While an awesome ride, Superman Ultimate Flight isnt infallable. For one, the queue is completely uncovered, and being the biggest coaster in the back of the park, lines can get long. Being under the brutal Georgia sun can definitely make you more cranky about a slow moving line. And oftentimes it is, as the complicated mechanism of the flying trains and general laziness of staff makes loading times long and worsens the line problem. In addition, long loading times means that youll be hanging there on the brake run after the ride is over, staring at gum covered steel until the slow ride operators decide its time to dispatch. This could be alleviated if they actually used both sides of the station, but they do not.For the coaster itself its an excellent experience. Being on a hillside, this version of Superman is a rare terrain layout flying coaster, meaning youll be swooping close to the ground, and even go through a small tunnel. The g forces on the turns are strong, but not overwhelming, and theres a barrel roll at the end. The best part is the incredibly intense pretzel loop at the beginning. Getting laying down airtime at the beginning, followed by a nosedive for a dropping feeling, huge positive Gs on your back as you invert, and a straight up ascent followed by more lying down airtime as you level out. The red paint is also fresh and beautiful, and you might even hear Supermans theme in the area. If the line isnt long, dont miss out on this ride.
This roller coaster is something I have never experienced. When your waiting in line watching the whole process go down it is a bit intimidating to say the least. The ride pulls up, the shoulder harness straps are up. You sit in and pull down the the shoulder harness. You are sitting up right, as if your sitting. The attendant comes threw and locks in the harness with a key, then the floor drops from underneath you. All while that is happening the whole row of seats in every car leans you forward as you are flying. The scary thing for me was it straps your ankles, that freaked me out. Then the coaster takes off! It’s crazy! I really had a ball! Being upright flying threw the air is something I can check off!!
First time when I rode on this ride I lost my fear of heights which was really cool and so is the ride but I didnt like the big loop when you down and be there for 5-10 seconds.I passed out on the big loop for about 50 seconds and my dad told me that I passed out on it and we were laughing.*NOTE*:Be there early at 10:30 because when you get there somewhere in 11 or even later there will be a BIG Line so I recommend to be there and for B&M Beginners.
It was my first time getting on Superman and it was a night. Can I say a beautiful experience..It really feels like you are flying.Smooth ride
This ride is still fun, if you can stand the nearly 2 hour wait time. They really need to open up both sides for loading, and run all 3 trains on the track to get ahead of the demand.
Super fun ride!! Im just a little chunky so they had to lock me in my restraint.
It was a fun ride, the loopty loop got me messed up rho, but thats my fault
A CLASSIC. It was my first big rollercoaster (it was YEARS ago, so now I find it tame). I was 9 at the time, and I had just become tall enough (54 inches) to ride. Ive gotta say, Superman: Ultimate Flight may be small compared to newer rollercoasters, but one part if pretty intense; the horseshoe loop. Thats the only time you feel weightless during the ride, but Ive gotta say, it makes up for the ENTIRE ride. I love this ride and it will always have a place in my heart.
Broke down after we waited line. in for a hour and a half
Terrifying ride. Disinfected between rides
I almost didnt go on this. Hanging face down???!!! Fortunately my cousin talked me into this (front seats)! I made a decision as the ride took off to let go, look straight ahead and imagine I was indeed flying and WOW what an experience. Unlike the other rides where I screamed til I was hoarse, I uttered nothing but wows from me the entire flight. Magical!
Superman was pretty good. A little on the slow side but it was a pretty decent ride. Flying coasters aren’t really my thing though
Maybe the best coaster Ive ever been on. Its a little scary at first, but once you get going it is really cool because it feels like you are flying. At one point you twist 360 degrees and that move actually makes you feel what it would be like to fly as Superman. Also the big circle upside down move is pretty intense. Rode with a 10 year old, and noticed even younger kids getting on this so it must be OK for kids.
Amazing l
I love it
Flying coaster that is fun but not a standout.
