Lines were of moderate amounts, but moved swiftly. Great job with security on noticing people with their masks down and enforcing them to pull them up over nose. Also, the restroom staff were all on point. Great job on a clean park. Good food choices and lots of places to sit. Very professional from entry to exit. Season pass holder, so well be back indeed.
It is not busy at all. The social distancing where six flags only allows a certain amount of people in everyday is working. of course you do have to wait to get on the rides about an hour for the roller coasters but it is worth it and we had a blast. We pay $60 a month for unlimited visits the rest of this year 2020 and all of next year 2021 for four people and that also includes two lunches a day, unlimited drinks, diamond parking at the gate and a snack for all four people every visit. You also get a 35% discount on already reduced prices on novelties and gifts.
It was absolutely amazing! My kids had a blast - a lot of firsts for them. It was everything I remembered it to be! All of my old Favorites and made some new favorites this time. The staff was polite and friendly. Everything was kepy sanitized in between each ride even though we are going through this virus craziness it was still very enjoyable and so much fun! Pandemic or not We will be back!
Decorated with lots of light for Christmas; looks great so stay till dark. All rides had plenty of hand sanitizer available after exiting the ride, and saw staff wiping down some of the rides. Mask wearing was pretty well enforced
Six Flags has seen many changes over the years. I have been a season pass holder since I was 17 in 1997. I can tell you this, every visit my family and I have fun. I have never once gone and said man this is boring. Yes the food is a little pricey, but who cares, most people will go once a year. Enjoy yourselves!
Glad theyve opened up with reservation system to limit crowds. Also there are many workers making sure the patrons kept their masks on. They also are disinfecting the rides at different intervals. We definitely felt safe. We hoped the lines would be shorter but it wasnt much better. We got there a bit before 1pm, stayed for about 4 hours and got on 4 rides in. The Halloween decorations throughout are nice but not sure why the ride Mindbender is closed. Its one of my favorites, plus Scorcher and Blue Hawk. Wanted to ride the Cyclone but line was too long. We will probably come back again for the Christmas decorations.
Lots of amazing rides, good people, safe experience. Good food, too! 10/10 Ive been going for years and they never disappoint.
It was good although we only got to ride a few rides. Six flags needs to try to accommodate the amount of people and the wait times. It was during fright fest and they went above and beyond to work with the pandimic
My husband and I went to the park on Halloween, so there were a lot of children and teenagers, as I remember they were giving out sweets to them. The park is large and it is not possible to go to all attractions in just one day, I recommend you buy more than one. We bought the season pass which is valid for one year, so we can come back more often, visit the water park and go to the other Six Flags parks in other states.
Lines were short, everyone was wearing masks, security fully unforced and everyone listened. Rides were sanitized ever 10 to 15 mins for what we could tell. Six flags is doing a wonderful job of keeping everyone safe!
I rediscovered my love for Six Flags during the pandemic. I made a reservation, paid for parking in advance. When I arrived, I was impressed with the organization and flow of things. There were fewer people in the park, so the wait times were shorter, you can actually spread out and enjoy the sights and sounds of the park without bumping into or squeezing by people. Aside from walking the park which isnt a breeze, it was less chaotic than I remember. The covid precautions work but there are always folks who dont follow instructions. Most of the attractions were open with line spacing markers and announcements to distance and wear your mask. There was also hand sanitizer at the entrances/exits of each line. Overall, it was my daughters first visit and I couldnt have prayed for a better experience. Visited 11/8.
The covid issue is taken safe but not pushy and in your face. They sanitize almost every time you look around. The one gripe was staff did not know park well enough to give exact or close to directions to specific rides or locations
I was really worried at the beginning because of COVID but everything was really clean. There was always hand sanitizer and hand wash stations everywhere. It made me feel really safe. There was also stickers that marked 6ft. So it was a really good experience!! I had so much fun!!
