Cinemark means movies watching in plush comfort! Its my first time back at the movies in 8 months and I felt safe and cared for. They are doing a phenomenal job with safety and hygiene during Covid! It never felt so good to be back at the movies!
I go to this theater sometimes after my internship in downtown Bellevue and Ive never had a bad experience. To my knowledge they dont offer reserved seating but if you go during the early to mid afternoon (I usually go around 3-4 PM) there isnt that many people. I had a fantastic experience yesterday when I watched Bad Boys for Life at 11:25 AM because I had a day off and I was literally the only person in the theater. Definitely the best movie experience in my life!! Go for earlier showings if you can!!
Clean. Great staff. Excellent job of managing social distancing! Want to go again soon.
I would give this theater a better rating, but it is not soundproof. I could hear the soundtrack of another movie in the complex throughout what was an otherwise superb film. This is not acceptable.I asked for a seat on the side of the entrance, but the man at the ticket window steered me to just the opposite. And my chair squeaked.I wish parking directions were clearer. The hike from the south garage almost made us late.
The theatre experience was nice but I found the parking very confusing. I parked in the South Parking lot but I should have parked in the North lot. I didnt realize that at the time. So it took me awhile to get to the right theater and the show had already started by the time I got there. There should be better signage when we turn into the parking area from Bellevue Way.
Nice to have them back open.
They wouldnt let me in with my backpack because of some insane no bags rule. And they wouldnt let me leave it at the front desk or any other place inside the theater. I was lucky my friend drove and let me leave the pack in their car or I would have been forced to miss the movie.Look, their property, their rules, I get it. But its hardly typical. They could at least have a place to leave your bags or the option of opening your bag for inspection.
Very nice theater. $8 for a large popcorn is pretty reasonable compared to $14 elsewhere. Fast service and a clean environment.
Excellent ambiance and very courteous staff. Whenever I visit Seattle, I never miss an opportunity to watch a movie in this cinema hall. Surrounded by a very good shopping mall, this place is worth visiting.
This was a great theater, in a beautiful part of the city. I love visiting Bellevue, and this theater only added to my enjoyment of my visit. Their tickets are fairly priced, compared to other nearby cinemas, and the staff were friendly and helpful (they even let me bring my Starbucks coffee in). The theaters themselves, were clean and well payed out, and the seats were COMFORTABLE LEATHER. The surround sound was nothing to write home about though, being as the two (non-IMAX) theaters I was in, didn’t have Dolby Atmos surround sound sound, or anything of the sort. Overall, mostly because the elegant and convenient location, I would recommend this theater, if your looking for a movie in the Downtown Bellevue area.
Beautiful theater. The Reserve is the place to go. Adults only (no obnoxious teens/ kids thumping chairs, or babies crying), can get a decent mixed drink or surprisingly good food for a decent price for Bellevue.Theater seating is very very nice. Heated, clean seats, and unobtrusive staff.
The location was nice. Never been to the cinema before, but I had expected at least a few smiles on the staff faces, could have been more pleasant. No line at the time we went around 10 p.m. I watched Star wars with my daughter of 12 years. Was bit in a rush so I cannot vouch for complete cleanness since I did not have to use the restroom. Not far from the Hyatt and fairly close to the cheese factory.
Not recliner seats. Why? No thank you.
Cant give the full 5 stars without recliner seats! But this theater is really nice. Very professional staff, and I love how big this place is.
Good customer service and comfortable chairs with leg room to spare. Popcorn is awesome and comes with one free refill. Who doesnt like that? Plenty of free parking in the garage.
Excellent in and out. Evening show parking ended unfree after 8 pm. Screen was flawless. Sound was high quality
One of the best movie screen in Seattle area. Great crowd, excellent restaurants and bowling arena in this complex
Tickets cost is a bit high but good quality service of food and movie! Also at a great location!
I don’t get the point of a no-backpack rule. At least offer lockers to keep the backpack away if you’re not going to allow it inside.Okay experience otherwise. Average theatre.
Very good cinema hall. Enjoyed watching movies here. Been. Regular customer for the last 3 months.comfotable seating and spacious movie house
I prefer Cinemark Lincoln square for its flexibility and streamlined process of booking movie tickets and the shows. I recommend it for everyone.
Great theater with wide variety of movies from different languages and a diverse concession stand. Convenient parking too.
