High clearance vehicle needed to go to this place. Good place for mountain biking. Gravel road, at times narrow. Not maintained but part of the state park. Discovery pass required. The viewpoint provides view of the islands looking west. Unfortunately, we went on a cloudy day, visibility was hardly few hundred meters. Definitely a cool place to drive a 4x4.
The drive up is not for the faint of heart (or anything less than a small SUV), but the view is amazing, and there are a couple picnic tables if you want to bring takeout and have a romantic sunset meal. Bring a blanket (and maybe some bug spray), get cozy and bask the sun-soaked silence.
Great off road trek. Hiking trails along the way. Beautiful sunsets at the top. Its our favorite place to drive up to in a new vehicle.
Make a whole day of this. Explore everything. You will never be disappointed
Beautiful view and always enjoy the view when Im at this overlook. Trees and brush are starting to block the view, but do you cut nature to see more nature?
This overlook is nice plus you can ride your downhill bike on two most popular trails in aria (double diamond and double down)
Awesome view. Wasnt sure it was going to be worth the drive up the windy gravel road but it absolutely was
Always an amazing view in the food or the bright sunshine
Great views and access to some great trails. The Rock Trail is a gem.
Dirt road to top. Nice view. Trailheads to fragrant lake and ridge trail.
Breath taking
