popcorn and seating were great and I can’t wait to come back for another show!
Great scene, out doors and covered what a great show, sound, facilities and the staff was super friendly and respectful.
This is the best venue for concerts in Boston!! The primary reason is 100% attributed to the staff that works here. They’re some of the nicest people and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. I specifically want to thank Jaci and Jamie for being incredible. Not a bad seat in this place!! You won’t be disappointed!
Plenty of choices for food and beverages inside. The sound system was acceptable, considering it is a large open tent venue.
This venue was great. The event that I attended was close to sold out, but it didnt feel cramped or crowded. Food and merch booths are clearly marked and the staff kept the lines moving quickly. The batchrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a positive experience.
We went to see Australian Pink Floyd, and the show was amazing. The venue itself was awesome as well. I loved that our parking was right next door, as well as the lines to get through security, etc. went really smooth as well. I havent been to many concerts, but this by far was one of my favorite venues to attend. The only downfall is trying to navigate Boston to get there.
Good venue. Outdoors with a tent over most of the seats. Parking available in the area, can be expensive.
Had a lot of fun seeing a concert here. We sat near the back and to the side and still had a pretty good view of the stage. The vendors for food and drinks were friendly. Of course alcohol was very expensive but at least comparable to other places like Fenway.
Cool venue for a show. Do not sit near the outer edges of the pavilion or the sound is awful.
I want to thank the usher named Frank (1411) . He made it possible for me to go up to the front of the stage last night 9/17 at the Bastille concert! It made my night. Great venue!!! Great people !!!
My favorite place in Boston to see a show, hands down. The ocean views and ocean breeze... amazing. Also a very acoustically friendly place. Beers are $12 and up, so be prepared.
First time there was to see weird Al. It was 100 degrees outside and no seabreeze but I still rate this place 5 stars. Beer is expensive as you would expect. The venue itself is amazing. The staff there are just as amazing. I look forward to going again
Nice small venue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is poor, but its Boston, you cant expect much. Acoustics were fabulous. I would definitely attend another show here.
Fantastic place to see a show. Bought tickets through StubHub which ended up being VIP tickets which gives access to a very comfortable lounge area overlooking the harbor. Drinks are pricey but to be expected. Great sound and good sight lines as well. Overall a great experience for my 1st time.
It was way better than I expected. Its out in the open, the views were very nice, and the tent keeps you dry while you enjoy watching your show on a rainy day. Its very spacey, the bathrooms and the concession stands are very near and easily accessible, altho, the prices are quite steep(i.e. $12 beer, $14 margaritas, $6 slices). I tried the margarita slush and it was bomb. Overall I truly enjoyed the venue, its energy and its great views. Look forward to come again.
Weird Al was amazing! Great food and drink. Great staff. Cant wait to return and Im from Maine!
Ben & Jerrys inside the Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion. Two scoops of Salted Caramel Blondie and two scoops of Phish Food.
Quite possibly vest place Ive seen a show at. Comfortable, easy ticket process, four pokestops, even free drinks for designated drivers
Venue is great. Being near the harbor is fun and the food/drinks are reasonably priced. Seating is fairly roomy for an auditorium style, and if you want to be outside the tent there are tables and lots of space to stand.
This is a great venue. Easy to get to, good parking all around, and right on the water. Love the lack of walls too. Wish they had more real food...
Best music venue in boston!
Fantastic venue. Sound was excellent. Staff was great. Waterfront is a definite plus. Just a great venue. Refreshments are the typical and pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it. Just do it when you have the opportunity!!!!
The staff goes from being Pleasant to turning into a bunch of A-holes as soon as the concert is over. If you think taking 20 minutes to get to the merchandise line and another 20 min to get your hat and shirt wasnt bad enough dont try to go to the bathroom before you leave because you get a staff members hands put on you inappropriately (as in) pushing you towards the door telling me the bathrooms closed that to me is unacceptable. Maybe its just me that it bothers to be shoved out the door when I asked to use the bathroom before leaving but its perfectly fine for them to let people continue shopping and spending money at the merchandise table.
Nice venue space, beautiful view of the city and of the bay. It should be noted its open air with a tent overhead but the wind makes it pretty chilly.
Bastille and joywave. Great show!
Great summer/fall venue. Well designed to facilitate crowds, movement and food/drink. Plentiful bathrooms too and a great dockside view as you wait for your event to start in the tent.
Beautiful outdoor canopied venue. Efficient security lines, and food and drinks at not ridiculous up charges!
Acoustics arent perfect but its a fun place to see a concert beers/wine on the water in Boston... and now that whole area is cool to hang in.
Great venue located right beside Harpoon Brewery! Very spacious and doesnt fell crowded even at a sold out show. They also allow small backpacks and handbags so if you are out and about all day in Boston before the show this is a plus. You cant go wrong watching a concert here!
