This past weekend is the 3rd time in 2 years I have driven to this park and not been able to launch my boat. They dont have enough consideration to post on the website of anywhere else that ramp is closed. This past weekend I drove 3 hours round trip and lake 10 dollars to get into the park and ramp was closed...perfect conditions....I dont get it! People everywhere fishing and playing but boat ramp closed! RIDICULOUS!!!!
Great place for a picknick. Lake swimming and boating real close to the city
Great place for family and friends
Stephen Carney is reviewing the wrong location, this park is nowhere near Lake Travis or the Oasis. The other guy also seems confused because theres not much to see here. What youve got is steep entrance fees in return for mediocre fishing and lots of picnicking lawn. To the best of my understanding there arent even hiking opportunities, despite all the green on the map.EDIT5/15/2019: I stand corrected, theres some good fishing here. Theres plans in the works to put a lot of development into this park. At the moment it is feral and wild and hard to get to, but in twenty years this could be the park that everyone talks about.
An early morning walk in a peaceful location before the summer crowds arrive, try it youll like. My goal is 10,000 steps per day. Todays start was GREAT!
Beautiful, well kept park. We always enjoy our visits here.
I don’t mind paying to enter, but on real note if I can’t look to see how busy it is for me to fish then no I’m not going to give you my money .My non refundable money. What’s point.
This is an excellent place to spend the day. The landscape would cause an orgasm for the photographer in you. There is a volleyball court (without a net). Also you can bring your own boat.
The park is really meant for boaters and fishermen. There is a handicap access dock. Not much else here and its $10 to get in
Didnt know I had to pay 10 dollars
Nice
Its a beautiful place
Little beach set up in the heart of Austin at lake travis. Go to oasis after for a cooler.
