Definitely a must! Reclining chairs & dine-in theater impeccable service! THANK YOU FOR STELLAR SERVICE EVERY TIME AND GREAT FOOD!!!
Im a fan, for multiple reasons. First, unlike more convenient (to me) theaters, this one offers the occasional matinees on 3D titles. Second through however many else, the seats are spacious and comfy, the sound is good, the large seats give a sense of intimate viewing without being crowded. While the food is good (you get what you order, its pretty standard restaurant fare) the service is great, friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive, and the food and drinks really are good. Though personally I stick to appetizers, desserts, energy drinks, and cocktails. But thats me. Anyway, yeah, this is my go-to theater now. There has to be a pretty compelling reason to justify going somewhere else now that Ive been here. OH. Minor quibble: the elegant bathroom sinks, while lovely, are pretty much right up against the spout. The faucets need longer necks. As it is, its a bit of a chore to get your hands completely wet or completely rinsed, which is kind of the point of a bathroom sink. But other than that - fantastic.
Dont forget to bring your ID. This is a 21+ DIne-IN theatre with a power reclining seats which is super comfortable and fantastic. They have a full bar when you enter the theatre. The service inside the theatre is really good. The food is average, so dont have very high expectations, although they have good variety for the drinks. Please like the review if you find it helpful.
Been here twice. The first time we came we ate a full dinner. The fried chicken sandwich was good, but the quesadilla was nothing special. We also had the pretzel sticks which were good but on the salty side.Second time we opted to have dinner before and just get dessert and drinks during the movie. Drinks were pretty good, although nothing terribly special. The seats are nice and comfy, they recline and have a seat warmer as well. The staff here has always been courteous and nice. I do wish they payed attention more to the finished plates and cups to help us clear out some of our table space when they come by to bring us more drinks or food.Overall I do like this theater, but I think the prices are a bit high. Its definitely more of a treat for a special night rather than a place Id go to see all my movies.
Very cool theater. 21 and over only. Love the food and drink while you watch a movie. Need more of these.
First time at this theater. I have four comments with with the last two explaining the low review. First, its a very nice upscale dinner movie theater. Ive been to a couple of others in Seattle and Cinemark is the best for screen size and comfortable recliner seats. Secondly, we ordered hamburgers and beer which came out quickly and were very good. All of this has happened before the movie started. They say to come a half hour early to get seated and time to order. We finished the burgers and beer within the first half hour waited before placing another order. Thirdly, as I mentioned the theater recommended arriving early. Thats fine however, when the movie was supposed to start, previews and commercials played for another half-hour thus we were at the theater seated for an hour before the movie started. Lastly, and most importantly, we ordered another beer and a large popcorn at the start of the movie. The popcorn arrived about 20-30 minutes later, then another 10 minutes or so for the beer. Okay, they were busy, despite the theater only sparsely occupied. The problem is that this was certainly the worst popcorn I have ever had at a theater. Additional, it was most certainly microwaved and to top it off it was burnt. They claim to have in-house popped popcorn. A stupid assertion as everyone has in-house popcorn.
My girlfriend and I have been here twice now and it is excellent. The service is great, everyone is friendly, and the food and drink are pretty good as well. It is an excellent place to watch animated/Disney/kids movies without having to deal with loud children in the theater, which is great if your significant other happens to love classic Disney remakes. I would definitely recommend it for any other movie as well though.
