It was a running race start and finish area for me, it was great, plenty of parking space, porta potties and space. Running trail is a 100 yards away along the canal. This was during COVID.

Had a great time tickets are very cheap regular ball park food took a tour of the place very old ballpark was told it was built in 1941 that ballpark has so much Potential just wish they can clean up the ballpark stadium

This is an inexpensive and fun place to catch a baseball game. The stadium isnt very big, so you can get up close to the players. Parking is close and easy. Check the web site for fun give away days and Friday Fireworks. Lots of parking. Seating is adequate. The park is well cared for. The announcer even welcomed me! And they have some very engaged fans and the ball club is doing quite well. Its a pleasant way to spend the evening.

Historic stadium... but it is in shambles. The city of Bakersfield should be ashamed.

Wonderful experience! Staff was tremendously helpful and friendly and the quality of play on the field was first-rste. It was great to see players play for the love of the game and not for the almighty dollar. Would definitely recommend for all ages for a fun, inexpensive night out!

Nice atmosphere and family place. the only negative is the price is high and keeps going up every season. for just a hat and a shirt and have to still pay for pictures on top of that.

Love watching my grandson play ball.

The park has changed a bit. They took out some seating and moved things around. It doesnt seem to be well taken care of. I was to see it looking the way it is. Good prices in the snack bar though and some pretty darn good nachos.

Kids loved it. Put if you go take some chairs and water. Its on the field no were for parents to sit and watch.Everyone pays regardless if you jump.

Just finished Judgement Day Half Marathon (Series) here. A great location and ample space & seating for everyone. Had a blast.

The Bakersfield Train Robbers are based here...its always fun to watch the games with $1 beer on Monday nights during the season!!!

Great Ballpark. Its a very nice area with Batting Cages and Baseball Fields.

Parking a headache and some fields have no lights. Put overall nice park well maintained. Watch out for the red ants.

Great ol school ballpark. Lots of baseball history.

Been going here to watch my cousin ride in the bmx races.

Went on Fourth of July as advertised they were going to have for fireworks and when I got in they didnt have they were advertising that they werent going to have them that night I was disappointed

I find Sam Lynn to be very satisfactory. Great family atmosphere. Facility very clean, trees are very mature and shady. Great place to be!

Went tonight for the game and fireworks but very dissapointed that the ones in charge of the fireworks did a terrible job one 15 mins wait to see fireworks but when the fireworks started it wasnt over the ball field it was in the parking lot really think Sam Lynn ball park who operates the whole stadium should reconsider hiring new people for the fireworks smh

Its old, idiosyncratic and afternoon games mean the sun in your eyes, but thats all part of its charm.

Its been over 60 years for me since I last saw a game here. brought back lots of memories of how Baseball was made to be played. We could get right down next to the dugout and talk with the players. good to see that its held up all these years.
