Visit Bend is the information hub for Bend and a place you have to go to if youre visiting. They have a great and friendly staff, combined with amazing stuff for sale that all benefits the town and parks. They also are the last stop for the Ale Trail, visit 10 breweries in town and get a SiliPint, 110% worth struggling through 10 beers on a hot day in town.
Great and highly accessable tourist information spot. The staff was super friendly, offered maps and a number of brochures with neat ideas in the area. Bathrooms were clean and available for anyone. Destination is also where you can redeem your Bend Ale Trail passport. The staff offered our child a free coloring book as well, which was unexpected but extremely nice. A great way to get a feel for the area and locals advice.
Staff was busy talking with someone, seemed personal, and I needed to interrupt after waiting for quite some time for them to finish. All in all, there was plenty of literature and ideas to pursue without staff.
Plenty of information on the area (not just Bend, surrounding areas as well), plus all the Bend-branded Silipints and HydraFlasks you could want. Plus some worthwhile freebies (bidon, neck gaiter). Worth stopping in if you arent familiar with the area.
We enjoyed our time in Bend and loved completing the Tap Trail. My only complaint and reason for not giving a 5-star review is the inclusion of 10 Barrel Brewing. Aside from one brewery that closed down, 10 Barrel is the only place we didnt visit, on principle. We do not support Anhaeuser-Busch and their bullying and buying up segments of the craft brew market. For those unaware, 10 Barrel sold out to them a couple years back, but still pretend to be a craft brewery, so unsuspecting tourists are actually just giving money to Budweiser. I believe the Tap Trail should be only independent craft brands, and Visit Bend should remove 10 Barrel from it.
GREAT area to visit to figure out what to do in the area! Very nice people there and awesome things to check out
The people of Bend are great in a town that has grown so fast with expert planning. Tge Bend Ale Trail was fun and most of the breweries had great beer.
Best place to start the trip of Bend. All info available at the visitor centre. Adjacent to public parking garage.
Come for the beer trail, stay for all the cool things you discover along the beer trail.
Kind and helpful staff. Plenty of free brochures and maps to help you plan your area visits. Some great postcards and souvenirs too. And... restrooms!
Nice, helpful staff. Lots of brochures and maps. We used the information every day of the week we were there. Lots of great ideas of things to do.
Drove 5 hours to Bend to do the Ale Trail for the weekend and 100% recommend!! Visited 11 breweries and had a blast at almost all of them. The people in Bend are so nice and accommodating. Would definitely plan a trip to go back. Great town with a lot to do.
Delightful staff that was helpful throughout the experience, even as awkward tourists who didnt know what they wanted. Helped us get going towards Glass Butte for our obsidian haul, and we wouldnt have known exactly where to go without their help!
Wonderful staff! Helpful and friendly. Several maps to look at and some to purchase!
This is where to end your Ale Trail journey. We got our Awesome silipat pint glasses and our DDs got a hydroflask. Lots of stickers, brochures and very informative people working. Definitely a good place to start or end if you want some ideas for your Bend adventure
Very nice visitor center with knowledgeable and friendly docents. Very nice public toilets and a nice selection of souvenirs. I can highly recommend the Ale Trail and Round-about Art booklet - this is where you can pick up your prizes.
Its a good idea to gi to a visitor center when one is unfamiliar with the area. Even though I thought I researched Bend, there was a lot of things I learned. Naturally the staff was friendly, helpful, and had good tips. This center also had a lot of free printed guides and maps that were useful. Its certainly better than getting packets fro the wall rack at the local motel.
Great place to get maps, guides, and helpful suggestions for exploring Central Oregon. Also they have beautiful posters and cards for sale!
The Visitor Center in the city of Bend incredible they were very helpful Ive never gone to a visitor center but if theyre all like that Im going to start happy travels
We completed 10 ale trail stops and came down to get our prize! Very welcoming service... as it should be! Thanks for the prize!
This local bar serves the stiffest drinks and a perfectly poached egg breakfast. Fast service, excellent servers.

Ill probably come back and stuff
Bend is pretty awesome, but way too many round abouts & people who dont know how to operate them
Website talks about Pet Friendly Bend, its notCity of Bend is NOT dog friendly. $275 fine for off leash. Cannot take any dog to ANY public outdoor events. Off leash parks are small, dusty, and disease infected. Cannot be off leash on trails in summer. Most people and businesses are dog friendly, city council is dog hostile.
Nice people and very helpful.Yah gotta do the Bend Ale Trail!
I love this town and this place is worth the stop.

Believe it or not, that’s something to celebrate. The Pillars of Art program is a pop up art gallery located in the Bend Visitor Center. Visit Bend launched the Pillars of Art program to give tourists a close-up look at Bend’s unique arts and culture scene and it’s a fun way to support emerging local artists. Every six months, a different artist creates chalk drawings on the cement pillars in the lobby. The artist also gets to showcase and sell their art. Think of it like a gallery with a twist.See you soon! -- The Visit Bend Team