I dont generally let small negative experiences get to me, but this was a terrible experience at this theater. I came here with my wife for Valentines day, we paid the extra money for the comfy chairs and the ability to order dinner while watching a movie. We placed our order near the end of the trailers before the movie started. Two drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. They brought us the drinks immediately and then nothing. After 20 minutes, they brought us the checks. I paid, anticipating the food will come shortly. After another 20 minutes, we buzzed them, wondering where the appetizer was or any type of feed. The waiter said that their kitchen is running behind and that the previous waiter should have told us. However she assured us that the food would arrive after another 20 minutes (1 hour from when we ordered it, according to her). Then the movie was done (1.5 hours) and we walked out, having paid and got nothing. :( We of course complained to the manager and they refunded us, but I thought it was very irresponsible for them to let us order when they knew their kitchen was so far behind and to have the guts to charge us knowing how backed up they were. After the movie, several other families were in the same boat. Just poor staff management and operation overall. I am a diabetic, I took my pre-meal medicine to keep my blood sugar down during the meal, but then ate nothing for 1.5 hours, which could cause my blood sugar to go too low. Just very careless of them. You dont just discover your kitchen is 1.5 hours behind.
Exceptional theater experience. The recliner chairs tilt back about 75% and dont lay back flat like other theaters. The back and leg rest are fixed in relation to each other so theres only one toggle switch to worry about. The pulled pork nachos were awesome, and I suggest getting the BBQ drizzle on the side so you can fine tune your spice level. The chocolate brownie sundae was smaller than expected but very good.
The reclining extra large seats are awesome! You have plenty of room and an unobstructed view from any seat. The menu options are fine. I wish they had more healthy options that you dont have to modify to make them actually healthy. The employees are nice. The bar is a little slow. When its time to check out because your movie is about to start, its time for the check! A little faster please.
I do enjoy pigging out and getting wasted while watching a movie. Great service, tasty food, and an adequate selection of stuff. I mean its a movie theater so Im not expecting a 5 star Michelin experience but overall was extremely satisfied.
Great place for hanging with friends either on the weekends or after work. The food and drink selection is good without being overwhelming and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is the seats dont recline as far as others and the bathroom is a bit of a walk from some of the rooms, otherwise great place.
Super nice movie theatre and great place to get a drink and watch a movie. I was asked 4 times in the span of 5 minutes to pull out my ID to prove I was over 21, I’m actually 25 so that was a little annoying, there has to be a better way to check IDs.
I like that this page is 21 and up, but for $20 a ticket you expect better service. I had a pretty bad experience with food delivery twice now. Today I placed an order at the beginning of the movie, and it never came. I watched everyone else even get their second order. I pressed the call button at 1 hour in to be told my order went to the wrong theater. When they corrected it and finally brought it, they still missed the drink. This is all very frustrating as it distracted me from the movie, and had I not been paying attention, I would have never received my order. The wait staff is friendly, but I was surprised that no compensation was offered.Basically, go to a restaurant beforehand, and order from the snack bar or bar instead of in the theater.
Best theater in the area! We now only prefer to watch movies here and will drive just to the Eastside for it. The staff are always very welcoming, polite, and helpful. The theaters are always clean, spacious, with comfortable reclining seats. Haven’t tried the food but the overall experience is worth the extra costs.
One of the best movie watching experiences ever.Perfect for date night. You get a full, proper meal served to your table without having to move your but.Not too crowded.
Music is way too loud, I bring earplugs.Almost no gluten free options.Other than that its a really good time. The seats are all fancy and heated. The food is pretty decent. Its a nice night out. Would recommend.Go early. They somehow ran out of menus the last time I went?
Waited for food for an hour - the movie almost ended so we had to cancel. Called waiters twice while we waited only to get yeah we see your order has been there for a while.Theater is pretty good - nice sound and seats. But this is a restaurant so act like one.
Very pleasant, comfortable environment with extremely friendly staff. The venue is well maintained with great amenities. The biggest short coming is the food. Orders take an incredibly long time to prepare and the quality is very inconsistent. Overall I feel it is worth paying extra to see a movie here, but I am wary of ordering a meal based on my previous experience.
Is it spendy? Yes. Is it nice to eat good food and have a cocktail while watching a movie without worrying about kids? Absolutely.
This is by far the best movie theater on the east side. You can become a member for $9.99 a month, and get a free movie plus 20% off concessions. The seats recline, and have built in heater. To order food, just push a button, and they come quickly. Parking is ample, and validated for 3 hours, so you can shop a bit after the movie.
