As a newbie to golf, I was in the market for some beginner clubs. Coach was amazing! He presented some options and made some great recommendations. Plus, he was very knowledgeable and had the greatest personality! He made buying my clubs fun!! Definitely recommend him & Golf Galaxy!

Great staff! I needed a starter set of sticks for my girlfriend and wanted guidance but didnt want to be mauled by some salesguy. We found the perfect guy at Golf Galaxy....Coach. He took the time to show her how to swing and then we bought a great new set and he suggested a used Driver and used Putter. Talk about doing the right thing. Since then ive bought a new set of Taylors 790s, bags and utility clubs. This is my store and Coach is my golf tech.

Went there so our 15 could get fitted for new clubs. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Don did a great job helping us out. Maybe his name was Dan. Hell I dont remembe. Nonetheless he was very helpful

Had a fitting today with Jason. He was knowledgeable, charismatic, and friendl . He fit my wife for irons paying close attention to what she was feeling and hitting. He knocked it out of the park a d never one time pressured us for a specific product. 100% happy with the experienc .

Love the inventory and prices but extremely rude staff. I just came from there after being berated by one of their employees. I must not have heard him ask how my day was, which apparently set him off when I didn’t reply. Raising his voice demanding to know how I was. It was intimidating and shocking. I wish I got his name to warn the rest of you. Appalling. I’ve had good experiences with the staff before but beware of the occasional hostile employee.

Dans putter fitting was incredibly informative, and I walked away with a stick I feel extremely confident in! Get this done before you spend $500 on a new driver, you use your putter on every hole!

Went in to take a look at the used driver selection and didnt really know what to expect. Scott took the time to talk me through a few options and set me up over on the in-store driving range. I took a few hacks on my own, getting a feel for each club. Then Scott went way above and beyond, helping break down my swing and give a few suggestions on some tweaks. Left with a solid club and will definitely go back when my game justifies getting more upgrades.

Just finished fitting for my new set of Titleist AP1s! The staff at Golf Galaxy was helpful, friendly, and professional. Multiple people assisted me during my visit, but Jason Z spent the most time with me and he was amazing. He did a great job of mixing up options and adjustments during the blind fitting to keep my bias out of the equation. I will definitely be going back here and no where else for all future golf needs. Thanks Jason and Golf Galaxy!

Coach hooked me up with a new M Series driver which was what I was looking for. We hit the sim to get the right fit. I enjoyed the customer service and over all experience. Definitely 5 Star service!

Very judgmental place. Went with the intention to buy a driver and was kicked off the simulator for trying to change the club on the computer. Won’t come back. My brother and I were given a lecture in front of a family he was in the middle of helping. The bald 40 year old guy with the little man complex should be nicer when dealing with customers. Lost my business for life

Vince helped me find the perfect driver fit for me, which ended up being the Ping G400 max. He knew exactly how to dial in the hosel settings to perfect spin rate/ launch angle, etc.After putting the driver in my cart, Tanner helped me find a good wedge and spin rate questions for that. I didn’t feel rushed at all.These guys know their stuff. I know customer service and they nailed it. The cashier, Ashlyn was smiling and helpful. Thanks!

Very bad experience at Golf Galaxy today.I went in to decide between a new set of Titleist AP1 or AP3 irons. They seemed to be very busy, but I was able to get the attention of a sales guy and get a 7 iron of each club to test. The range/simulator was open so I proceeded to hit. I then encountered another sales guy. He was very condescending showing me how to use the simulator. He then insisted that I vacate to let others use the simulator because they cannot accommodate people coming in to get range time on their lunch break. There was an open bay next to me and no one waiting. I had hit 4-5 balls. I literally went to the store today to buy one of the two sets I had narrowed down to. The guy vacated immediately after the comment. After hitting a few more balls, I (reluctantly) meandered around the irons section attempting to find help on a new set of irons. Couldnt find anyone so I left angry. Ill find another retailer to buy the ~1.5K set.

Went there to have a putter cut down. Dreading the cost and was thinking they would tell me to come back next week. I was so wrong. The guy said he would do it immediately, just come back in a few minutes. Cost was so low I thought it was a mistake. Great fast service. I love this place!

I’d give them zero stars if that were an option. I bought a new m6 driver there. A sales person (eric) said he get a head cover and take the club to the front counter for me. He went to the back room while I looked for some other items. I made my purchase and when I got to the course I saw he had switched the new club I had handed him with a demo club. I was playing with a golf manufacture manufacture rep that said they do this because they can pocket cash for selling the demo. Even if that isn’t accurate it ruined my impression of this place. Bad experience with dishonest people. I’ll be getting my money back and shopping elsewhere.

