Nice to sit & chil esp.summer time . And the shopping places and coffee around this area.
Such amazing history in a very old fashioned & interesting city
Worth going to. Poignant and interesting.
I walked here from the aquarium. The details on the statue are amazing
To say its a emotional place is an understatement. Simply standing there and reading some of the quotes of the survivors, makes it very sobering moment. I am glad that Baltimore is committed to educating people about the horrific nature of the Holocaust and more importantly the resilience and bravery of those who survived.
Nice memorial and good reflection, but someone was using it as a bathroom room on the right side.
Beautiful memorial, but i wish it was located somewhere that more people could see it!!
There wasnt much to it but glad its there.
Beautiful place but need to add more to it in few of history
We visit this place last year. It was very fun to do it in a spring day when it’s not so hot.
They have trash cans but litter was everywhere but. Lol
Holocaust Park is not a destination park. If you are in the area, I suggest stopping by for 15 minutes. Seizing the opportunity to remember those impacted by this tragic part of history is important. The art work is moving and interesting. The park area is not clean and needs improving in terms of landscaping and benches. The large homeless community often makes use of these pocket parks in Baltimore.
Nice place of comfort and remembrance for our fallen heroes.
Amazing site to see our past history
A nice little memorial to remind us of what happens when people sit idle and let those with nefarious agendas have their way. However, it was a shame to see so much trash behind the monument. It looked like homeless people used it as a storage depot. It was also apparent that people or animals had relieved themselves beneath the edges of the East side of the monument. It had a strong smell of urine and there was some feces.
To many homeless congregate here to feel safe
When I visit this area for night life, for there are many fun things to do in this area for adults, I will stop and sit in this park before I leave. Sometimes its overwhelming when I read the monument, but it makes me stronger.Im not Jewish, gay, disable, or old. Im just mindful and compassionate about people. As a man, this monument validates how I stand.
Very powerful and moving. Artistically interesting and a very good reminder of what can go wrong in any society.
Small park, that has a tremendous amount of meaning, extremely thought provoking. The sculpture of the tortured souls is spine shivering.
Prime downtown land used to promote a victim mentality among civilians concerning a foreign matter. You will not find any city blocks devoted to the 10 million victims of King Leopold in Baltimore.Besides the poor propaganda campaign, its basically unused except for homeless people. Head here if you are a victim of life and need to be reminded.
Beautiful memorial
Good Place To Take Kids To Explain History.
Never Again. This is an understanding of what take place, because it happened before and it can happen again. This is lesson that we must take it seriously in the future.
I would gladly volunteer to clean this place up to revive the solemn respect that a memorial like this deserves. It should be an oasis, not the local garbage dump. Aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!
Happened upon this memorial. Was beautiful in its simplicity which truly drove home the atrocity.
Ideal place to sit and think well
A powerful reminder of the stark cruelty that was inflicted upon an innocent people.
I would ignore the reviews stating its a nice park. This park is in terrible shape as its rarely maintained. It looks like it was once great but its definitely run down now. To make matters worse, its located to an empty community college and its become a haven for homeless people to sleep in. If youre there, look at the brown dark brown building surrounded by a black fence. Youll notice the fence is heavily damaged and cut open. Thats where the homeless go in and out to sleep in. A tourist attraction? Hardly.
Watch your kids here, junkies hang out here and shoot up drugs here!! Theres old hyperdermic needles laying around and empty drug vials laying every were!! Its nice to know that are hard earned tax dollars goes to the city and they cant get the drugs under control or at least clean this filfy city up!!
Dirty, and city upkeep fails horribly
Its a nice place to sit and do your drugsmy friends and I come here to do just that
Its a lovely dedication, wish there was just more attention paid to the litter.
Nice place to sit and think
History and what our ancestors went through.....it was almost....I felt cold even in the heat wave.
Homeless center for drug addicts right up the street at “ helping up mission” makes this place sadly extremely dangerous, just like most all of Baltimore.
Reminder of a dark period in world history. Tastefully constructed.
Awesome place
Very moving tribute to lives lost.
Needs updating
Small but affecting and memorable.
It is a beautiful monument that you pass going back and forth from the east to west side of Baltimore, It is a sad but gorgeous memorial that takes up almost a whole city block!
Rest in peace
Nice place to visit
Interesting for history
Beautiful
Need some questions time .
Never forget
Shame its right across from the ICE field office.
Amazingly tragic
Good
Everyone should visit
This place has special meaning to me not only did the Jewish faith experience persecution but Jehovahs Witnesses did as well right along with them.
Plenty of close proximity parking.
Makes you think
Located in downtown Baltimore City, near part of the Inner Harbor
Very moving memorial
Very impactful but has a habit of ruining your day.
Nice place to visit
It is moving, but sadly they had to fence it off to keep the homeless from using it as a bathroom.