The only drawback up going to this movie theater is that its so good, its going to ruin any normal theater, even those with reclining seats.Imagine pushing a button on your own electric lazy boy. Push another button and someone brings you a beer or food? Its like flying business class with a giant screen!
Great quality, service is good, and adults only. Its perfect! You can buy tickets online, walk to your movie and order something to eat from your seat. Great experience!
This is the best place to see a movie. The drinks are great, good food and the staff are all very friendly. The seats are super comfortable.
Super clean, responds pretty quickly to call button. Burgers were nice and fries yummy. If youre going to go out for dinner and a movie, combining them is great, no pressure on your time. Prices are as expected. Seats are large and comfy.
Five stars for the movie hall, but 3 stars for the food and service. Seats are really comfortable and the large screen is unobstructed. Food items tasted average at best. I had asked for extra forks but never received them.
Enjoyed dinner and a move here on a weeknight. Service was great, food was great and the prices were very reasonable. Will be going again.
We went twice and had inconsistent experience. Food options needs to have more healthy options. Music is very loud and hurts your ears sometimes. Need to carry earplugs next timeAlso we bought online Cinemark tickets after confirming with the front desks at this theater. After arriving on the counter they charged us extra money. Why will do that? And not disclose this at the 1st place. Very Dishonest! SAD!
This is my favorite theater in the area. It is 21+, the seats are the best, full reclining with heat, the food is really good for theater food, and the screens and sound are top notch. The ticket prices dont seem any higher, either. I will always go here first when the movie I want to see is here.
It has spoiled me on any other way of watching movies. I did find it hilarious when one of the workers stopped my friends and I because they thought this little girl was with us, honest mistake that we just laughed over.
The prices were what I expected but we had a terrible experience. The seats squeaked the whole time no matter what. We waited almost an hour before we had to go find someone for service. They told us to press the button and call them. We didnt know this and no one told us sooner! So we pressed the button and waited another 45 mins for service. We got our food 10 minutes before the end of the movie! Disappointing. Wont come back.
The reclining chairs and in house service is great! But that also means that youll be interrupted quite a few times during the movie by the attendants crossing over you to provide service to others.
A movie and good food too. Love the experience compared to traditional theaters
There was a manager by the name of NALAN he was very professional and went well BEYOND what I could have asked to make sure the my movie experience was great! The seats are comfortable, clean environment and the service is terrific. I would highly recommend this theatre to anyone whos interested in seeing a movie here. I will definitely be coming back thanks Cinemark!
Its so great to be able to watch a movie and have a whole meal and drinks. It is very clean and the servers are super nice. :)
Comfy reclining wide seats. Great angle. No one is ever so tall that my view is impeded. Its Great that popcorn and drinks are brought to our seats.
Very very nice leather reclining seats. They also serve you food at your seats. Though its a little expensive.
Great place to see a movie and have dinner and drinks. Comfortable chairs. Waiters serve you at your seat. Food is good.
Worst theater I’ve ever been too. We spent our Valentine’s Day here and brought our food as the final credits were rolling when we ordered before the movie started. STARVING.
Its fine and best experience to watch movie here. Loved the atmosphere and food service. Food is delicious. Black bean burger with rosemary fries and tandoori chicken flatbread pizza.
I like Cinemark Reserve, its one of the few theaters I go to these days and the only one my boyfriend likes. The chairs are very spacious and comfortable and I like being able to recline. The tickets are also comparably prices with other theaters considering the amenities. Their food selection is pretty good too and its nice to have table service, I just wish their servers were trained a bit better. I had one guy come by twice to drop off popcorn I didnt order. Its also sometimes hard to get service once the movie begins. Still,.its a 21+ theater which is really nice and the seats are reserved so its an all together stress free experience.
This is the best movie theater, mainly because alcohol is served and no kids are allowed! The service is always excellent. If youre looking for a movie that you can enjoy quietly while ordering food and drinks, this is the place.