When we arrived theres a line. Then like 10 minutes later people formed their own lines. No employee found the time to go out and situate the matter of people cutting in line. One ride employees followed the 6 ft rule. But the others didnt.... The ride for pandemonium was the ride that employees followed the distance. I liked the dare devil ride because employees sanitized the ride.My husband tried to order his meal on the app and it wouldnt accept it and refresh his app losing his lunch and dinner. I had to give him my dinner. Yall need to fix the app.Rides were awesome but yeah theres needs to be some kind of organization when the park opens outside. People just didnt care to get in the end of the line when they arrived. If they arrive late then they should follow the back of the line like we arrived early and waited our turn. I seriously dont care for people cutting in line.
Were season ticket holders with meal plans. Weve been 5 times this year. The rest of the year had always been a pretty good experience. Having to reserve the day and time youll be going kept the crowds down. However the lines at the restaurants are always terribly long. There arent any kiosks to just get refills, which would be a god send. The ride lines were always 20 minutes or shorter and that was great. At the beginning of the year they ran out of soda park wide, some problem with the co2 lines. And half of the water section was closed. However by our 3 visit everything was great. This last time though we were looking forward to fright fest. Twas not in the cards. Somehow there were 100 x more people in the park. The average wait time was over an hour and you couldnt get a refill on your drink in less than 30 minutes. We were there for 4 hours and never rode a ride. The staff isnt helpful and the people even worse. I dont understand how you can be in line for 30 minutes and still dont have your tickets available on your phone for scanning. Too many people make for too many lines, too many waits, and too much stupid. They should go back to limiting the number of visitors.
Was a great place to enjoy time with the family. The staff enforces restrictions, in making sure all customers stayed safe. Wearing a mask was a must. Also since we had to make reservations for time slots, it seem like it was a little less crowded so wait time in lines were not bad. Overall my family in I had a great time.
Cleanliness could be better, found trash often while walking around or waiting in line. Employees need to be a little nicer, you can tell they dont want to be there at all.Besides the cleanliness and employees the new rides are great!
I have now been to 5 Six Flags parks now. This is definitely the most mild of the ones I have been to and I have done NJ, Los Angeles, Boston, Mexico City, and now Atlanta. A good start for people who have not been on rides before. Still fun as the Superman ride is a duplicate of the NJ one which was the first roller coaster I was ever on.
Very clean, people that work there are friendly and helpful, even the guests were great, I didnt hear any profanity or see inappropriate behavior. Only encountered lines at night. Christmas decorations and shows were so good!
I took my kids to their first frightfest experience and it was wonderful. Every employee we encountered throughout the park was VERY friendly and helpful, even the ones who were new. Kids had a good time playing the little games and winning candy. Employees in member services and the ones working the games were amazing tonight!! The lines werent terrible and they are enforcing masks. We had a great time and stayed till close.
If you’re nervous about COVID-19 this is not the place to go! We were excited to go for the first time to Six Flags Over Georgia, but were very disappointed upon arriving. 80% of people do not wear the mask properly, or just take it off altogether. Masks aside, we never saw staff clean a ride. They do not space out the rides seating either. No one complies with social distancing. 2 of the bathrooms didn’t even have any soap left. We felt very uncomfortable. I had read many reviews and watched videos and we felt it would be safe to try, unfortunately not. Thankfully, the one day tickets were half price and we ended up getting rained out so we left early. I wanted to leave an honest review for others because I wish someone would have told us before we wasted our time, money, and safety! Hope this helps.
Six Flags is a good place for a budget amusement park experience. Social distancing isnt enforced in lines but the mask policy is strictly policed by park security. I felt comfortable since we were outside and everyone was wearing their masks. The park is a bit worn down and generally old feeling, but the rides felt safe. I would recommend that the PA systems be improved or the ride workers learn to speak more clearly because any announcements are unintelligible.
Went to this park 2 months ago, it was a really nice experience. rides were really good, they have some of the best rides in the southeastern united states, the staff were really nice and i didn’t have any problems with them, and also everyone at the park was wearing a mask, i did not see anyone at the park without one. the food at the park was pretty decent, it wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. also i think the park could have had better theming. but everything else about this park was really good.