Great venue especially when the weather is nice. Sitting at the edge affords great views without being crammed in with a while bunch of people. Only downside is that drinks are Boston prices on steroids.
Kind of a weird venue but still felt intimate. Great show!
Great small venue. It is an outdoor tented venue, so it did get very hot based on the weather, but it was very good with great sight lines and sound.
I have attended a couple of concerts here with comp VIP tickets. The venue is in a nice location right on the water and its basically like attending an outdoor concert without the threat of rain since it is all covered. The acoustics are not great and the drinks are very expensive ($12-15 for a beer). It is a medium sized venue so that you dont get the most popular bands but generally newcomers and older bands from the 70s. Still a fun night out.
Awesome venue. Just no close handicapped parking. Unless you dont mind walking. Staff was awesome. Like anywhere drinks are high priced. But Great outdoor venue with nice breeze from waterfront.
Really cool venue a wonderful location however the security guards are like NFL defense even at the end of the show with many many seats open at the front they wont let you move up a row. Kind of ridiculous when a lot of people leave and you want to see one of your favorite bands up close.
Best venue in its class, by a mile. Extremely professional and helpful staff. Not a bad seat in the house and good sound, sunset and water views. Lobster, other great concessions. 11/10 would go back
The Pavilion is the best! Right on the water. A nice breeze, you cant go wrong. Easy access in and out of Boston. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants. Been there twice this year. Wish I had discovered this venue earlier! Bring the love of your life, you wont regret it
Saw Rob Thomas in concert here. My favorite venue
Outstanding venue right on Boston Harbor. Terrific staff!
Very cool venue! Not too big, not too small. Every seat has a good view! The staff is very friendly and helpful!
Some of the best acoustics in town. Not a bad seat in the house. Great summer time venue.
Great venue, seating is nice and there is also food seating as well. We got great tickets for a concert on Stubhub as well as parking pass for 3 blocks over at the Seacoast Hotel parking garage. We were able to bring in food and sealed water bottles as well.
Security seems better than it has been previously, but it may have been the show. Sunset is lovely from the lounge area. Sound quality isnt great, but its not bad for an outdoor venue near an airport.
Really great indoor-outdoor venue in a great location! Parking was challenging but they do have designated event parking available. Spacious bathrooms and great sound!
Never seen a line for the restrooms or concessions, but Ive never enjoyed the experience of watching a concert with fixed seats. I wish there was at least a GA pit in the front for those of us who really want to enjoy the music. Acoustics also leave something to be desired
Just a great atmosphere! Pretty easy to get in and out of as well!
Foreigner was amazing. Our first time at the Pavillion. Nice venue.
Love this venue. If you can get in the front sections they are the best!
Great Live Summer Shows. This past summer season 2 friends got me VIP Tickets for Shaggy the Reggae Artist and UB40. The performances were fantastic.
The venue was very nice, clean, and the staff were friendly. Being right on the water brought a nice breeze, and the view of the Boston skyline at night is amazing. The seating was average, but excellently placed so everyone got a great view of the stage/concert.
Open air concert venue with a tent. Acoustics are what you would expect. Drinks are even more than you would expect.
Fun venue that gets unexpected acts. Walk around before buying from any vendor, you are likely to find something better with a shorter line.
1st time there...great Venus for a show....just a bit warm....fans would be good to circulate the air under the pavilion. I would go back again. Very convenient next to harpoon brewery!!
Even though the venue was small, it still fit plenty of people. There was a good amount of security so it felt very safe and the food was decent. I saw Billie Eilish tonight and it was one of the best nights of my life. I could see her perfectly even though I got a seat in the back. Loved it!!!
Venue is nice but its the most overpriced place Ive ever been too. $16 for a can of beer, or $6 for a bottle of soda, is insane. I dont even drink and I found the prices laughable. Definitely get your food and drinks before going in
Good outdoor venue with a good selection of good and drink located all around the venue so lines are never super long. Also, you can see the stage pretty well from almost any spot which is a plus. The acoustics arent perfect though, and close to the stage is all seating, which makes it a bit difficult to move around, but overall the good outweighs the bad.
Very clean, free soda for my friend who didnt drink. Had an amazing time!
Right on the water with fantastic acoustics. A great place for enjoying your favorite concert. Go early to have dinner in the surrounding area with lots of choices.
For an outdoor amphitheater its pretty nice and Im glad the whole thing is covered so no one gets rained on. Security and staff were mostly friendly and professional. The food is wildly expensive though and the seating leaves something to be desired. Also sad that they dont have the option for a pit for concerts. Its also lacking in number of restrooms for such a large space.
