Very nice park buildings but absolutely no signage! I drove by 3 times before I figured it out. The parking lot entrance looks like a construction zone.
Well maintained park. Has a great playground design that the kids seem to like. There are picnic tables, but theyre not under any cover. Theres limited shade. The beach is small, but theres not usually many people there. The pier is fairly long, but narrow, so youll definitely want to wear a mask since people will have to pass close by. Ive seen people picnicking, fishing, swimming, and generally hanging out. A lifeguard was on duty when we were there. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp down to the pier. A limited amount of free parking is available. We found a nice patch of shaded grass where we spread out a blanket and had lunch. Other than the freeway noise, it was pretty peaceful.
Didnt go in to this nice little park this visit (theres some construction at the entrance), but instead used the parking lot for a bike ride across I-90. The location is perfect, as its a short ride across the street to get onto the protected path on the bridge, and coming back the path ends here, so theres no way to miss it.
Nice park. Very muddy at times. Sometimes over crowded with fisherman. Nice place overall. I like to come here and enjoy the water.
Beautiful park. It’s enclosed so is not windy at the beach. The playground is new and well maintained. The parking seems to be small but we’ve always found a spot. The only thing because I have a 4 star is because the playground is far from the beach, you have to choose one or another. The restrooms are well maintained and there is a shower outside to take the sand away. During the summer you can rent kayaks and some other equipment but check the days they are open before
Nice sandy beach with bathrooms and a shower to clean off sand. Play structure also available. Lawn is well maintained. Minus 1 star because parking is extremely limited.
Small beach park with play ground.Parking lot is very small with cars cramping drive into parking lot.Dock to jump off of into lake.Lifeguard on duty at certain times.Rocky terrain underwater sand leading up to water.Wed go back.
Nice little secluded beach, good place to hang out or go swimming or just chill out, you can also rent canoes and kayaks here. Its sort of right under the bridge to Mercer Island, you could drive past it and miss it its kind of hidden. Theres also a dock here and they have lifeguards on duty. The parking here is limited but hopefully theyll fix it soon.
It is beautiful. It is good to ride a boat. I could see a mountain over a hill
Nice park right on the water with play structure, shade from the bridge above, ok parking. Might be noisy from I90 right above but good access to Lake WA.Nice place to stop on a bike ride and cool the feet too!
Lifeguards! So good to know someone is watching out for us.
Beautiful view, great place too spend a sunset evening.
Enatai is a very nice, clean little park hidden away underneath i90. They have clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse off after you swim. REI also rents paddleboards and kayaks from the park. I like to come watch the sunset from here
Nice little Beach park in Bellevue with access to lake Washington. There is a REI boathouse where folks can rent kayaks and take kayaking lessons. There is one accessible parking spot, a kids play area, some benches and a very small walk path. Parking is very limited with few spaces next to the park and a few more under the freeway bridge.
Really nice beautiful beach and there is an area next to the playground to put up a hammock !
Very well maintained park and shore area with life guard available and separate safe area for kids to play at the beach. Boats for rent also available. Currently some construction going on and coz of the same parking is limited
Great for walks and enjoyable views.
Small beach park with swimming and canoe rental. Nice picnic table area and climbing toys. On cold winter days my wife and I sit in the car and enjoy watching Lake Washington.
Secretly located in a perfect place. Bathrooms, outdoor showers, etc...
Clean, easy access to lake for canoe, nice restroom,.safe parking.
Beautiful place, and scenary. Had a nice picnic but be aware it gets cold and windy.
Beach its ok, very loud because of the hiway, but it is the perfect spot to rent canoes or launch your kayak and row to Mercer Slough
The rolling hill feel with lush grass is fun for family picnic
Not much at this park. Just a good boat launch area.
My backyard beach. Well maintained by city
Yep, good place to swim to Mercer Island and back...
Very calm, no crowds, clean, easy access.
Stay away. This place is terrible. The last thing it needs is more people as it is a hidden gem on the lake. Great fishing from the pier and rentals for athletes. All kidding aside, you will enjoy this key location to launch your activity.
Great place to stop for a quick walk. Parking is limited, however.
Good for crappie fishing after 8:30PM
I find myself here often. When its quiet, its my medicine.
To see Washington lake views beautiful, fun, swming beach park Redmond .
Very nice and well kept up.
Great beach, and friendly staff! Highly recommend kayaking here
V gr8 park with all the amenities and beach area, with REI boathouse. Only laydown is the overhead bridge
It was cool to hang out
Great pier to cast the line out from. Didnt catch anything but it was a very nice day.
Nice place to enjoy swim. Enough benches to sit. There is a decorated open air space which can be booked for small family celebrations. Have an awesome view of the yacht club and the surrounding areas.
Great place for kids!
Nice small park with green grass, shade on a hot sunny day, and great views of Lake Washington looking south. Nice boat house to rent canoes or kayaks to go on the water. Swimming area with a small beach and a life guard. Only downside is the park is under I-90, so you have the highway nose.
Well maintained and really nice view in Bellevue
Good and safe place for kids to have fun at the beach. Has a well maintained play area too. Parking is the only issue!
Not exactly a beach, dont fall for the name. Its just a backwater which looks like a beach. But a good place to spend some time.
Cute little beach
Enjoyed a lovely paddle out on a kayak launching from here into the slough. A slice of serenity right by the freeway...
Definitely has a beach and faces southwest perfect placement to extend Seattles sunny season️
Beautiful little beach.
