A small nature park for a leisure walk amidst neighborhood residences. With keen observation and slow pace, one may find quite a few surprises any time of the season along the park path. During my recent early March visit, several plants are in full bloom : a tall plum-cherry hybrid tree, a Korean rhododendrons, red Camelias and varieties of daffodils.
Theres no parking which kinda sucks. Just not a huge garden. I would highly recommend Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna. Not much further and massive in size.
Beautiful! Very short brisk walk, but very rustic photo backdrop all over!
Cute and quiet but the mosquitoes ate us alive!
Beautiful gardens but smaller than you works expect. Can only be stretched to n hour maximum with kids.
Nothing much going on in there. There is not even any parking what so ever. I wish I would have found out earlier that you can only walk to this place.
Nice outdoors place
A lovely, quiet neighborhood garden to walk, sit, and think
Little park that is lush and reminds me of an English garden. Lovely varied foliage and flowers. Would make an excellent picnic spot
Nice. Typical backyard in Potomac, except this is 5 acres in Bethesda so worth the 4 Mile drive to see. Open to the public. But no parking? Grounds could be better maintained; guess it must be budget cuts. Would be nice to have a better path through the trees in the back yard instead of the dirt path fighting vegetation growth into it. Please go visit it and support public parks. Its nice to see the very last Green in this town. Thanks for reading.
Looks good
Nice to take a quiet walk in all seasons.
So so very sad to see the decline in these gardens. Have been visiting for 25 years regularly and over the last five the gardens have seriously deteriorated. Still hold so many beautiful plants but desperately in need of loving care and attention
Awesome location. I love it there.
Beautiful place to go great history
A small but well tended public garden open and worth seeing much of the year. Very accessible to senior and disabled visitors with many benches and several gazebos.
A lovely place, relatively quiet. Could be nice for a small wedding
Sorry but a waste of time to go, I went today and there was barely anything to see. There is no parking so I had to park at the school down the street. There needs to be more flowers there.
Beautiful gardens and grounds
Beautiful. Azaleas galore, giant tulip trees, pretty hellaboras, andromedas, & daffodils.Rhododendrons looking sickly, though-like they really need help.
Great place to be able to meet your girlfriend and your wife will not find you
Beautiful and under the radar public park. Great place for meditation or to just run around with the family.
Nice and quiet place to visit. Parking is not on site, you must park on the street
Very nice, kind of hidden woodland garden. Awesome when the azaleas are in bloom
This is a really nice park to walk around and check out the gardens. Make sure you park across the street.
Small but serene. Does get shady rather early in the day,ake sure to go near noon of the day or you wont get as much sun.
So beautiful
Not a very interesting garden. And lots of mosquitoes.
Great setting for photography free of charge
Nice
Beautiful, relaxing spot!!
Lovely place!!
Beautiful and peaceful
We even seen a small alligator...
Peaceful Park.