Ive been to a few at least five different Six Flags parks and this is by far one of the best parks to visit. I go for the roller coaster and did this park deliver. I went for a weekend trip and was able to ride all the rides some of them twice. This park is a must see if your visiting different amusement parks around the country like myself are just looking for a park with good roller coasters. This park gets a 5 out of 5!!
They are doing the best they can at enforcing masks and social distancing. The mask free zones were welcome. They were on top of sanitizing rides between new riders.Only complaint is the outrageous cost of food. 3 combo meals with soda at $56 and change.
Not much social distancing except on the rides. Loved the little shows and characters that were dressed up.
I loved the lights food was better than last time, I wish they would kept the wings open but o well. The smores delicious. Service mmmm well not the best on the food, since we had to wait over an hr for food cause they were arguing between each other but the show is awesome
This amusement park is great. Unlike some other theme parks it won’t cost you an arm and a leg to get in. They have lots of rides, and unless you go on a Saturday or mid-summer lines aren’t too long on most rides. There are plenty of good big rides, and a lot of rides that younger kids can ride on that are actually fun. We had a great experience overall. They handled Covid-19 well, even when park patrons made it their goal to not wear masks.
Went for hallow fest and man. Got to hit all the rides and they were on top of keeping folks with their masks on. Highly impressed and had so much fun.
The rides were fun but unfortunately you have to wear a face mask while on the ride even though the seats are further then 6feet apart because they skip every other row. There was also several rides closed. Enough to where it isnt worth going right now. Staff was nice though.
Everyone was wearing masks, all ride entrances had hand sanitizer. The rides were amazing!
So many thrill rides/roller coasters. 1 negative was lost and found was closed during my visit. Could not go and check for my lost item.
Park is fun and has lots to offer but needs updating and beautification as well as a more sensible flow to the paths. Def need to upgrade their coaster selection. It’s still something you have to do if you’re in the area and enjoy amusement parks
Too concerned about Covid but still somewhat fun!
It was not bad its half capacity to buy some sterilized every five rise or so was not long lines and people actually distance themselves
This use to be a fun place. Definitely not worth it during Covid. The roller coasters may be 30% capacity due to them skipping rows. Most rows only have 2 people if you aren’t with a full group of 4. We went from open to close and rode 3 coasters.
Nice park sometimes long lines but definitely a good park go to if you want to ride some good roller coasters.
Got lots of rides in. The park is really nice and was decorated beautifully.
Fun experience. Absolutely loved hurricane harbor! Made it worth the entire trip. Park looked great and updated mostly. But lots of rides went do often...other than that a great experience. Got the Flash Pass and was worth the money spent.
False publicity. It also NOT 25% capacity. Coasters only ran one car at a time. way slow. Closed too early. But Workers were nice. Chicken was hot.
I havent attend what once was and still is my favorite park. Yall security was on point, the ride coordinators was awesome. I enjoyed my time. Havent been there in 20+years. The kids sent me down memory lane.Awesome time.....
Had some issues with our meal passes and guest services didnt really have a way to fix it. But they did try hard to make sure everyone was following all covid protocols and we were very appreciative. The kids had a great time!
This was out first time at this location and probably our last. The reservation system, limited amount of guest and social distancing was all out the window. Park was packed. We did not stand in any line for less than 1 1/2 hours. I waited for batman for 2 1/2. I understand its a theme park and there will be lines. But why allow 100% park capacity if rides only accept half capacity. Greed at its finest. Sorry to say that but anyone at the park today will understand why i say this.Went to macho nacho for lunch. Food itself was not bad. Service was horrible and messy. My food was sloped on my plate like i was in the middle school lunch line. Server was rude and in a hurry.Overall i left very disappointed. Especially since we drove from the orlando fl area to try six flags. 6 1/2 drive to ride 4 rides.
Professional Very friendly courtesy politely team work dream works. The diamond pass from my coworker friend had saved me money as well my $ 18.54 half the price. Thank You so much! ..You are more than welcome!.. Six Flag Over Georgia (Owner)
Covid line took long could be more efficient but park was good
Lots ppl there so you gotta wait to ride, but other than that love it.