Magnificent park with incredible view and an immaculate restroom. Please, please keep this restroom clean, the possibilities of this restroom being permanently locked are great if we don’t do our part to keep things in decent (or in this case wonderful) conditions for each-other, for ourselves.#gvadm #doyourpart
Good to have REI kayak rentals that are so much better and safer than the period rental. Sadly water quality has been an issue lately. Parking can be tough
Gorgeous event space with views of lake washington and Mercer island. Unique space with the bridge overhead. Convenient rentals for kayaking and other REI gear. Perfect summer party spot (reserve ahead of time)
Gorgeous sceneries!
Nice spot to paddle from! Quiet and out of the way for being in the city
Another favorite my my running and its very peaceful and Im very happy
Enatai is a fun place to rent a canoe/kayak/paddle board and take the slough for a relaxing outing. Just reserve with REI or come early.
Beautiful, blue herons!
Nice place just to relax and unwind
Very peaceful park right off the beach.
Great place for swimming and jumping off the dock. No diving boards, lifeguards are on duty a lot of the year. Maximum depth:10 ft. Kayak/paddleboard rentals available. Bathrooms are (relatively) clean, playground is nice, water fountains and a footwashing station are also available.
Small park with beach access on Lake Washington. Limited parking available. Must reserve a picnic table area for eating. Childrens play area with jungle gym. Roped off swimming area and dock. Nice place to spend a sunny summer day with friends.
Very clean, good canoe rentals, close to Lake Sammish Trails and Mercer Island Trails
Awesome little park with a beach and swim area. Kayak and other paddle board rentals at the Rei boat house on the property.
Secluded, fairly unknown beach front park with kayak/canoe rentals. It is under the freeway so you do get some car noise, but well with it.
A nice place on Lake Washington for walking and looking at calm waters. During summer you can take kayak and park offers nice views and parking is easy with many streets around to park to. No commercial beach or shops there as its small neighborhood park with great amenities. Will post pictures next time I go there...
amazing place
Small compact park with swimming beach, nice views, playing field and playground. Rent kayaks from the REI booth onsite. The fishing pier is popular also, and iin hot days jumping from the pier is fun
Great beach. Excellent kayak trip.
Beautiful park with scenic views. Rent paddle boards and kayaks. Great place for a picnic, even had a nice playground for the kids. The swimming area has lifeguards but is a little on the small size (hence only 4 stars).
I love you Enatai Beach - beautiful job by Bellevue Parks. Ive watched this park grow for over 40 years. Lovely!!!
Cute little hidden away beach. Not a fan of the construction going on, but at least its not blocking the parking lot anymore. Love that there is a path for wheelchairs or strollers leading down to the beach as well as stairs.
It is a very nice beach. But the service went down even though it is transferred to REI.
Not a lot of parking there
Great beach and playground. Restrooms and lots of shaded hillsides, too!
Nice Park.
A good place to go on the week days but weekends are extremely crowded for such a small beach front area. The swim area is also pretty small. If youre looking for somewhere to float and relax, this is not the greatest place to go as the floaty and kid swim area are one and the same, as well as super small. If youre looking to go paddle boarding or canoeing this is a great spot to rent equipment from.
Loved the calmness here.
Great place
Rarely crowded beach and park is an awesome stop on a hot day. I almost dont want share this lil gem!
Small park right by the I90 bridge at the Bellevue side. Nice playground for toddlers. It has seasonal kayak rental and fishing dock. It has limited parking. The park is just a few steps away from Lake Washington. Ive visited a couple of times to fish for trout and perch. Theyre under the dock chasing my pink squid lure. Theyre not interested in biting though. Good spot to launch personal small water crafts.
Beautiful location next to the water, hidden from site so that its easy to drive past without knowing. Even on a cold, cloudy day, it is wonderful. Hope to go back on a nice day this summer. But shhhh! Please dont tell a lot of people about this place - otherwise its peaceful beautiful nature will be crushed, along with my heart. And I will die. And then Ill haunt you. ~(- _ -)~
Tiny park on the south east shore of Lake Washington, right next to, north of, the I-90 bridge to Mercer Island. Not much parking and hidden back through neighborhood roads. However there is a nice grassy area with a good jungle gym for kids, a covered picnic and BBQ area, a sandy beach with a roped off swimming area and a boat dock. The best part is the boat house where you can rent kayaks or canoes and paddle north along the shoreline to gawk and envy the beautiful water front homes; or head south and east, go under the I-90 bridge and head into the still waters of the Mercer Slough. We saw a bald eagle, herons and ducks, it was not crowded at all on a Friday afternoon in August.
Nice chill beach. A great place to unwinde.
Fishing is good
We had our company party here, the place was nice. Kind of cool how is was tucked under the bridges. A clean and friendly environment. You can rent a few different water toys or jump off their dock for a nice swim. A cool little spot.
Nice place, under the highway but you don’t notice (you can’t see nor hear the cars). There are kayaks for renting and good parking.
Not a real big park. Small but clean.
Wish it had more to it but it always has clean womans restroom, pretty seasonal, though I do let my son play on the playground when its not raining.
This is the perfect place to rent kayaks. You get in and out of the kayak on the beach (as opposed to a dock) which is much easier. Then you have easy access to paddle the mercer slough ...... within minutes you feel far away from the big city. Its very safe, as well. The slough is teeming with lots of interesting wildlife. Appropriate for novice kayakers and families, but also enjoyable for the more experienced. Great place with free parking.
Great panoramic view of the water. Always feels so relaxed when I am here.
Perfect spot with something for the kids (playground plus sand) and for adults (two places to sit by the water).Brought my inlaws here and they loved it.
Beach is very nice. Swimming area is nice, drops off decently fast in the outer swimming area. Swimming area isnt huge, so probably can feel cramped if a lot of people are there. Park area was nice. A few picnic tables, nice playground with jungle gym, large grassy area. Life guard was on duty and attentive. Only bad part of experience, was that a car was broken into in the public parking area while we were there. I would recommend hiding your valuables, or not bringing any at all.
