Front desk was very great at their customer service. As for room service I can’t say anything positive. I called to ask for something simple. I asked for hot sauce during my stay. The hotel was barely busy you could say ghost town. I was told we will be there in 30 minutes. To add to that they never came for something as simple as hot sauce. No call or other recommendations to get hot sauce sooner to me.

Of all the hotels & casinos in Atlantic City I prefer the Golden Nugget formerly the Trump Marina because the atmosphere is fun & festive, the floor is easy, the slots are alwsys hot with good payouts and theres always an excited winner on the table games. All the other hotel casinos are too flashy for me.Every room has some sort of an amazing view, are most spacious, clean & cozy. All staff members are polite yet professional from check-in to check-out. The many restaurants offer a variety of delicious cuisines.During the warm months they have the lounge called The Deck with cool live bands where before 2020s COVID breakout, you could dance under the stars. For the gentlemen, and some ladies, theres the live online casino with the hottest and most tempting dealers.

Great place for our 5 year anniversary getaway. The hotel was easy to navigate. Mask are worn at all times. The casino is not over crowded and the atmosphere is comfortable. Our room was clean and spacious. We have the king suite. The sofa is comfortable. Our bed is soft. We got really good sleep. The bathroom is nice visually. My complaints are few. The lighting is a little dim, the bathroom is awkward to navigate because the tissue is far behind the toilet. And people are smoking weed on the floor and it seeps into every area of your room and halls. Other than that we love this hotel for the price and it is a must return for us. Oh and we ate at vic and Anthonys and it was 5 stars all the way. The best restaurant that we have enjoyed in a while. It is worth the high price. Also room service is not worth it. We ordered a pizza our first night and it was extremely bad. A 14 inch pepperoni pizza cost us 31.00. Ive had better pizza from a 711 lol. That pizza made little ceasers pizza look like a gourmet meal. Never again. But over all we absolutely loved our stay.

I loved it, the room was spacious and staff was great. Nightlife is great despite covid-19 everyone followed social distancing guidelines. You guys should definitely consider! Best nights to go for a good time is Friday-Saturday but for a more private intimate setting go Sun-Thurs.

No complaints when it comes to the customer service, staff, or amenities. My only compliant that drops the rating is the attention to detail. For a resort casino, you should not see rusty soap trays and vents in the shower. Or uncovered holes in the wall where light fixtures used to be. Holes in bedding, patch work paint, caulk and spackle jobs. Whole the resort is making strides to update itself from being a run down place, they need to ensure those little details are fixed. Also, I was never one to like those adjoining room doors that dont insulate the noise from your neighbors to well.

Stayed here for five days the Golden Nugget is an excellent place to stay. Everything is close by . The entire establishment is very clean the only problem I had was at the gift shop near the registration. If you want a 20 oz Coke you pay $4.50 a bottle. Anywhere else the same bottle cost you a dollar 25. If you want bottled water you will pay $3 a bottle. You can buy a 24 pack of water for $3 at anywhere else. How they can charge $3 a bottle for water I dont understand. It probably cost them three cents a bottle. Way overpriced I hope they lower it.

I had the pleasure of booking a room over the phone with her and you could hear her smile throughout the entire phone call. Im ALL about customer service and Linda has it all! When I asked for an early check in, she advised me to come and see her directly and where to meet her at the hotel check in. Thank you so much for answering all of my questions and with details of each answer. Golden Nugget is lucky to have such a friendly, helpful and all around customer service supervisor/agent such as her!!! 5 stars for Linda and the hotel for having her on!

This casino is very dated. The lighting is a bit dark throughout and the food is just okay. Some stuff is good some stuff is meh. The crowd is older, not many young people. The newer renovated rooms are nice. I did like the outdoor fireplace lounge area.