I think this is definitely one of the stronger locations, but I wish the staff would wear their masks properly. Id say 1 in 3 workers wore their masks pulled down under their noses.
I more than like will NEVER visit this place ever again. I was paying the monthly membership, when COVID first hit, they never stopped charging me even thought the park was closed. I would had more respect for an organization had they shown the respect and responsibility of NOT charging customers while the park was closed. They are crooked for continuing to charge. I ended up having to add a credit card with like $3 on it and cancel my main credit card....they quickly canceled my membership when they couldn’t charge me
The rides are fantastic, the attractions for hallowfest were okay. The site stated no costumes for adults but once there we saw plenty of adults in costume, so bummer. The staff really were friendly, helpful, and sanitized EVERYTHING. Big plus. And reminders to wear mask, clean hands was on point. Although social distancing was not possible it was great.
The place was MUCH cleaner this year due to covid precautions, and most all of the rides were operating. The lines were no less long despite the inconvenience of having to make an appointment to come to the park. Still, fun as ever.
I went with boyfriend and friends, and we got there as soon as the park opened. We came halloween day and just had a great day. Rides were sanitized, mask rules enforced and just a fun experience.
I will forever love this park! It has always been so special to me because of the memories from childhood to now. I think that everyone that comes to GA to visit or is a resident of GA should go to this park at least once! There are so many fun rides & its definitely a park worth visiting! We will be back soon! Thank you so much!!!
This amusement park has become a public daycare center. Nothing like it was back in the day....now its just overcrowded with rude & out of control teens, to the staff not even caring about nothing. I wont return no time soon.
Im an amusement park junkie, so a place like this is paradise to me. Coasters and thrill rides, theyve got plenty. Along with a nice children section. Fun for all
Enjoyed the experience! Everyone was friendly. Halloween props and staff were scary yet enjoyable. Bathrooms were clean. Signs everywhere for social distancing, staff enforced wearing a mask.
My entire family had a great time and we bought season tickets
We did not have to wait in a line to ride any of the rides. They are social distancing and enforcing mask use. This was the best experience of Six Flags Ive had and Ive been here numerous times. Make sure you reserve a time though.
Theyre preparing for the Christmas holidays. Everything looks wonderful.. cant wait for the finished results!
Decent price for membership and loads of fun.. Most of the staff are good but there are several that I think should not be working due to their age and attitude. Some staff are barely old enough to legally work and show no curticy towards the customers. Also this parks staff is not very diverse.Other than that great fun and great experience.
Always a fun place especially during the holidays!
I had a great time. It was the first time I used my Diamond elite membership. It was a bit difficult getting my card up and running, but the staff was very patient and helpful. The mask policy and social distancing is being enforced as much as can be expected. Some will try to not follow the rules but staff will remind those who arent wearing masks or are standing on top of you in line. Only a few rides are closed. My guest and I got gold flash passes which came with our membership. They were worth every penny. We only had max 10 min wait times at each ride. Everything is cheaper with the membership. We are dinner, got drink refills, snacks and free parking. I plan to go at least once a month now.
I took my family on a vacation to Atlanta. We went to the Six Flags park and within an hour of our arrival the power went out in half the park. Then the whole park. Then parts of the park were reopened but closed again. There was no place to get food or drinks then when they became available it was just slushy drinks. So we decided to leave the park because we were afraid of getting on the rides and the power could go back out. We went to the customer service windows and asked was there a Six FLAG’s in Tennessee because we were leaving town and couldn’t return another day. They assured us there was and issued us a will call slip. When we got ready to make our reservation for the Six Flags in Tennessee we learned there wasn’t one. I paid $491 for the tickets for my family and they pretty much are saying now that there is no refund policy even if their equipment is the reason for the request. I need my money back.
It was a very enjoyable time. They even have 4 free day pass tickets for the next time we came b/c 4 of the rides were a bit flooded. And Moncho taco is a good place to eat inside the park.