My girlfriend was sick and had some warm water and medicine to keep her from coughing stored in her backpack. We had been wanting to watch Frozen 2 for some time and we’re super busy, but finally had an opportunity to go watch. When we finally got to the movie theater after ubering over, they told us that we had no choice but to either put the bag back in our car or to leave the theater. They deemed her as not “sick” enough to warrant the bag. Don’t come here if you don’t want to suffer from very rude customer service.
Nice theatre and seats. They have a bag policy and other rules before entering the theater, so be sure to check that out before going. We had to take our bags back to our car.
The nice thing about Cinemark Lincoln Square is that they also have kiosks that supplement the main ticket booth. It helps move things along faster when the crowds get bigger. Once inside, things arent too different from a typical movie theatre. Theres the concession stand with a large variety of snacks, drinks, and food in general. The bathrooms are scattered all over and they are also clean. The individual theaters are also fairly clean, or as clean as they can get in a dark room with limited staff for cleaning services. Underground parking available. Dont forget to get your parking ticket validated at the customer service desk!
The guy at the counter was very helpful. The snack bar is stocked with a wide variety of snacks (for a movie theater). The screen was large and seats comfortable.
I like the theater the vibes in there are nice. Lots of movies you can watch there. Needs to be a reclining chair in one of the theater rooms
This theater is cozy and has numerous snack choices--bit pricey compared with other local theatres though.
On the third floor of Lincoln Square North, this is the standard theater, not the dine in which is in Lincoln Square South but run by Cinemark as wel. Pretty standard theater with multiple screens, this one will often show Indian films. The concession selection is standard, but they have gelato as well. Evening shows will allow people to select the actual seats they want so they dont have to go early, but day shows are open seating.
Disgusting Food Service area. I come to this theater around noon on the weekends. The food service counter is absolutely disgusting - it looks like the floor hasn’t been swept in months and never actually cleaned. The machines and counter have gunk all over them. It looks like nobody in this place knows how to pick up a rag to even wipe a counter. No way this place could pass an inspection - if it does it’s because someone is getting paid off.
Nice theater but when I went in excited to watch a movie which I have been waiting for long time, they said that they have a no bag policy. They should have lockers to support this policy. What will people who are coming from office directly do!
If the notions of business class and movie theater were to be combined into a single venue, youd probably end up with something like Cinemark Reserve Lincoln Square. I was able to get some soft-opening tickets and had a pleasant experience. The seats are spacious, leather, and can be reclined. Theres a definite sense of grouping to the seats, implying that couples are a target market segment. The food was surprisingly nice, dashing the usual expectations of a movie theater. The dishes I had were Sriracha Chicken Bites and a Bistro Salad w/ Chicken. Liquor and wine are also available here. I stuck with water, but the dishes above would set you back $22, for scale.Much like private box seating at a game, in some regards, the movie may become secondary to the actual experience. Im curious enough to try it again though.
Hard to find park. Very very hard. When I got the entrance, I was told backpack is not allowed for no reason. I already bought the ticket and had the backpack with me. The parking was far away plus its not safe to leave a backpack on the car. Bellevue is not a safe place.I had to throw away the ticket for that reason.
Great place to watch a movie the only problem is the theaters are little bit small
Edit: the online support for the cinema was much more helpful. Waiting for resolution.Sorry, had a horrible experience today. My wife is pregnant in first trimester, had sudden nausea on smell of popcorn after entering. The show was at 9:30, we came in late around 9:45 PM today (to skip the advertisements). We asked for a reschedule, staff didnt have the courtesy, showed us a refund policy booklet, said its not policy. Could have been more accommodating. We left anyways. Seating could have been bit more comfy. Hence, -1
Good movie experience
Great theater in a great location. Easy to have dinner at one of the restaurants and then hit a movie, just park and an easy walk.
What could have been an enjoyable experience was greatly dimmed by long wait lines for refreshments (only 2/6 registers were open!) and the imposition of having bags checked + bag size limitations. Well probably visit another theater next time.
They are pretty strict about the size of bags but dont have locker rooms to store them
Its a lovely place. The seats arent very comfortable. Sound is good. Parking and traffic are terrible.
The seats are very uncomfortable and cramped. I felt like I was in the middle seat on an airplane. Almost every other theatre in the area has more comfortable seats. I will never go back.
Wish they had a variety in popcorn.
A nice modern theater. Ticket prices are in line with the nice atmosphere.
