Quiet little park in the middle of one of the coolest neighborhoods in town! Theres a decent sized field for relaxing, picnicking, or playing fetch with a dog but what I enjoyed most was strolling down the trails alongside the road and checking out all the amazing jaw-dropping houses! Inspires and motivates you to want to work hard and maybe have the opportunity to one day live in a neighborhood like this one!
What a lovely place to go for a hike! Nice and quiet, away from the Austin hubbub. There are a variety of trail options and the hills arent very steep so its a laid back hike. It was on a little dead end street so there was no set parking lot for it, be prepared to park on the street. Great place to take your kids for a walk. There was a sign that said no pets yet I saw a man there with his dog on a leash.I recommended checking it out if youre in the area and want to get back to nature!
Very nice and a good workout. Some trash throughout the park but overall fun. Great for kids to explore. Small area where there are fish and frogs.
Despite what Google says, this is not a dog park. Dogs are not allowed in this nature preserve and the city will issue a $500 fine for violations. In addition, there are bold coyotes who have attacked several dogs.
Sanity
This is a little piece of heaven in the urban jungle of south Austin.
