Its a nice Casino good food good atmosphere good slot machines good table games good food nice people
Pretty awesome arena! Security seemed to know what they were doing, sound was good, and the visuals were great! I saw Breaking Benjamin with general admission tickets (the pit), a band with 2 guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. I was able to hear all of them clearly, including vocals. The crowd was rowdy and disruptive at times, some people shoving to get to the front, but its Atlantic City and people are drinking so I cant blame that on the venue. If you want to avoid that, either get an assigned seat and not general admission or stand further back or more to the side in the pit. Overall, if you dont mind a sometimes rude and/or drunken crowd and wanna see a show in a relatively small venue with an intimate atmosphere, this is a pretty good place to go. Of course, be smart in Atlantic City and be more careful and cautious anywhere outside of the resorts and casinos as it gets later in the night. Also check to see if you can use your Hard Rock Wildcard casino card to get complimentary tickets to a show here if you have one.
Great place drove nickelback 2 airport next day was very cool. Just wish I would of drove them in I wanted 2 ask my girlfriend 2 marry me on stage. Still trying 2 do something over the top and amazing 4 her because she deserves it.
This Hard Rock Casino is very carefully and elegantly decorated but the Mark Etess Arena is the LEAST elegant area of this hotel. The arena was no better than being in a high school gymnasium and there was basically no light show. I felt this arena wasnt worthy of a performance by Earth Wind & Fire. They should take their gambling profit and invest it in their music venue.
Perfect sized venue.Visually pleasing from any seatAcoustics were on pointMaybe little less bottleneck for exiting would have been ideal. However; if you dont just follow the crowd, theres probably an alternate route
Nice little venue. Only issue that we had, as well as others as it seemed, was finding the place. Myself, and many other people there attending the show walked around in confusion trying to find the entrance but we saw very few signs directing us towards the arena, or for the show in general. Other than that it was definitely one of my favorite concert venues. Smaller and intimate while still having a big show feeling.
The Elvis Costello concert was amazing. He is one of my favorite artists since I was a teenager. However, we were in the 2nd row and the sound was AWFULLLLLL. It was great being so close and I wouldnt change that, but we were basically sitting in front of giant subwoofers and we could barely hear. AWFUL ARENA FOR SOUND.The people working there were nice and very helpful.
This is a great venue to enjoy a concert. Be forewarned...DO NOT buy tickets for section 311!! Like us, youll have to climb several sets of metal stairs, going round and round. And theres NO elevator or escalator! One gentleman in our group uses a cane and it took him quite a while to make it to the top. Once we all got there, we were told the restrooms are located...guess where? Downstairs...
Ive been to two concerts here and have really enjoyed the concerts its not a huge venue so you are closer and Ive had a great view whether Im sitting in the back or on the floor. If your on the floor expect to stand most of the time because most people end up standing up and block your view, so I sit down when its a song I may not be to crazy about.
Saw Earth, Wind & Fire. Great show. Wonderful performance. Etess Arenas stage, acoustics & big screens were great.
I did like going to this place its very small there is not a bad seat in the place and usually the sound system is great obviously depending on the concert
Nice arena for small venues, there was a fight in the crowd after the boxing match and security seem to be a little late to break it up and really didnt care too much either can you blame them. Probably not the safest place to go if you have kids especially that late at night and at a boxing match.
Great venue!! Can see basically anywhere you sit not a bad seat in the house..
I loved this place because I had the opportunity to see thee one, thee only, the incomparable MARIAH CAREY!!!!!!! Mariah never ever ceases to amaze her fans.......the atmosphere was just right and Mariah never disappoints!!!!!!
Worth visiting.. great time with friends and family.. Do not search for food outside Hard Rock. You will get upstairs lot of varieties of cousines, ice creams, cakes etc.
For a new venue, the seats are very cramped and not the most comfortable. The sound is decent, but I honestly still prefer Ovation Hall at Ocean over this concert venue. The acoustic resonance is just a little better. In addition, Ovation Hall is reasonably priced, and I find this venue is very overpriced for the seats and experience. It is not a bad place to go if you want to see an artist, I just felt that it could be much better especially for the price you pay.I have seen Tim McGraw and Keith Urban here so far. I enjoyed Keith Urban a little more. Both had openers as well. Electric sounds a little fuller compared to acoustics in the venue. The sound system is loud, but can be balanced better as some highs are lost at times.