The casino was fine. Everyone wore masks. Your temperature is taken to enter. Sanitizer and wipes in abundance. The only negative was Michael Patricks Brasserie. The service was terrible. To be fair, it was the kitchen. Operating at 25% capacity and my food arrived 45 minutes after order was taken. Unacceptable!

I didnt stay here too long basically just a run through real quick to see what it had to offer compared to other places but I did like it better than Harrahs it was definitely a nice place to visit

We had a fun time at this hotel. The pool area is pretty and the drinks and food so delicious . They have good prices. The service room is fast.

They gave My wife, son and myself a handicapped room with one full size bed I mean wheres my son supposed to sleep? The next room they gave us two full sized beds when they claimed they were queen sized and on top of that my wife and I were bit by something through the pillows, requested new pillows and I was bit again that night. We left that morning and the receptionist says to my wife why didnt yall switch rooms, good question but like why are we getting bit to begin with and we thought the issue were the pillows but dont worry we wont be returning to your full sized beds smh .

Stayed there for the weekend ️ had a ball.. the hotel was NICE I would of liked a suite but they werent available during the weekends. Theres hand sanitizer stations all throughout the hotel they check temperatures at the entrance for every customer even if they seem you already that day and only allow four people to an elevator. Wish I took pictures

This is my favorite casino! Its simple but the layout is easirt so that you dont get lost! The other casinos are too big and easy to lose other members of your party!

It was ok, nothing great. The Slot machines werent paying out. I guess they are still trying to recover from when they were closed.I ate a place called Bills Bar & Burger, it was simply FABULOUS & Delicious.Over all, even with having a great Burger place, I still prefer Resorts.

The walls are thin. Comp rooms not well looked after. Covid responsible for some of the negativity. They are open and it sure is better than most things open now. Be prepared to eat in your room and listen to the people in the room next door. They didnt fix a non functioning safe or have ashtrays in my smoking room. They were very accommodating to a late check in. No shows happening, restaurants closed, rooftop pool and spas open but I personally was concerned about that. Many machines offline and tables werent available. Poker room closed.

Its ok, but I dont think its smart to ask guests sitting at the bar to have their masks on between every sip! We went to many other casinos bars, and not a single one has that crazy rule!Not sure who came up with this none sense rule.

$25 minimum on the tables after 9. Hard to find a seat at busy times. Go early or off peak hours for lower tables that are easier to get on.

Room was gorgeous and clean but the room next to me had people that were extremely loud obnoxious all night.

Great all things considered. But after 10pm good luck finding anything to eat or drink out side of the essentials shop. If they had even one late night take out and drink option it would be an easy 5 star experience in this odd COVID time. Everything was clean safe and fun otherwise.

Great services. The rooms are good and we got room with beautiful view which we absolutely loved. Parking here is free which was a perk. Crowd was really good. Saturday live band was amazing.

The place is terrible. Filthy, bathrooms are not clean, overall a bad experience. I went on September 4th, the day New Jersey allowed alcohol and sit down seating. I had no idea they allowed smoking as well! Terrible idea! No one wearing masks as they were too busy puffing on cigarettes to wear it and no enforcement either! Go anywhere else for a better time.

Great location to meet with friends. The bill was fair I would say. Not so close to my office, unfortunately.

Unfortunately this casino has seen better days. The tables are dirty and worn, and the air is filled with the smell of cigarettes and mold. This is the only casino I have been to that smells like mold, although it is sad that they probably don’t have the finances to fix these issues. They had $10 craps tables when I visited and I managed to win a little money with their slot play promo. When I visited, they had free parking, every casino in atlantic city should be offering this.

I was there yesterday for the first time and they really made me feel comfortable it seems like they were cleaning all the time and I just felt good about being there

Free parking! Temperature scans before you enter. Lots of spaces between games to allow for social distancing. There are a few games that I love from other casinos that I could not find here. Great for a day trip to win and lose some money.

Chart House restaurant during Covid19 was done well. People were masked. Same on casino floor. Food quality was excellent.