Overall a nice, dependable movie theatre. You can go here frequently without any surprises. Lots of international movies (many Indian movies) to watch here. Love their slushie. Seats can be better.
Beautiful place. Awesome staff. Their price is great. BUT they have a no backpack policy. I do understand, but would be great if they had lockers or some place where I could leave my stuff.
Feel like I must post this review after a recent fire alarm incident at the cinemas. The evac was done very professionally and I do want to point that out but there was still confusion on where people went and exited out, a better coordination was required. After about 30 min, we were all allowed in and the movies began. But for some reason the lights kept turning on inside the theater and that was extremely annoying.
Came here to see the Lion King because we had gift cards. Surprisingly the food was not outrageously overpriced like other theaters. Our experience was very pleasant!
I have a family of 5 so its always gonna be a little pricy to get in($50-80 give or take) but the movie theatre is decent, good concession options, some employees seem burnt out but overall I would bring family here and enjoy a nice film!
Cozy place for a night out movieSeats very comfortable and much room for my legs
Nice theater that have the newest animate movie every time.
Doesnt allow backpacks. Sprang that on me when I walked in the door, now I have to miss a one night only 40th anniversary screening because they wont let me watch it. Maybe Ill take my business elsewhere until I get another chance to see it in theaters in ten years.
Great experience!! The theater was very clean and the seats were super comfortable. Would definitely go again
They don’t allow any backpacks, and does not provide any storage. The only offer is that “we can give you refunds” . Excuse me? After work, you rush all the way back to catch your favorite movie at 6:30, then just because of your work backpack - they do not let you in. And tell you only choice is to go back home to put it back or put it in your car - 10 mins before it starts (we did not drive). And there is no storage around. At least provide some storage options if you do not Allow it, or just search the bag if for security concern, there are so many workarounds, why just turn your customer out??Super bad experience, don’t understand why their management don’t care about this BIG issue that affects a lot of people. Loved this cinema originally, after these bad experience, not anymore.
They Welcome you nicely and the food is great the chairs are comfortable and the workers are nice and patient
The seats are super comfy, and the staff is really friendly and responsive. The food is good. I wish there was a better beer selection, especially since Henrys is directly across from the entrance. Its great for a long movie!
Its a very good theatre. Leg room is a bit limited. Ample Parkings but its not free during the day time. If you can get first 5 row seats, its a good viewing experience. Its accessible.
Theater is relatively new with 16 screens including lIeMAX. Many shows are reserved seating which is nice. Seats are comfortable. Sounds system is great. Stadium seating allows for good viewing. Easy to buy tickets online or through the app. Only thing Im not sure about is parking. I often go late at night or on the weekend when parking is free. If you go during the day on a weekday, I think there is a parking fee. I wish that was made clearer. Overall Ive had great experiences at the Cinemark Bellevue.
Great location inside the Lincoln square. The theater rooms are quite large and the screens are big.No reclining seats which is a bummer. There is no way to use my points card at the ticket kiosks and I have to go back in the line and have someone add the points. Also one time we looked up movie times on google but when we got there we were told that the movie was removed to make space for something else. Weird.I like this place but Id like to see some improvements on the three points above.
Good place to watch movies and great ambience. Good family hangout place.
Beware of the no bag policy! They dont even have lockers and dont even let us keep them anywhere with them. Problem is that policy should have been mentioned somewhere on the ticket or during the booking process but it is not. You will be totally helpless if you take an Uber/lyft/public transit directly from work. The representative at the counter even refused to reimburse the ticket as show already started in the mean time.
Cleaner than a hospital. The nachos are worth the price of admission!
I like this theater, cant say I love it because they have a no bag policy, without offering alternatives like storage or bag check. Its a silly policy considering the fact theyre a shopping mall movie theater...people will have bags... I took the bus here and went shopping, got turned away, had no car so I missed the film. I never will forget that experience.
This is my go-to theater, taking one star off because their popcorn is not good! I wish it is more fresh and buttery.
Its a perfectly decent theatre. Its inside the mall, so mall parking is the easiest way to get to it. Ticket prices and concession prices are as expensive as any theatre. Easy enough to get to the actual screening rooms. The amount of space for seats isnt much, as to be expected. But the seats are comfortable enough, and viewing is good as well as the sound. Good experience each time I come here.
Lots of movies and free parking. Seats are pretty new.
Movie was good ! Farewell. EveryoneWas nice and place was clean . Very busy! We used valet paring. Great idea!Very nice man there!!!