Loved it. The Earth Wind and Fire concert was way way up.
I had bought my tickets for The Beach Boys Concert back in February had pretty good sitting . Then it came time to go come to find out they relocated my seat back one section plus one more row up more than where I would have been. They replaced our seats for a bar with table and chairs. I feel this was totally unfair . I saw many people not happy with this . I don’t think I will buy tickets here again because that will change your seating without letting you know or even offer you a better seating or at least a meet and greet. Let this be a warning to you all.
What can I really say. Its not Carnegie Hall. Its Hard Rocks answer to Ovation Hall. At Ocean Casino. Big difference. But its comfortable for the most part. Seating is a bit cramped. But it works out.
Niceeeeeee just so far from home love revrun
Watched Sting. Great seating setup. Great sound.
Not a bad seat in the house. BTW this is me interviewing UNDISPUTED World Champ Claressa Shields
Went to see the performance of Sting. Great show lousy seats. I did not feel safe in the stands.
Nice venue. Sound is great, no bad seats, lots of other things to do and see. A little pricey but a great experience.
We just saw Foreigner at Etess tonight! We had an awesome experience from the moment we walked into the Hard Rock to the moment we got in our car to drive home. Every person we encountered was helpful! Security was friendly and welcoming and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. The arena is caverness for sure but the acoustics were great! The band sounded amazing! Our seats were great in section 207 row O.
I absolutely loved the Shinedown show there a month or so ago. The arena size is perfect and theres no bad seat in the place.
We went there last October 19 2018 KID ROCK WAS SO UNBELIEVABLE HE WAS SO GOOD. HAD A GREAT TIME WITH MY SISTER AND HER DAUGHTER & HER BOYFRIEND. ITS SO HARD WAITING FOR KID ROCK TO COME BACK TO THE HOTEL AND CASINO & ALSO ANYWHERE ELSE IN A 100 MILE RADIUS. HES MY FAVORITE PERFORMER. HE DEFINITELY KNOWS HOW TO ROCK THE STAGE AND GET EVERYONE INTO HIS SHOW.
Hall and Oates were fantastic! The arenas was great, thankfully my sister was able to get seats in middle cause I have a really bad fear of heights so nose bleed section does not work for me! Our visit was great!
Freaking awesome venue. It sucked that the people who let us through the gate had no idea which way we were to go to get in to the seating area, well at least to get in line for it and due to their lack of knowledge. I wasnt front-and-center for the show when I was the first person in line which doesnt makes sense... No point in having left so early for it :(
This is the venue of Miss America
Saw Hall and Oates and Lionel Ritchie here. Both times were a great experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great venue but very steep sets and no railing.
Nice clean friendly staff. Be patient if you go to concert and are leave after from there may take a while.
This sound system was good, but unless youre in the exact center section, you may as well just watch on the TV screens. There are way too many obstructions if youre not in the direct line of the stage. We were in Section 104 (just to the left of the center section) and the speakers, stage, and equipment completely blocked our view from what we expected would be awesome 4th row seats. We basically watched the video screen the entire night.Security doesnt fix problems with problem attendees so youre on your own if someone is drunk, obnoxious and disorderly... and seated in front of or near you.
Great concert, great seats. Loved watching the drunk groupies Only if they would have stayed seated, LOL
Went to see Journey in September 2019. Seats were decent but still narrow, the auditorium was huge, and the sound system OK. The show only lasted for 1hr:20min. Too expensive for so little time.
Great venue and really great acoustics. Easy in and out. Great place to see live music
First time experience I enjoyed every bout
Concert by Hall and Oates was fabulous! Mid size venue.Perfect Hall to see great performers! Would definitely go back!!
I was in a second level seat (section 206). I had a perfect view of Frankie Valli. He was terrific and his band was phenomenal!
Seating is extremely tight on the floor. Best to sit in the balcony areas
Awesome arena. Could see the stage from everywhere.
The guys with Cameras need to go they completely block the view of a lot of good seats that we paid over $100 for.
This space was awesome! The setup was nice, the clarity of the music was awesome and the seating was good as well.
Have gone to several concerts here. Great venue. I suggest not sitting on floor.
Great venue but be aware that it goes out more than back.