Love the cinemark reserve. Comfy chairs, no obnoxious teens or children. Good food, if not memorable food. Excellent staff.
My face theater. The BEST reclining seats, good food, drinks, bar drinks, snacks, brought to your seT to eat on a small pull over table. The ultimate movie experience. Also a lounge area with sofas, chairs and a bar for before or after socializing.
Update:Apparently this is a corporate policy not limited to just this movie, but the employees here were heavily implying otherwise, and I could swear Ive seen many people with bags in there on previous trips. The employees here need to stay consistent and need to actually know their rules.Original:They are either implementing braindead zero tolerance policies, or using the facade of such to hide discretionary profiling.I wanted to go see Joker after work. I packed up my small laptop in its bag and walked to the theater on my much longer walk home. Bought my ticket, walked to the check-in counter, and was told that theyd need to search my bag. Sure I said, expecting this to be about bringing outside food in or something. The on duty manager took one look at me and informed me I could not enter the theater with my bag. I cannot leave sensitive work materials with some random people, so offered to turn it out for them. This was refused too. The stated policy changed in an instant. This was starting to look to me like it had nothing to do with contraband milk duds.I was *escorted* to the front counter and given a refund. See photo. This was very disappointing and frankly hostile. This theater is normally pretty great, but either corporate mandated a completely useless elementary shool-esque policy, or the manager needs to take a good hard look at their values.
Nice theater! Great to have a place that serves food and alcohol, has reserved reclining seats and is 21 and over. My only complaints are that they dont clear your tables when they walk by, things just sit there in front of which to the end. And there was a computer monitor on the back wall that kept turning on and would brighten up the theater, it was very distracting and clearly not supposed to happen.
Went to see recent Star Wars movie, been there a couple of times the place was nice enough and seemed reasonable. However my wife and I ordered a $27 bottle of wine and ended up getting charged with a $80 bottle of wine. Should have went to see Hustlers because of the bait & switch. I paid the bill but like to warn folks that there’s some sketchy things going on with the wait staff.
Very convinient location. Helpful staff. Clean. Decent rates. Overall very good.
Pretty nice experience. Our first time in a dine in theater. As close to the comfort of your living, you get to watch the big screen, not to mention someone bringing your food to your seat! Had some basic food, but it was on par with a good casual restaurants. Saw other food being delivered and all looked good too. Will definitely go back!
Pretty pricey but worth it place to watch a movie. Seats recline and you can order food and alcohol. Theres only a couple of seats in each movie theater so it never feels crowded.
The Cinemark doesnt have a bag check-in and neither do they allow to carry your bags in. We biked there, so there wasnt really a way to watch a movie. On asking the customer service, they asked to hunt for a place to stash our bags. Worst service and missing basic necessities. If you dont have a bag check-in, inspect and let people take their bags in; else put that on your website.Never coming back.
I Love how this theater is 21+, serves food and drinks at the super comfy chairs. The rewards pass is great, I love saving up a few months and then going to the movies for free. My Only gripe with this particular theater is sometimes it doesnt play movies that other theaters do that I want to see.
They have zero bag policy with no locks. So good luck putting your bags away if you dont have a vehicle.
Everyone was so nice and helpful. Very nice amenities. Will definitely be returning for more movies.Planned to see a particular movie at a particular time. We accidentally walked into the wrong auditorium. We realized it too late and missed the movie we were supposed to see at the appointed time. When we brought to their attention, they offered us a refund or another movie - even though it was our mistake, not theirs.
Beautifully comfortable recliners and attentive service. Food and drinks comparable to mid tier restaurant but a bit more expensive. All in all a great experience.
We went to see a movie and I was super impressed with the theater. Reclining seats and movable snack trays. You can order all your snacks and drinks from your seat and have them delivered to you.
I really liked this venue. The food was decent and I like the theatre. I liked the game room, the bar and the atmosphere. The bathroom was pretty messy which surprised me but that is the only reason why I give. It less than 5 stars..