Beautiful hotel with nice bathrooms but the beds are too soft with a hard wood box frame that hits your leg when you get out the bed. Also surprisingly no microwaves on the premises.

The rooms looked nice and clean. My only complaint was the $7.00 bottles of water, if you drank one and the room had a stagnant odor. I still would visit again, those are minor complaints.

Room was fine but Ive experienced the poor customer service especially at the front desk.Never again.

Nice rooms, great poker room, nice buffet, and friendly staff! I didn’t like the restaurant outside the buffet but everything else was a good time. The parking garage is the only free one in the whole city which is a nice bonus. The poker rooms comps especially on Wednesday are top notch. Splash pots,3x comps, high hands, spin the wheel, and great dealers.

As far as the hotel its self it is not however the wifi maybe good but its not the best when comes down to being online with other people its bad you can play other players during a game play, my nephew had the worst experience ever when he online with his teacher and class mates it just kept lagging out and In. And they cant say all the hotels did that because we were at a hotel previously before and theyre wifi was perfect. Anyway if you stay at the Golden nugget be aware that the wifi is terrible. Also playing the machines they do not give you anything at all I hopped from three machines in over a minute . Great place stay tho.

Overpriced for being so old & outdated. Casinos and surrounding are clean. Room needed to be re-vacuumed. Food crumbs were all over. Beds are comfortable, but need to be lifted and thoroughly cleaned under as theyre full of dust buildup from years. Housekeeping, when you call, are a bit snotty. Room service was ok. Pool area is decent with good food & drinks; with friendly staff. Masks are enforced. Parking is free. 10 min drive to boardwalk, but minimum 4 hour wait for a table, and you cant make reservations anywhere.

Love the casino but the restaurants need some zesting up. Get rid of bean and bread and that spot in front of buffet. They are garbage in prime spots hella expensive n leave us wishing we had come when Bills or Lillies is open.

The casino was nice. Was always bustling with activity and there were always things to do. The slot machines have both a smoking and non-smoking section which I prefer to spend my time in the non-smoking section myself. There are several restaurants most of which Ive eaten that or people I know have. Everyone had reasonably good things to say about the restaurants But be sure to try and make reservation. they tend to get busy and full and occasionally youll find wait times of up to 45 minutes or an hour if you try to go to a popular spot on a Friday Saturday or Sunday dinner

I wouldve given it 5 stars, but the promos I specifically went down for were not given. I receive the monthly offers in the mail and chose this weekend bc of the daily freeplay for all 24K card holders. My fiance and I both have member cards and he wasnt given any of the freeplay all weekend. Initially I received the free play, but after the first 15mins of playing my card stopped working and I had to get a new one printed. With the new one, my freeplay disappeared along with everything else. I couldve just played from home and saved A LOT of money.

Everything was fine with just the right amount of people there . Tomorrow badly the Buffet is only open to the high rollers. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be back in a few weeks

Room smelled horrible. Tv remote did not work missed out on a nba playoff game. Called housekeeping nobody picked up for hours. Than I tried to turn the tv off from the switch on the tv, it turned on, but than I couldn’t turn off the TV nor flip channels. I fell asleep w the tv on till somebody finally came in to turn of the tv. Ad stated I was going to get a great view, instead got a view of a parking lot! $250 dollars for the night for that I would of jus stayed at my local hotel and probably would of had a better experience. The only thing that was good was the burger I ordered, wife sandwich bread was stale.

Older casino but still holds its own. Less smokey than most casinos that I have gone to due to larger non smoking areas. Extensive food choices, some are even pretty good. A decent place to be entertained while you responsibly lose a couple of bucks if your luck isnt too good. Nice waterfront and marina area for outdoor activities in good weather. It would not rate 5 stars as a resort hotel but giving it 5 stars for a casino.

I like the Golden Nugget. We always stop there on our Atlantic city trips. Definitely has an older casino feel but is always clean with the newer slot machines.
