The arthouse is a developing experience. The energy by the owners to create an independent theater in the town is admirable and noticeable in the accommodations. There are some issues that can pop up, but that can happen anywhere you go. 50% of the speakers were off last time I went. Also the seating is flat so if a tall person sits in front of you youll have to contort to see the screen. Also the cup holders arent level so make sure to drink at least 25% of your drink to avoid accidental spills.The arthouse is run by people with passion trying to enrich the community. Its constantly improving and developing.

Best cinema in Billings. Where else can you enjoy a glass of good wine, fresh popcorn and good flicks?

Disclaimer, I have not been to this establishment. This review is on the quality of customer service. I was going to attend an event but the weather prevented me from coming up from Wyoming. I called and spoke to Aaron(I believe is his name, I am horrible at remembering names), the manager and received the most courteous service in refunding my tickets. I was asked to call back when he was back in the office and I actually received a call which is amazing! I can’t wait to find another show I want to go to so I can experience the place as well because if the customer service I received is any indication of how it’s run it will be worth it!

So cute!! my bf and i drove over from bozeman to see a movie that we really wanted to see but that definitely wasn’t coming to our theater. the movie (parasite) was spectacular and the theater was adorable. perfect place for a date night, especially if you like indie movies!!

This was so much fun. Watched monster squad and they have a microbrewery root beer on tap. Its pretty cheap and they show super fun movies. Staff is super nice. I will be returning and next time with friends

The Art house provides foreign and independent films you cant find at a regular movie house. Usually no crowds, good popcorn, varity of alcohol beverages, and pop. New seats are needed.

As always the Art House is a great place to see good movies and we usually run into friends which add to the experience

I had heard quite a bit about the Art House but I had not had a chance to visit. I finally did because they had a documentary about Linda Ronstadt. I was quite impressed with the facility. During the course of the evening, I learned about the future plans of the Art House and how they plan to expand and add more anemities to your movie experience. At this point, the theater area is a little small but comfortable. If you want to get away from the typica, local theater experience, come visit the Art House Cinema and Pub. I think you too will be impressed.

An excellent gem for important conversation around the art of film and subjects the world over. The space is vintage golden era of movies with modern technology and local beverages to enjoy. I love this idea! I wish we had something like this where I live. Its a great opportunity to see independent movies that you normally couldnt until the DVD was out or it was available to stream. Cant wait to see the next phase!

We come here at least every month or so, and should come more often. Lots of good, mainly smaller movies and documentaries, many not shown in the theater chains. They also have craft beer, wine, soft drinks, and popcorn. Who could ask for more?

Art House is one of the coolest spots in Billings. It is always my go to when I want to go see a new movie.It is the only local place you can get beer and wine while you watch a movie, plus they have the cheapest popcorn! You can expect old fashioned theater seats or comfy bar seats, great staff, and a rotating movie selection each week. Try their Babcock location for even more movies and showtimes!

Awesome staff and definitely a cool place in Billings. The space was smaller than I expected. The seats are old theater seats and would definitely get uncomfortable with a longer movie. They also have seating at the bar where you can watch the movie. Plenty of candy choices, popcorn, beer, and craft root beer. Went on a Sunday afternoon and wasnt crowded. Plenty of seating. Overall, a cool way to watch independent films in a town where those opportunities are often lacking.

The Art House is one of the best spots in town. They have local beers, a variety of concessions and its the only place in Billings that carries smaller, independent movies. The owner is friendly and the staff is super courteous.

I recently had the enjoyable opportunity to watch a movie at the Art House Cinema & Pub. I went with a group of friends and this was my first time there. I was delighted. The people working were cordial and fun. The space was well-designed and classy. The quality of the film and sound were top notch. ...and the snacks! Yay! Finally, healthy popcorn at the movies! The nutritional yeast and pink salt were out of this world delicious and no feeling yuck after eating it! Beer was cold and cheerfully served.Thank you for the wonderful experience! I love the ambiance, service, popcorn toppings bar, fun selection of candies, and beer and wine. Not to mention the featured movies; they are beautiful and enthralling. It is a lovely opportunity to honor local and non local storytellers that rely on human performance, stunning visuals, and interesting stories to bring their art alive.

We need more people dedicated to bringing people fine art.

This place is the best. Matt, his brother, and the other staff at Art House really care about this theater and even more about the community it fosters. Rather than just popping in, watching a movie, and popping out - it is a great atmosphere to have some delicious popcorn or local beers, truly get lost in a film, then chat with other people as you come back to reality. It is exciting to see this kind of energy in Billings.

Love this little theatre. It only has about 50 seats. You can buy beer or wine to sip while you watch the movie. A great addition to Billings

This is the coolest theater Ive been too, hands down. Hip bar with decent selection, real butter (garlic butter!) in crockpots for delicious popcorn. A place Id hang out AND watch movies.I saw Birbiglias Dont Think Twice. Film selection is top notch.

Art House Cinema & Pub is the new gem of the Magic City! Here you will find a wide variety of amazing movies (ones of which score really high on rotten tomatoes) that typically get overlooked by the mega cinemas in the area. Instead of airing 20-30 minutes of previews and rolling advertisements before the movie, a member of the team gives a brief introduction to the movie and offers the audience a purely optional chance to stick around after the movie for conversation about the film. They encourage audience to suggest movies that they would like to see that would otherwise not be picked up by the mega cinemas.As noted by most of the reviewers, the architecture is absolutely gorgeous, but what stands out the most is clear passion that irradiates from the small group of people who have stepped up to the plate to bring Billings this unique movie going experience. Next time you are interested in going to the movies, go local and support the Art House Cinema & Pub!P.S. If you are wondering about the cost, I believe it was $8 for a general admission ticket. Love movies? They also sold a punch card for 10 viewings of your choice of movie and time for $65 (breaking down to $6.50/viewing).

It is a leovely movie theatre and the service and the staff are very friendly and the movies are much better than dreery england and silly fantasy movies. 10 out of 10 for everything. Anybody coming to billings I highly recommend it.

One of the most appreciated additions to the Billings entertainment and cultural scene. As attendance has increased the offerings have gotten better and better to say nothing of the creative Tuesday night shows of operas, ballets and documentaries.Havent been to a Carmike venue since this place has opened.Full disclosure: my wife Pam and I are now members.Two plussses are the enthusiasm of the owners, managers and staff and the availability of beer and wine to quaff during the shows.