Seats are pretty comfy, but they need more butter on the popcorn.
Nice size screen, good sound comfortable chairs, and good popcorn.
Great theater. I love that I can reserve a seat before I get there. Great snack selection.
Staff is nice, consession line can be a little confusing. Big Indian community here. Could be a little cleaner.
Great comfy, reclining seats. Good picture and sound quality. The place needs a face lift throughout however. Staff could be a tad more professional but overall good experience.
Nice place with awesome sound system and chairs.
Good experience, but go to the 21+ instead for comfort.
No reserved seating on the Thursday we went & the seats not as nice as our home city theater. Theater was clean & parking garage convenient
I see movies at least once a week and this theater specifically is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had... I would not recommend this theater.
I like this place. One of my goto movie spots. Large popcorn for family of 4 is 8 and some change but you get a refill so it is more than enough for 2 adults and two kids
I like this place. Big and shiny and well decorated. The seats and the general quality of things is great. The mall where the cinema is located at is also great. Lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants around (if you want to do something after the movie). Not too many things can go wrong when you go to this place.
No reclining seats. Small theaters. The Cinemark Reserve is in the building right next door and its wonderful.
Its a nice theatre. A little hard to locate using maps being that there are 2 locations technically close to each other. Make sure youre at the correct one before you wait for your showing! I had to go across the sky bridges because I was directed to the wrong one.
Great selection, Go on Tuesday nights, because with their free rewards program movies are half price, plus free parking in connecting grages
A reasonably large theater in downtown bellevue but it has its pros and consPros:it is reasonably close to my house and to the center of the city making it an easy place to get to and to see a majority of moviesconcessions are reasonably varied with choices ranging from pizza and hotdogs to the generic popcorn and soda (with candy bits) but an interesting addition being Gelato (an icecream like confection that is creamier and smoother than icecream)can and does host Fathom Events events making it a reasonably close place to see unique contenttypically tuesdays are 5$ making this location a first choice for cheap matineedoes have 2 IMAX cinemas (15 and 16)Cons:3 to 5 movies in the theater tend to be Bollywood films reducing the ammount of standard contentseats are standard stadium unlike the location a couple blocks south which has plush luxury reclining seatsmost times movies are played in the smaller theaters save for reasonably rare exceptions for a couple placed in the IMAX screensno cola choose your own soda dispensersIn conclusion: A solid place to watch movies but not a premier experiencea decent place to see movies at standard prices and sometimes cheaplyprices seem to match the experience you will get (which is a decent but not excellent one)if you are shopping in the mall nearby this is an easy place to stop and kill a couple hours for about 20 to 30$ (for one person)
Almost everything was great. Middle of the day showing and there was only one concession person working. Would have loved snacks, but the ten deep line would have had miss the preview s. Too bad!
It was good but its kind of cold
They dont allow you to take backpacks inside the theatre for weird reasons. So make sure you do not carry a backpack. The seats are not the best and the front rows are too close to the screen. The place is clean and you can enjoy a movie with a proper seat.
Seats a bit snug but great place and the mall is nice
We booked the tickets online in advance, had a problem scanning the bar code in the email confirmation because the scanner was conveniently located above a brick terminal that is fixed?? why? whats the point of having scan option if you cannot scan the bar code?- Complaining because to input the confirmation number, we have to input like 20 numbers and start over if you mistype- Fix the scanner locations! another issue I had was apparently there are two Cinemark within the same block or two? We had to basically find the correct one and we were late to the movie! besides all that :P the theater was clean, seats are comfortable and pricing was as any other theater for the tickets and the food/drinks/popcorn.
Wont allow almost empty backpack, have no place to check it. Offered to have them look through it. Women with larger purses allowed to enter. Nonsense policy, attributed to saftey. Wont be back.
Great place to watch a nice movie, again and again.
Over 21 cinema experiences. Possibility to get alcohol & food served up until last 20 minutes of the movie. Dont forget to bring your ID they do check. Only disappointing thing is the quality of the popcorn!
I love the comfort of this theater. Club members get great prices on tickets. For is good and cheaper for members too!
This theater is on the top floor of the building and is adequately sized considering that. The seating is comparable to the nearby crossroads theater in terms of the reclining seats. As far as I’m aware of this transition has been made in most of their seating but not all. This theater gets a five star review for their film selection though. They show foreign films and anime releases that are quite rare. It is one of the very few theaters outside of Seattle that does this.
