This is a great park to walk through. There is a side walk that takes you through a beautiful landscape of tall trees. Theirs a play ground and a hill that you can sled down when their is snow.

Great place to have a quiet picnic.

In the winter months, you can sled down Skinners Hill. The rest of the year, this location features the bandshell, a large playground, and a rentable building used for gatherings. This is the main location of the Independence day celebration and the fireworks display. Very well maintained and safe location.

Nice place to relax and listen to music if there is a band playing. Grew up around that area and have seen some good bands playing and practicing there.

We rented the Veterans Pavilion for our Family Reunion. It is such a nice place, and at a reasonable rate that we can afford it for a family event. It was $150 for the day, and we just had to remove our garbage and make sure it was cleaned up, then take the key back to the Park and Rec., and get your $100 deposit back.

Clean, nice place to sit and enjoy the day.

My family and I have participated in Church at the Park with Cornerstone Church and had a blast! We also came out to this park to see a Star Wars movie with the community. This area is well-kept, has a very nice playground for the kids, and plenty of picnic tables. During the winter, this is also the place to be when it comes to sledding (Skinners Hill is right next to the bandshell field area).

This location has seen better days. What looks like it was once a Thriving community interest has fallen into a state of disrepair, where dogs are not picked up after, and geese both make walking and playing a bit hazardous.
