This temple is good to visit. Also has kitchen which serves delicious food.
It is really nice to have a temple near by. The architecture and all idols of GODs are really pretty. The way they decorate them is amazing. They have really delicious Indian food at reasonable rate during Saturday and Sunday brunch time. They organize different events like free yoga and other theological lectures during weekends. It is good place to visit which inspires you to stay connected with your culture, faith and roots. New cultural center building is also very nice thought so now they can occupy more devotees during big festivals and events. The only downside is the parking issue during festivals or some occasions. All of the parking lot, old and new everything is usually occupied during big festivals and we have to park far away in private residential streets near by and walk and sometimes I’ve seen cops giving tickets to people who have parked in near by residential streets.
Good hygiene measures with temp check social distancing and tasty food as well!
One of the best hindu temple I have visited so far in the USA. You get positive vibration when you enter the shrine. Clean and vedic chantings all over. And they test every one for temperature using the app.
Although the temple is good. The service of the temple and the people are worst, too commercial and money minded, during COVID period probably a month back when i took my aunt and came to temple to visit godess lakshmi, the door where the pooja would be performed was closed, so we took the darshan of the remaining gods and sat at the entrance for a while we were told due to COVID we cant wait inside for more than 15 min only if we take the archana ticket or any other ticket we are allowed to sit long. A lady who took archana pooja ticket was allowed to sit in front of godess lakshmi for more than 40 min continuously and we were asked to go out and wait and come back for the laskshmi pooja door to be open later. While we were ready to go out suddenly the person who sits as the ticket counter and rudely spoke with my aunt not to come back and that we should not durshan the goddess lakshmi without ticket. He was talking to us with loud voice and i did not like the discrimination which they made to follow the COVID 19 situation rules only to us and wait out of temple and come back while the other lady who took the ticket was not questioned any thing and was allowed to wait. People come all the way from far making time from busy work day schedule just to have dharshan of God and if we are miss treated my the people of the temple because of commercial values, this is very bad behavior towards people and a disgrace to hindu temple society. I strongly believe if rules for COVID 19 are to be followed, every one who visit the temple should be treated equally and no one have the right to ask the visitors to get out and to come back for 2nd time dhurshan if the goddess lakshmi pooja door is closed and that also on Friday which is primarily considered auspicious day for lakshmi pooja .
Want peace ??. Just go and spend an hour. Ofcourse comes with delicious food too!!
Nice temple for all. It also has a derasar for Jain people.
I don’t know what to review about Temple. One of my favorite place where I’ll feel good from inside. People there are nice and friendly. I also like their food court on Weekends.
One of the best Hindu temple I have visited in USA. It has some positive vibes. You can definitely feel that energy once you enter the Temple. Staff is very helpful and will greet you with smiling face. And the eating place they are running is just awesome. You can’t miss this food.
I was visiting my family in St. Louis and went to this temple one weekend. Coming from India, it is really nice to see such a spacious place with ample parking space and lots of greenery. You have wheelchair friendly parking. The temple itself is so big with so many deities. You can also buy food at the basement. There a dedicated area for leaving your footwear and your coats/jackets. There is also a small area to wash your feet with a hot air dryer! There are clean restrooms as well. Its a great place to visit with family.#localguides #spirituality #hindutemple
There is no such place which brings solace to your mind and body and that is The Hindu Temple. Hindu Temple is one of the attraction for St Louis. Build in very large space with ample parking space. From inside, Temple is huge and probably every Devi and Devta idols displayed for worship. Pandits are very friendly and laddu Prasad is something liked by everyone including kids. Hindu temple recently expanded to build new building. Since photography inside is not allowed and i respect that, therefore I am showing outside pics only.
What a spectacle! Must visit for all Hindus and Sanatan dharmis and for all who want to learn about Hinduism
Good quality food on Saturday and Sunday afternoons
Very nice and peaceful temple to worship. There are many deities inside the temple. Must try the food at the temple, its very delicious.
The best place in St Louis to immerse in to devotion. During the festivals, the management always do their best in terms of organizing events and handling crowd. The canteen serves the Indian comfort food which is delicious
I visit the temple quite often. Temple is well constructed and has good parking space.Canteen is open on Saturday and Sunday. Food at the temple is affordable and great.
