I enjoy coming here to exercise. It’s very nice and peaceful and there’s a lot of wilderness and active people all over you. The inside is also very nice if you have kids or if you’re not adult and went to play basketball.

Weve visited this place since we were kids. The play ground is great, the basketball court in the back is shaded and nice. They have a huge field to play soccer, football or practice your baseball. Inside they have games in the main hall and tons of space to play rec sports. The staff has always been very nice to kids from the neighborhood and they offer different programs for families. Programs range from community sports to computer classes.

Great place for kids

Great tennis classes for all ages and skill levels here. Well maintained courts, excellent instructors, and good prices. Parking can get a little tight on the weekends, but plenty of on-street parking nearby.

We went to the free costume event for Halloween. The staff is friendly, and the facility is nice. There are tons of events that occurs here for all ages.

Great coaches. My skill level has improved and I am meeting new hitting buddies. Do book ahead for morning or evening courts, they fill up quickly.

Excellent place to play Basketball, play pool, or just chill out. The lady in the front desk is a sweetheart and the facilities are always clean.

Staff is very friendly and helpful.. My daughter had a great time playing soccer and her coaches Fred and Miguel) were AWSOME!!!! Will definitely be going back for more programs.

Not a bad place to shoot hoops or play ping pong. A nice service that Austin provides.

Im reviewing the space - its a park with 1 diamond and enough space for 2-3 more in the grass, its commonly used for kickball. You need a city permit if youre a league looking to use the field. The area can easily accommodate 4 games at once as its a completely open field. There are no restrooms but the rec center is usually open and lets kickballers use the facilities.

Has really cleaned up and nice to bring the kids to play and to practice.

I discovered this little gem quite by accident through a flier that came home with my little in the beginning of the school year with a listing of free classes. We went and checked it out and have been attending the break dancing class pretty regularly since September. Its fantastic. The teacher obviously dedicated and the facilities are well used. There are always kids in the gym playing, the staff Ive seen have been attentive and clearly care about the children, the environment is laid back and it feels like a family affair--comfortable. It is not a new facility and though well maintained it could use an infusion of cash, but that in no way diminishes its charm. There is a great park for children to play, tennis courts, ball fields, and trails I have yet to explore. I give it a thumbs up.

As mentioned by other the facility is free to Austin residents and the staff are nice and quick to answer my many questions. My daughter has volleyball practice here.