PRO:You can try pretty much any of the gear in the store and they have all of it.CON:Was hoping for better prices and deals. This place is not competitive enough with Amazon or other retailers in regards to pricing or even speed of delivery of stuff that needs to be ordered from out of the store. The staff is ok.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I know they are a big box, but I went in for an iron fitting and was basically ignored by the staff. One guy put together a couple of clubs for me and then disappeared. Retail staff does not care.

I had a scheduled appointment for a club fitting and was ready to pay the fee and everything. Very excited. Then everything went downhill.The staff was very dismissive. I asked multiple people but they kept delaying an answer for my appointment. After an hour of this, I left. Ill take my business elsewhere.I would discourage anyone going to this location

The bankruptcy and change of owners is very apparent. Less than courteous staff, almost dismissive. They do not seem happy there. The key was, good luck taking your business elsewhere, we are the only game in town I followed up with the manager as I called out that comment to a aggressive, upset sales associate. He was courteous, but really wasnt committed to getting the discussion back on track, which should have been finding a great club for me and me leaving satisfied. Heading to a local course pro shop and online for the future.

Walked around the store for about 10 minutes looking at clubs and their employees walk around you minding their own business and dont offer any help. When I finally asked a simple question, I got a short answer that didnt really help me. This isnt a discount store, you pay up for their products. Customer service is part of that.

Horrible experience. Looked at clubs for over half an hour and no one came to help or ask if we had any problems. When we finally got to the checkout, we told the clerk (Brady) about our experience. He just shrugged and had a very whatever additude. He was extremely rued. Would not recommend to anyone looking for golf equipment

***Update August 2018***Thanks to help from Vince and Jason on club fitting, swing advice based on my speed and ball flight, and a new recommended putter/grip combo to suit my stroke, proud to say I’ve cut 10 strokes off my handicap and am now a 3 Handicap. Couldn’t be happier and look forward to getting new wedges this winter!********************Went in on a Saturday and got a custom fitting with Vince. Had multiple people giving their two cents on options and opinions which was awesome. Im a picky guy and he spent over 2 hours working with me on what club head, shaft, grip, and specific adjustment we were going to make on the club. I can promise you I will only be buying clubs from them moving forward and specifically will work with Vince who was great!Went with Mizuno irons which I also recommend!

Horrible... just an absolutely horrible customer service. Hardly anyone there to help most of the time. Also the guys here just dont have that much knowledge about golf clubs. (I kid you not, an associate couldnt distinguish the difference betw/ the Epic sub zero driver vs regular Epic) I personally think the only reason this place is surviving is because of a simple fact that this is the only Golf Galaxy existing near the Austin area. Most people are probably just trying clubs here and making their purchases elsewhere online at a cheaper rate.

This place used to be GOLFSMITH but now its GOLF GALAXY. Everything inside seems to be exactly the same. Just the name change. Im not the golfer but per my husband he enjoys coming here. We never leave without something new. Its great to see the sales tables with take an extra 75% off

Good prices I was a hacker golfer before I took lessons in the virtual training room with a pro and he got me into the mid 90s in a few weeks. Highly recommend their lessons.

I really wish Golfsmith was closing this store instead of the one on I-35. This store has a 1/3 of the used selection, and limited demo clubs. The only positives are Dan (sales guy) and Gene (club fitter). These guys know their stuff.

Self Serve Only - went there to buy shoes. Sign says get professional help for best fit. Could not find anyone. No one came by. There for 30 mins sitting down trying on shoes but really hard to find boxes that match display items. Selection of wides was minimal and not well marked on most brands so I left. Keep trying to support local business but not this place anymore

Worst customer support and terrible repair service—I cannot believe this store replaced the tried and true Golfsmith (r.i.p)!! These guys are awful: first, they let my club go unserviced for 2-weeks, then they called to apologize how they over looked it, and now, I’ve been waiting 4 and a half weeks out and STILL no club. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first go-around because I requested a shaft PUREing before the hosel adapter goes on, but now it’s gotten to the lowest denominator—they just suck!!! Even the store reps ive spoken to made empty promises, they said: “we’ll take care of you”, “I’ll call you next Wednesday just to let you know it’s status”. LIES. All LIES. I’m boycotting Golf Galaxy after this is all through.Final question to Golf Galaxy: Why wasnt any of this expedited on the sheer belief of customer service?