If you like to pray and go to Temple this is good place, you can find your favorite God and goddess here. They give prasadam at 8 pm they also do any specific Pooja if you want to do ( eg for car Pooja they take about 35$, Pooja thali they will provide you with flower, coconut, kumkum etc you dont have to take anything with you)You will see many Indians in Indian dresses and feel like you are in India. You can also give Prasad made by you or sweets as Prasad in the temple.
Temple is good and the Food court attached to the temple has tasty food available during the weekends noon time.
Marvelous temple, You can get veg. food there in morning, a side building to a temple. Love it.
The architecture of Temple is awesome!! Its peaceful and relaxing. It was my second visit to this temple. I feel everyone must take a chance to visit and know about Indian mythology and culture.
The architecture of the temple is really good. Its peaceful and very relaxing. Its a place where you can find almost all Hindu gods under single roof. The temple is peaceful, neat and well maintained. A must visit place.
Cleanliness in the temple is good and programs available there are good. Food/Prasadam section is good though you have to stand in the line a bit. It will be crowded during festival times obviously. Parking space is good
Friendly and helpful people
Beautiful temple.. very underrated I must add.. To all my Indian friends, do make it a point to visit this temple if you are in and around st.louis area.. you will find another Pittsburgh/Aurora temple..
The leadership of this community sent a letter to Muslim community lending support for atrocities on minorities in India.Hats of for showing such genuinely empathy!!
You can visit all the gods at once. The prasaad at this place is awesome especially curd rice and pulihora.
Food is bad. Items are very costly. Average food quality, but expensive prices.
Good ambience... Very nicely done interior... Lots of room to sit and pray...plus good food on Saturday and Sunday
Love this temple. Lots of religious activities. With the addition of new building, the facilities have become better.
Great place to find peace, purohiths are well versed and educated in Vedas. Believe in your self and believe in God, you will find success in your journey
Wonderful temple. During the last two decades there were several major upgrades. You can get food for nominal price on Saturday and Sunday from the new community center. Idli, vada and pongal on Sunday and upma pasarattu on Saturday are popular combos.
Must visit for all Indians. Wonderful place inside balaji temple, sai baba, jain temple, ayaapa swami, navgraha is also there. They conduct different puja like every purnima satyanarayan puja, every Thursday sai baba bhajan .and other events too .call and ask for other specific puja.Weekends afternoon meals are available.
Very clean temple, good tasty food quality is amazing with less price, my favorite is sambar
Beautiful temple... Food was tasty too..
Small temple compare to Bridgewater Temple but really nice... 1 star less cos the temple cafeteria is only open on weekends.
The temple is big enough and the architecture is simply amazing. Looks like an actual temple similar to the ones in India.
A Divine place to Visit again and again.
Lovely place. Felt calm, Devine.
Temple folks are becoming more and more aggressive over the years. i was there for a pooja for Navratri, end of pooja we came in for prasad, i asked my parents and kids to sit on at a table, so that i can get the food. lady at the prasad distribution is saying we already gave you a plate...if temple management is reading this, no one wants to eat more than one plate, we are at a temple, no one wants to cheat you for a plate of food.i think the temple is becoming rude because of the monopoly it has. i wish there are more temples in Saint Louis. so that we can have better service.
Peaceful place to come and calm your mind
Took a group of students here for a field trip. Amazing architecture and beautiful inside as well. Jack gave our tour and did a great job explaining the beliefs of Hindus to our students.
Excellent place. Well maintained, calm and peaceful. Great food on weekends.
Witness peace of mind there and they have very good paid breakfast
Peaceful and beautiful
Good serene atmosphere for prayer...for all..love thy neighbor..peace!
This temple is huge and also way too posh. Lot of gods in the temple though.Only 4 stars because they were only giving out ladoos as prasad on ganesh chathurthi. Like if I had to pay for prasadam, why cant I get a proper prasadam food?
A peaceful location for your praying needs. Its a huge complex with friendly priests.