Super comfy reclining seats, delicious (though limited) menu, delightful servers.
I have been to this theater 3 times. The staff is friendly. The managment is walking around asking if every thing is ok with our movie and or our food. The food is awesome. Little over priced but what do u expect. 20% off everything if ur a member tho. The recliners are awesome and the only downfall is they are too comfortable. I want to fall asleep everytime I go watch a movie lol. They serve u right In the movie so u dont miss anything. (If only they had a bathroom on the recliner) haha Im kidding.
I took my gf here recently to view the Elton John bio-pic, Rocketman. It was my first, and certainly not last, screening at this theater.Seats are massive, clean, and way too comfortable. Pressing a small button summons the wait staff who appear out of the dark like some kind of cine-ninja.Food and drink is excellent. Beer is cold, mixed drinks are stiff. Food is hot and tasty. This is no fry shop, its a top quality restaurant.Youll spend some cash here, no doubt, but itll be worth every penny.
Overall this is huge theatre with ample seating. But my rating is for my recent bad experience out here. They have introduced a new baggage policy that does not allow you to carry a backpack to the theatre. This policy is not mentioned anywhere on ticket booking websites such as fandango or atom.We showed up at the theatre with a laptop backpack directly from work and they wouldnt let us carry it it. We even spoke to the manager and offered to empty the backpack and let them check it but they wouldnt agree. They also refused to store the backpack for us while we watched the movie. We had to run down all the way to the parking lot to leave the bag in the car and ended up missing 10 minutes of our movie. If you introduce such policies, make sure your customers are aware of it in advance.
Love the ability to order food and drinks from seat and reserved seating for popular titles. They have recliner seats but the footrest doesnt come up as high as those at the Federal Way location. The space between rows is also shorter than other location so we constantly had to put foot rest down to avoid tripping the poor servers trying to weave their way down the row.
Comfortable lounge seating. Fun to have specialty food and drinks brought to you. Drinks are as expensive as in a bar and amount in glass served is just as minimum. You will pay $10 for a 2-3 sip glass of wine. Food also a bit high, but very tasty. Staff serving are very nice.
21 up move theater serving alcohol and sandwiches in recliner seats. The staff comes to your reserved seats to take your order. The best way to watch a movie is at Cinemark!
Best theater there is! 21+ so no kids, food and drinks can be ordered at your seat, food is good and a decent price which is hard to come by. I also love the ability to reserve seats. Seats are very comfy and I love the Movie Pass, free tickets are awesome!!
Always enjoy this theater. Comfortable and lots of food and beverage options.
Great food! Seat warmers! Plush kick back chairs! Clean bathrooms!I was lost instead of pointing an employee stopped what they were doing and showed me exactly where I was going and made sure I didnt need anything else.Exceptional service!
Theres really nothing better than a grown-up movie joint. although the prices here are extremely high for a typical ticket to see a movie it is definitely worth it. Food is very good and upscale compared to every movie theater. They even serve cocktails which is why its 21 and older and is a great date night spot. They have somewhat healthy hummus and poke I would definitely recommend anybody.
They will refuse entry for anyone that doesnt have ID, even to someone over 60 which is what happened with my party. But they did give me a refund without trouble so 2 stars for the refund ease.
Food is alright (some of the food is a of a mixed bag), but the seats are roomy and heated. My go-to place for a dinner and a movie days night. Its nice to catch a movie on a weekday and not have to worry about grabbing food before
Very nice theater with a variety of food selections and drinks! Highly recommend!
Love this place! Dine in at your very comfortable lounge recliner while watching the movie. Wait staff very helpful. If you join the Cinemark Movie Club, you get a 20% discount on concessions, food and alcohol, along with discounted movie tickets. Great deal!! Im very happy with Cinemark and really love this theater!!
Clean and good environment. Great, quick service during movie. Like the lounge area. And its only for 21 and over so no screaming children, no riffraff about, and reasonably priced menu plus vegetarian options. Good seats that recline.