Sound system is right for the room!!!Good job on install and tuning.
All seats were great as well as the acoustics and drinks. Really enjoyed the show.
The Arena was awesome I was in the second row at the jazz festival Boney James Wow what a line up every artist was good
I loved the concert. Not a bad seat in the room. Sound quality excellent.
Excellent!!! Saw Earth Wind and Fire. This was my second time at this arena.
Seats were great,a little too cold inside tho, Pointer Sisters were excellent!!
As always We had a great time.
There isnt a bad seat in the house! We saw Tim McGraw there, an amazing show. Great sound and acoustics.
Great arena! Center seating is the best views.
Enjoyable place to see a show, big enough but intimate as well
Great place to see a show. Its right inside the casino, so plenty to do before and afterwards.
Nice and roomie.
We saw Foreigner at the arena had a great time the Acoustics were great!
I saw RunDMC concert in this venue. Great concert and venue.
My first time attending this event Shinedown concert was a great experience and I am planning to go to more events! Thanks!
Great intimate place to see a band. Not a bad seat in the place
Seen the Doobie Brothers there. Great venue...
Great not to big or small . Loved the show
Great place to see a concert!Parking is no problem.
I like it but the seating could be better and the drinks are way too expensive. For General Admission/standing shows its pretty great.
Fantastic Forum.
Went to bingo it was fun didnt win not still fun
Nicely suited for musical performances. Seating was comfortable, sound was good and the view was unobstructed.
Great place to see a show not a bad seat. In the house and i have sat in multiple locations and shows here
They were very accommodating as me and my husband were in scooters They were wonderful The concert was great
Concert seating was not what I expected. I was in the fro t row and security allowed people to stand in isle whicj hindered my view.
Not a bad seat in the Arena. Everyone is friendly and accommodating
Great location and excellent sound as a concert attendee hope to see another show here soon.
Great venue for fights or concerts with plenty of capacity to handle a crowd at the concession stands.
While the view was great my neck did start to hurt after a while. I saw Breaking Benjamin and from where I sat the sound was a little distorted at times. The place was very clean but there was just something I didnt quite like about the setup of the venue. Decent place for a show.
Very nice, large, indoor arena for concerts. We were there to see Nicholback on August 24 the for my husbands Birthday. I was very dissapoited that in order to be up close on floor area you could only buy standing room only. Very big turn off for what is primarily an older casino crowd attending. We prefer seating!!! I personally cannot stand long due to foot surgeries. The standing room floor was not even sold out, so they were allowing anyone from seating to go onto floor. I guess they didnt want the entertainer to look bad with not much of a crowd in front of them. Sadly not a lot were leaving their seating in bleachers to go stand the entire concert. Some would go down for pictures and get a closer look, but would come back to their seats. I was also dissapoited in the band as after every song the band talked and every other word was the F Bomb. The singer I think, thought he was being funny, but not much of a laugh from the audience. I think its awful that people that entertain think they need to throw out the F Bomb Word continuous, or talk dirty in order to keep their audience. Do they not realize that there are some people that may like their music, but not to hear that? Not to mention that sometimes children are attending their concerts? Its not like their music is heavy metal were one may expect to hear exstreme foul mouth!.. Just saying...
Mark G. Estes Arena was great ! I glad they decided to keep this arena from the old Taj Mahal. I won free tickets to see Earth, Wind and Fire compliments of the Hard Rock Casino. We had great seats....eight rows from the stage ! Aweso.e show and awesome seating. The attendants were very helpful in helping people find their seats and it was a packed house. Ive always loved the Mark G. Estes Arena !
Mark Anthony concert. Awesome.
Very comfortable. Love the spaciousness.gift from my children and the nieces and nephews.
Great spot to see a concert . the remodel is very nice
Staff was helpful. Saw Frankie Valli. Sound was a little too loud for such a small venue.
Saw Mariah Carey in concert for her Christmas show
Seen Mary J Blige here. The rest is History.
LOVE Mark Etess arena!
Mariah Carey performed an AWESOME Concert
Large room with good sound for concert watching.
Seating is good.. Friends helpers
From my side seat was not able to see Keith Urban..need more big screens
Great seats no matter where you sit. 2 concerts in recent months and both were fun. Only drawback is drink prices...highly reccomend getting your drinks prior to entering arena area...otherwise awesome place