Great Temple and separate dining area. Vadais and Dosais are awesome at the Dining hall.
Great place to find peace. And also great place to experience Hindu culture at the best.
This is one of the best temples which I have seen in North America. The newly built community center adjacent to the temple is a gem.
Its is exquisite Hindu Temple in St. Louis. It is immense in size and always filled with lots of prayers. They have very big parking on site. They have many in-house priests who always ready to help people for special pooja. They celebrate mostly all Hindu festivals with proper management. They have many statues of god. The inside environment is peaceful. I love to meditate my mind inside the temple. They have Canteen at the basement with varsities of Indian dishes. I love their Tea. I go Hindu temple mostly on festival time. Its good place to go for Hindus.
Lucky to have near to my apartments
Lovely place for worship . And very friendly priest.
A surreal experience, the prasad is a must.
Awesome experience!! Temple is quite big and very well maintained. We were visiting St. louis and had a chance to visit, but blessed to be there. You can also visit temple for Mahavira Jain and Mata kanyaka Parameshwari.
Oh! My! Goodness!!! If ever youre in Baldwin and wish to see a masterpiece, this is amasing!!! Be respectful and ask permission to take photographs and ask where you can and where you cannot go.
Nice ambience...cleanly temple..gives a feel of Indian temples especially the ones we see in south india
Awesome Place. You will defianately feel relax.
Rejuvenates me and I strongly experience great mental peace.
Donation! Donation! Donation! they will ask you so many times, they will not let you have peace. A great place but management is spoiling it. They will sell food on above market price and will ask Donation for cafeteria LOGIC!!! i had donated anyway what i had to without anyone asking for it.i bought food from cafeteria and the moment i was about take first bite, they had donation announcement, hhhh food didnt go in so well.i am a PROUD Hindu and i would call this place Hindu business center of religious belief. This place is to go, watch and come back. Dont let anybody make business out of your belief. Thank you for reading.
Probably the best designed temple in USA I saw
Beautiful temple... food is also very tasty.
A place where you can feel like finding peace
Massive architecture! Well maintained and organized
Weekend brunch at the temple is really good. Temple is really spacious and they are expanding even more which is good. Can get really crowded during festivals.
Temple is peaceful. In weekend brunch is available . Preists are friendly, can help us keeping muhurthas and do Poojas.
Quiet place for praying for Hindus or Oriental meditation.
Temple is beautiful and has some good priests. They do celebrate all festivals and perform puja in a grand way. This is a place of worship and people come here for peace of mind. However the management is arrogant and obnoxious. They do not treat people with respect. Even a simple question if answered is in a really rude manner. Spoils your day after a peaceful visit.Lately after every puja and when you come in and out they are literally forcing people donations/fund raising- which is getting annoying. It has become a place of business and losing its sanctity.
Beautiful temple. Great food in the temple canteen.
This temple is quite big and place is so peaceful
Its nice Hindu temple, you can have lunch on weekends. They people also arrange various type of pooja for new home and cars etc.
Exquisite, beautiful & elegant...absolutely lovely. Jai shree Krishna Hare Krishna
Really cool! Enjoyed my visit very much.
Its a beautiful temple that givr positive vibrations !
Peaceful, Serene and clean. Multiple deities, several archanas and poojas everyday. Jain temple also in a corner. Very good services... The tiffin centre is a bonus. Volunteers can serve in the tiffin centre post prior arrangements. To the meditation focused early mornings are the best. Weekend activities for kids and adults.... Special services on auspicious days... Beautiful sounds and surroundings ... Nice Aura
It was good and peaceful place
Very nice temple with all important deities and all important Hindu festivals are celebrated and Poojas are so systematically performed. The in-house priest help us in performing the required Pooja in our home with just prior booking and it is done with utmost satisfaction and dedication. Great place for weekend brunch and it so tasty. Only thing to consider is Car parking on festive days which is very difficult to accommodate - please visit in early hours on those days alone.
Place of worship for Hindus. Clean and beautiful.
U can feel an amazing vibration at this temple
Excellent but the kitchen staff is rude and I suggest stay away from them
