The worst part of this ride is the line. The cars only hold 6 people and they only load and unload one car at a time, and this makes for a very slow moving line and an inefficient ride. The queue is out in the sun with no scenery, so its boring and long.If you go on a light day or dont mind the wait, Dare Devil Dive is a fine coaster. Its got the steepest drop in the park, comfy lap bars, and three smooth inversions. Its not particularly well paced, but its still fun and thrilling. The downfall for me is that you can experience similar things on Twisted Cyclone. It also has a steep drop and three smooth inversions, only it is a prettier ride, has an indoor queue, a faster moving line, and it has more than just the barrel rolls and drop... including plenty of airtime hills, overbanked turns, and an awesome wave turn.We always skip Dare Devil Dive because its doesnt offer anything particularly special that we cant experience on other rides in the park.
If you are the type of person that it takes a lot to get you on a roller coaster or amusement park ride then this is definitely the ride for you. Going vertically straight up and then a 100% straight down drop on the other side definitely hits your gut some type of way
Love SFOG. Not crowded...yet! This ride is daunting until youre done!
This ride is fun, the ride up is terrifying, but all in all its great
To smooth
Smooth ride. Slow line.
It was neat, but I wouldnt wait over 30 minutes for it
I love this ride it’s so worth the wait and also I see people mad at the wait well that’s not the coaster itself fault it is also the smoothest ride in the park no contest
Outstanding coaster but 6 person trains makes the line take longer than other attractions.
Fun Gerstlauer Euro fighter. Not a very long ride, but fun nonetheless.
Straight upStraight downThen they spin you all aroundWhat can I sayI had a blast
Fun coaster. The line for me was about 45 minutes, but it was worth it. The trains are very tight and compact and give you little to no leg room, which I don’t mind. You climb the vertical lift hill very slowly, and you reach the peak of the ride at the top of the lift hill before plummeting on a beyond vertical drop. This drop is not as scary a second it looks, but it is still intense. After the drop, you go through a long serious of fun inversions, and that’s pretty much it. Would recommend.
This is an AWESOME coaster! So smooth and quick! Theres also plenty of twists and turns to make it extremely exciting.
Its ok coaster. not worth the wait
We live this ride! We usually get to ride back to back during the cooler months! And boy fo wer take advantage of it!!! We love daredevil!
I was in line when they shut down rides due to inclement weather. There was no rain, no thunder, no lighting we were a bit upset. Went back when it opened and it closed again. Checked my radar nothing was close. Needless to say disappointed for 2 1/2 hrs then when I got to ride it, the 2 1/2 hrs was not worth it. Ugggh
I recommend this ride if you want to take a steep drop
Loved this coaster. The first drop is a long way down.
One of the best coasters in the park! Its a short ride but so smooth and easy.
I don’t necessarily like going straight up, but the drop is well worth it. It’s pretty smooth, too
Feels like you can get out of your seat on the first hill! Fast, tall, and cool ride! Definitely recommend!
Very smooth and enjoyable
Very crazy ride. The vertical hill to the beyond vertical drop is insane. Do not recommend if you hate long lines. I had to wait 2 hours. Very smooth and very enjoyable! Highly recommend it!
I have only been on this ride once due to the constantly long line. The line moves very slowly and is very inefficient due to the virtual reality. I rode it once without virtual reality, and was able to skip over half the line because of it. The only time I rode this was at night and couldnt see much, but wow! This ride is great. It has a reason to be as long as it is. Worth the wait in my opinion.
What a blast. this is a must-do!
Whats not to love? Fun ride for sure.
First up... this ride ALWAYS has a long line. Hit Dare Devil Dive first thing in the morning before anything else, or you’ll be stuck in an hour’s wait with no air conditioning. However this coaster is still pretty enjoyable. The restraints are very comfortable, and Dare Devil Dive performs several dynamic manuevers in its tight footprint. This coaster has a noticeable rattle however it doesn’t affect the ride experience that much. Most prevalently, the heartline roll is amazing! You hang upside down for what feels like forever, and combined with the minimalist restraints this is easily the best part of the coaster! However, rerides are very hard to get due to the constantly long queue. This is a fun, intermediate thrill ride.
Love this ride! It is fast (ish) tall (ish) and provides some great inversions and moments. To start, the lift hill going up is 90 degrees VERTICAL! You are looking up at the sun, stars and the heavens, preparing for a beyond vertical drop. You feel like you are going inside yourself for a moment. It has some good inversions as well. A dive loop and zero-g roll are in the ride for sure. The transitions are smooth, it is not rough. The only complaints I have are that the operations are sluggish because each train only seats 6 people, and it is relatively short, in duration (in seconds).
Me and my family always get flash passes to where we dont have to wait but about 3 to 5 mins
Love this place so fun
Great coaster.
Me and 3 of my friends rode yesterday as our last ride of the day and all of us got off with headaches. Today I have whiplash.
It only took like 9 minutes for the line. Everyone says it takes 2 hours
Its super smooth
Absolutely great
Good trip
So worth the 2 hour wait
This ride is like no other
Me my uncle n aunt waited 2 hours n sixteen mins plus it was so short
Sweet six flags
That scared my anus off!!!!!!!!!!!!