Really nice place to have a date night with the love of my life. Good food and very comfortable for a person thats not into movie I really enjoy it
Very comfy seats. The upper section was full on a Monday night so a lot of people know about and like the place already. Check to book your seats online before going out you may end up with a seat your not excited about. I was surprised that the wait staff havent perfected dropping the bill during a lull in the movie. Fortunately I was with someone and able to ask them what was just said in the movie.
Love the big cushy reclining seats, large aisles and option for drinks and food!
I come here regularly with my family. This is the best theater on the East Side for sure...Excellent food and solid staff.
Never get out of your seat for anything! AWESOME! 21 and over, perfect.
Atmosphere, food and drinks were great..such a fun way to see a movie.
This is our go-to theatre for movies. We always end up having a good experience. Very nice staff and service.
A nice alternative to ipic. If you stay at the W hotel this along with the slew of other places all in the same building can make for a great date night/weekend getaway.
PROTIP: Dont be like my girlfriend and mistake the heated seat button with the call for server button. The former is near the arm rest and wont get you service, and the latter is near your legs on the console between seats.
The food is good. The seats are comfortable. The staff is responsive and friendly. Everything is reasonably priced. And theres beer.
Great way to watch movie, comfortable chairs and great food and drinks
The person who built this place had extremely high standards and Im quite amazed by the design of the interior. If only the staff upheld those standards....
Nice place to see a movie and eat/drink. Food is good and reasonable. Wine list and bar drinks are good. Nice seats and good service.Great for a date night
Their recliners literally put me to sleep...They outdo other competing movie theaters with their recliner seats. I also love that its 21+ so there aren’t any obnoxious teenagers or crying children. The staff also checks ID to ensure that this isn’t an issue. The crowd is also very respectful of the fact thatThe staff is very hospitable and the food is always delivered in a timely manner. My chicken wings were burnt this time around...bleh.
I was there on a slow day but was still pleased with their service times. Being able to enjoy a healthy salad and a glass of wine while watching a movie is pretty great in my opinion. I just wish it was somehow also open to families because there are times it would be great if we could take our son and enjoy a movie and dinner and not have to pay ipic prices. The fact that Cinemark is affordable is great!
This is our favorite Eastside theater. We enjoy the reclining seats and food brought to us as we watch the movie. The food is actually reasonably priced and well prepared. It is nice to have a theater specifically for adults. I use the app and buy our tickets ahead of time.
Enjoyed Captain Marvel and had late dinner here before infinity war endgame. Trent was a great guy, prepared the food patiently so it taste great and hot. Great experience.
Love this theater! Very upscale with a full service bar. You can order food from a menu, and it will be delivered directly to your seat by a theater waiter/waitress! Seats are the leather recliner/lounge type with electric adjustments for the foot rest. One thing to keep in mind: Since there is a bar, this theater is 21 and over. You will be turned away if anyone in your party is below 21.
Its a beautifully modern theater with plenty of entertainment, pool tables, games, bar. The theater has super comfy reclining seats, good sound and wait service. The food is pretty tasty and reasonably priced but a soda will set you back over 5 bucks.
Good! Seats recline nicely. Relax. Order. EatDrink. Enjoy a good movie! (The chicken bites were good. The mini cheeseburger trio not so much. But we had good wine )
Great service, and great experience. Super comfy chairs.
Super fun to have food service and drinks and very comfortable and plush seats for movie viewing. Projection and sound are also top notch; I dont know a nicer venue to watch first run movies in Seattle. Only downside for families is 21-and-over only.
Monday nights seem the best for watching a movie. They bring you beer and/or food if you order. Cant beat that. 10/10 would recommend again. Recliner seats mid row are the best.
Large cushy (heated) chairs. Service is good, and the food is decent. But lets face it, the real reason to go is to watch a movie while sipping a cocktail, and they do that well. The prices are reasonable. This is a good Date Nite place.
