Voting here was fast and easy! I didnt have to touch a thing with my finger protector on. I had never been to this facility before, and its gorgeous, what a gem in our community!

Love the trails and biodiversity. Wish people would try harder to keep the park clean though ️ theres trash cans everywhere but people just leave their garbage wherever they feel like

Lucky Austin residents! The Gus Rec Center is one excellent and popular facility. FREE use of a nice gym, locker facilities, decent workout area inside and a unique outdoor health workout station area, kiddo area, walking paths, picnic tables in a canopied area, 2 table tennis tables with keen advanced level players, a Senior Garden, and soccer fields managed by caring friendly staff. Other suburbs only dream of having a facility such as this. One suggestion to upgrade the table tennis area (improve the table tennis table Wow!!To beat all, the GUS is only a mile away from another fantastic FREE community center - the Asian American Resource Center. Great artwork and programs and lectures for seniors. Austin just knows the needs of todays active seniors.

Very creative summer activities for the kids 3Years and up I believe. And they have sports throughout the year, I think its 40$/ sport and 20$/sport if you apply and qualify for financial assistance. Its a great center to keep the kids active

Good park for walking your dog or spending with the family. Walking trails are real nice as is the gym inside the center.

Love this center. The playgrounds are covered and cool, the gym is large, the gardens are impeccable.

Love it. Everything my child and I need under one roof. Camps, afterschool care, sports, workout room. The staff is always so sweet. I love that I chose this rec center!

I like so much this because every Monday and Wednesday you can go and join the dancing class for free. Totally recommend

Gus always helps me out when ever I have a question or need help on things...if anyone was to ever ask me of a place that would be good for kids to enjoy them sleds and be safe at to play it would be Gus Garcia Recreation Center

This rec center is so great! it offers an extensive gravel trail system, a community garden, a gym, basketball court, playground, computer lab, a bicycle shop and much more! The staff are so friendly and helpful youd think they were your friends!

Behind the recreation center, cute climbing and spinning park! Trails and exercise equipment.

I love working out here during my lunch hour!

The place has been renovated a few years back and it looks great. Very nice City facility.

My daughter is very happy with the day camp program offered by the city of Austin and so am I! Friendly staff, she has had a blast the whole time.

Just need to work on their parking. Overall great recreation center.

Excellent event family friendly great staff

Horrible. They lied to me twice and the manager was extremely rude. Theres more to it but thats the main part of it. It should be absolutely free to the public without them signing anything. That punk manager try to sound like he was better than me.

This is super close to my house and my son and I come here to practice football.

Staff are helpful and really friendly, they make you feel welcome as soon as you step through the doors.