I hate to say it, but I enjoyed it not being crowded due to having to make reservations to attend. No long lines, no messy restrooms. It was a great time and I loved my funnel cake!!!
Yesterday was my first time in a very long time coming to six flags to experience Fright Fest. I was highly disappointed how long the lines was and I only rode 2 rides out my whole visit. I paid 65 and some change just to basically stand in line for 2 hours just to have fun. Six Flags you guys got to do better.
I went here today with my friend group, best time ever! Wish we had more time here, it was so much fun! We went on all sorts of rides! Our favorite would have to be the Goliath, 200 ft in the air! Though their food was a little unpleasant. But if youre coming here for your first time, I definitely recommend! Loved it, thanks Six Flags!
I purchased tickets under the website’s promise of reduced crowds and enforced social distancing. After being forced to stand in dense packed lines to even get to the park entrance I no longer felt comfortable entering the park. Think Times Square, a night club on New Year’s Eve level of crowds. I would be uncomfortable being forced to stand in these crowds when there is not a global pandemic. I left as there is a global pandemic and no social distancing was being enforced as promised on the website. As I purchased tickets and did not redeem them due to false statements on the website I requested a refund. The park workers say the only way to obtain a refund is to call corporate... who do not have a phone line for customers. They then direct you to fill out an online form which I have not received a response to in over 2 weeks. Do not go as they are liars and only looking to scam people out of money.
We went for halloweenfest it was fun but some rides were closed. Wait times were no more than 15 minutes! They did a great job with social distancing, sanitizing, and everyone was expected to wear a mask.
Had a great time but this park has a serious bee issue. Bees everywhere: while waiting in the lines for rides and while trying to sit down and eat food and even swarming trash cans. Seriously somebody needs to do something about how many bees there were before someone who is allergic has a bad reaction.
Love the updates... The newer rides... The nostalgia of the memories I had as a child and teen and its still amazing... Maybe not the best in all the world to others... But a FAVORITE of mine
Always love this place! They added some great rides and made some awesome upgrades since my last visit, years ago. One of my favorite additions, was Pandemonium and Twisted Cyclone; both producing amazing Gs!! Get the membership! I will definitely be doing so, and returning again and again and again!!
Could be cleaner. Would be nice if you could talk to someone on the phone. You cannot reenter the park due to covid. Some rides are shut down i.e. the joker ride in Gotham. No cash in the park. They want you put it on a debit card you can get for free in the park. But they tell you that you can use it anywhere outside of the park as well. It is a visa debit card.
Just wanted to say me and my family had a excellent time the ride times were fast and the games department made our day especially the supervisor Cody he is a well mannered young man and went above and beyond to make our day go well I hope he is recognized as well as the kids working in the games they were so energetic in the USA section of the park keep it up mr Cody supervisor over games
Never had an issue! Employees were lovely! Lines a little longer wait due to spacing everyone out. But all in all a great way to spend the day. Our only complaint was being many times before we have always packed a lunch. Took a break halfway thru the day to go to the car, rest and eat. Not sure if covid related or its new policy.... You are not allowed to leave to go to your car and come back. Upsetting to say the least and I feel six flags should be allowing families to save money where they can (hence bringing your own lunch) the fact that they are collecting more money (cause whos gonna be staying all day without eating?) Is a shame. They dropped the daily tickets to half price... But came back for you in the long run. Just distasteful in my opinion
Park is taken care of and the pride shows. Very Clean. Employees are super nice and have a great attitude. Good variety of rides and they are well maintained.
Did not feel safe. No social distancing, no enforcement of mask wearing, at least an hour wait for rides, 25$ to park. Was a negative experience. We left after an hour an a half without getting to ride one ride.
I had my first visit ever here last week (9/26). To put it simply, Im disappointed. If the virus wasnt rampant in this country right now, I probably wouldve been more lenient with this review, but it is and, not only was the park overcrowded, but social distancing was scarcely enforced. I was in line for Georgia Scorcher for two hours and nobody came to ensure people were 6 feet apart until after wed been in line for an hour. We got Flash passes after that, which helped with the wait time, but not with the social distancing. I guess I just expected better from here.