It’s is one of the smoothest rides in the park it is also this was also my first inversion coaster and my first ever coaster in six flags over Georgia 10/10 would ride many more times
Went on a Tuesday and there were no lines. Me and the kids were able ride several times within an hour.
I was soooo scared at first but when I got on and started riding... I was still scared but it was sooooooooooo much fun !
The best one there! You will never experience anything like this one
Good B & M Flying Coaster. Does need some work.
Great ride! Highly recommend it! Enjoy riding it with friends. Has a long line but is worth the wait. Super smooth, a little intense, and is good overall. They also need to use the second station and add another train on there. They dont even put everyone who want to go on all at one time. Enjoyed it and highly recommend it!
I was scared at furst but when tge brakes droped it was great
Im really torn about this ride. On one hand it is a good solid ride and worth the wait. On the other hand it is absolutely terrifying. Because for the first time you are way up in the air being forced to look down. And all of a sudden you dont feel safe, because your instincts are screaming at you. Try to tilt your head and look forward instead of down. The other thing about this ride is they take a long time to load and unload the car in front of you. Which you will be used to after a day at ANY six flags because thats how they stay safe. But its very uncomfortable on this ride. I wish they put you right side up while you were waiting.
The ride was ok the overall six flags over Georgia needs alot of improvement
That ride is seriously scary to me, cause u be faced down & it seems like youre gonna fall out. But other then that its a great ride.
Have a great time but every time you went to get a refill on your drinks they were out please and it costs 17.99 for that one its a big rip off please
I think the big loop has to be one of the coolest on any coaster I have ever ridden.
Fun coaster.
Its very fun make sure nothing is in your pockets before the ride but the line is long
I was scared to death! I was like This is going really fast. I will give the ride 5 gold stars.
Good B&M coaster, but I lost my Zippo lighter and after reporting it AND a call to six flags (had to leave a voicemail) still have gotten no response from the park.
Okay so I havent specifically ridden this model of the Superman flying coasters. However I have ridden the one at Six Flags Great Adventure which is a clone of this. It is in every way identical. Seeing how I couldnt find the one in New Jersey to review, Im gonna have to stick to this. Anyways Superman: Ultimate Flight is the only flying coaster I have ever ridden. This is apparently the weakest of the flying coasters but that doesnt make it bad. It still is a pretty enjoyable experience. The best part about the ride is of course the pretzel loop. That really was the most intense point of the ride, and also really the only intense part. The coaster is pretty force-less other than that maneuver, but I dont think it was meant to be. It is simply there to give you a graceful sensation of flying and it achieves that. The last inline twist was pretty cool and even the overbanks are fun. This is a cool, nice and fun coaster. If you want to fly like Superman this is for you.
Awesome! I actually like this better then Tatsu! That pretzel loop is perfect size! RIDE THIS AT NIGHT IF YOU WANT THRILLS!
Best ride in the park
I love that you hang horizontally from this one, really gives you the feeling of flying!! Super smooth! I love it!
Best flight
Smooth ride, they strap you in very safely, and most of all its fun!
Definitely recommend as a first roller coaster it’s kinda calm but the only thing that kills you is the big loop and idk why every single time lol
This is a really unique roller coaster! They tilt you back so that you are facing downward and flying like Superman, it is very smooth and very and super enjoyable!
The ride is the pretzel loop. And that loop is lovely.Everything else is just some unimaginative turning back and forth into the station.Still, dat loop
My favorite roller coaster of all time, always worth the wait
Thats hands down is my favorite ride it the park and the long line is worth the wait
For those coaster enthusiasts you have got to ride this in the front. Its a very intense experience.
The first flip on your back is AMAZING WORTH THE WAIT
Nice smooth experience. Not the best in park though.
Love the ride but too short
I feel Superman is just ok and isnt really long enough to be that great. Some people like the laying down position but Im not a fan.
Terrifying but worth a go
Love superman