Overall its great but dont get a flashpass when its very crowded. I paid $70 per person and still have to wait sometimes 60+ minutes for the next ride. That all beside the 90 minutes wait to stay in lane to get the pass.
Everything was going ok until we needed our belongings from the locker, it was supposed they had the credit card registered, so this one was in the locker because there are rides with water and we didnt want our stuffs got wet or lost, etc. We asked for assistance they made us to wait for one hour, one young guy from the staff was calling them, and they were repeatedly saying we are coming in five minutes, we had to go to ask for a manager and the lady was talking to us with an attitude, we missed one hour that we could be enjoying the rides or eating because we had passes for it, and also we bought a pass, with which one they can take you pictures all day and you check them in the website but the staffs with cameras were only one time in the entrance, then they disappeared. The installations are cleaned and the rides are cool.
So much fun. I think its better than Bush gardens tampa, fl. We didnt get to ride everything due to covid-19 n maintenance on certain rides but a wide variety of rides left you wit much to be done.
Havent been yet. Had lots of fun! Cant wait to go again. Water was great
Not at all crowded... very short lines... very clean
Love the way the staff are stationed to monitor the lines to ensure all guess are social distancing. The rides were really fun and different from my home state park. The down fall for this park is the food options. I was very disappointed that the only food we really had to choose from was chicken strips or burgers. My burger was so burned I just trashed it. The funnel cake was also disgusting as it tasted like nothing but old grease.
Been going to Six Flags for almost 40 years now. Wow! I can’t believe it. It never gets old. I remember when I was a child going with my cousins, crying on the Scream Machine, and having a blast. Now me and my children go. Season Passes are such a good deal due to new COVID-19 regulations. Masks are required. A lot of people do not social distance so watch out for them and be safe while having fun .
I have 4 stars for the great rides and they do have a great collection of roller coasters and rides I highly recommend it for that reason. If I was rating most ops, using only 1 train when theres a long line, many stores and shops closed (on even a weekend) how much it seems Six Flags normally cares Id rate 2... those people who really know a lot about parks and roller coaster enthusiasts pretty much no that Six Flags is Six Flags but they go because of the amazing rides not because the overall experience is good like it is that some other parks. Go here and enjoy the coasters and you will.
3/5 of rides I’ve been on I’ve had to leave due to technical difficulties. Lines are twice as slow due to some social distancing precautions which is somewhat understandable thought it seems it’s more security theatre than practical. Tickets are half price but half of the stuff isn’t working and it’s at half capacity. Not worth it at least atm imo.
The park was great, even during the pandemic. The only thing I would warn against is buying drink cups online. Im out $40 because no one would give me the two drink cups I purchased.
Considering the circumstances of the pandemic it was a great place to visit however, customer service was horrible!!. The staff were not happy to be there. I was not happy wearing the mask because of the heat, the mask made it worse to bear the heat! I really hope customer service improves!!
The food is a little expensive especially if you have a bigger family. We normally bring our own but the last two times we have went to Macho Nachos. The kids shared plates and my husband and I shared because the plates are so big and delicious. Not everyone followed mask protocol but most people did. If you can go regularly get the membership because it really does save alot of money and has nice benefits. Overall we had fun but we are canceling our membership next month due to financial reasons.
Fun place for family - lots to do even for little kids. Would have been great if all of the roller coasters were operating and the park hours were longer (COVID-19). Certain areas of the park need some refreshing done. Ticket prices for fast pass are a bit expensive. Overall the family had a lot of fun.
Lines were exceptionally long! Its almost like they are forcing you to buy the Flash Pass Platinum
Good amusement park. Dont miss Pandemonium. Make sure to get the drink option with unlimited refills, youll need it with the heat! You can do the whole park in one day if you hustle.
Dont go right now. We were more unsafe in the backed up lines and the the employees were rude. I never had an experienced like this! Me and my family was super upset. Wasted time, money. We enjoyed ourselves for being together thats all. Oh, the food was great.
