It seemed to be a very nice, large park. It is right off I-75. The show venue is where I went and for being an open area in TN July weather, it was able to be kept a comfortable temperature. The show venues restrooms were clean and nice for the type of facility. The park was easy to enter and exit, although it may be difficult during times of higher traffic.

Super nice, clean an need spacious. Im a little bummed that the ginormous playground is still closed. I suppose Tennessee is still running a little behind most other states on that issue. Every other aspect was of the park was great. We will be returning.

Regional Park is a nice place to go exercise, or just to clear your head. The setting has a caring effect for me. Beautiful place.

Beautiful park, well maintained and nice trails. Plenty of flowers and a nice creek circling it. Bathrooms could be better. Besides that, nice place and will definitely be back!

Love this park! The hiking trail is absolutely beautiful and so is the area by the ponds. The disc golf course is fairly nice, but its easy to lose a disc in the pond on one of the holes, be warned. They are building a new playground for kids that looks super nice too. Great place to bring family, pets, kids, etc. They have a volleyball net you can play on, you can fish in the pond, along with other activities :)

A very nice park with 2 lakes and very well maintained. Lots of different settings in one park from sports and fishing to sunning relaxing or picnicking.

Beautiful park! We had a great time hiking. Theres a hiking trail through the woods, a paved trail around a pond, and frisbee golf spread across all of it.

Heck yeah I love this place my daughter got two blue ribbons in the stadium jumping class.

H bar M rodeo was very enyertaining brought back memories from past, it made todays problems with covid and economy seem to disapear, at least for a couple of hours

I love this park, as do my nieces and nephews. Its beautiful and houses a lot of sports and community events. The trails are nice and the ponds are lovely. Defend community parks!

The splash pad is brand spankin new. I hope it stays in the condition its in. Its pretty nice. And you dont pay to get in, but you can donate. People have food and there are tables. There are trashcans hopefully people use. We will go again!

It was an okay park. The tournament director canceled the tournament even though people are driving across the country to waste money on a hotel. Thanks for wasting peoples money, dont expect to see our softball team at your park again.

The facilities are very nice and clean. The maintenance manager, Donnie, is fabulous!! He is very professional, helpful, and accommodating. The front office staff is friendly and makes it easy to plan a functional. The grounds are beautiful. Wonderful experience.

Most of the park was closed. The limited open areas looked nice.

Took 4 grandkids to the splash pad and playground. This is an excellent facility! Plenty of seating for watchful parents...and covered tables. Very grateful that the city chose to build this. Well worth the trip if your children like playing in water. Connects to playground so theres lots to do even if they dont.

A great place to take your kids to play, cool off in the splash pad, go for a hike or walk around the pound. They have great events as well. Our kids really love it when the kids fishing derby comes around.

The splash pad was amazing little man had so much fun running between it and the play ground! Definitely a wonderful thing for the city to have wish more cities thought about their children like this! Cant wait to go back!

We were in the area to visit family and they suggested we come here. The playground and splash pad are great. They are clean and well maintained, and have a variety of activities to suit every age range. Theres also plenty of shade so you can get out of the sun for a break. Were so glad we came.

Not as dog friendly, the sidewalk look around the baseball field cuts through the splashpad/ playground area which has a no pets rule forcing you to take the road for that portion. Plenty of area for photography or just relaxing.

The Park has something for everyone, kids to adults. Frisbee Golf, walking and biking trails, baseball fields, soccer fields, play ground, splash pad, event buildings, what more can you ask. Athens Park and Recreation has made this one of the premiere Parks in the state. Perfect place for events for all East Tennessee.

We always enjoy coming here to play on the awesome playground equipment and watch the fireworks show on the 4th of July. Lots of country type folk here, but overall a nice place!

It was a nice little park. It wouldve been better if the splash pad would have been open since that was the main reason for being there... I guess next time Ill call before I come.

I love this place but today July 13 it was infiltrated with bees. We have never had a problem with insects of any kind before. It was terrible. Will be back but just thought I would let whoever is over the park know this. Thanks for a beautiful fun place for the kids of the area

Played a round of disc golf here for the first time. Wish we had a course like this in Chattanooga! Some challenging holes for sure. Its definitely well maintained.

Great all-around park for the whole family. Nearly 5 miles of walking trails, beautifully restored North Mouse Creek.

This park has everything. And its always clean and orderly. Wouldnt take the kids anywhere else!

Great accommodations for a meeting of any size. The people of work there was very helpful with setting up tables and bringing more chairs when needed. The grounds were well kept.

Best Park around anywhere in this area of southeast Tennessee. Nice, Cozy Friendly and most of all you feel safe in this park, which is always a good thing. If youre going to go to a park in this area, it should be Athens Regional Park.

Beautiful park, Only issue they trash everywhere. They need more trash bins by the like and I wish they supplied little garbage bags for guests visiting with dogs. But a nice place all-in-all.

Always go to Athens Regional Park on the 4th to see the fireworks show. It is always a great show. Any other time in the summer you can play on the playground or cool off on the splash pad. The have a walking trail, bike trail, baseball fields, soccer field, frisbee golf, and even rodeos! A nice pond sits on one side with ducks and plenty of parking. Very nice park that fits a lot of needs.

This park could easily be considered the best in a 50 -mile radius besides Tinsely Park in Cleveland, TN. They have a good trail running and mountain biking trail. There is no Greenway in Athens so I wouldnt recommend any type of road biking. Great for kids as they have a little water park. Fishing is allowed in the pond they have. Restrooms are available and well-maintained. Soccer fields, softball fields are in top-notch condition. For runners, this is definitely not a bad place to train for a marathon. A lap.around the park road is close to a mile, and if you want to dart of the path and go on their new .4 mile trail with awesome surface composite, it is a good experience as I have bad knees. All-in-all this park is a good park for all ranges of people and you should give it a try. As you can see, I spend a considerable amount of time and training-work here.

Went to the splash pad for my granddaughter birthday july 20. 2019 at 1pm. Bees were everyone i couldnt even stay to the end of the party bees were stinging.

We came for the eclipse, and during that time there were way too less toilets. But still, it was a great service that they have upscaled it to 10.000 visitors! I am convinced that everything is equipped to the notmal need. Nice park with a few Ingress portals️ and some toilets.

Did a photo shoot here and got some amazing mother daughter photos, not to mention we had fun looking at the ducks and fish

Disc golf course only recommended for those who dont believe they will have bad knees in the next five years. Beautiful location, but almost sprained my ankle a few times due to holes on the fairway in overgrown grass.

Nice park! Wish it had a basketball goal. But the play ground is a good size for kids of all ages. It has a splash pad also.

Great place to bring the kids the new splash pad is awesome. So many things to do there now such as fish, play at the splash pad, the playground, soccer field, baseball field, walk around the track and trails, and have parties at the pavilion.

I would have given it a 5 star if there was more shade for people like me. Red hair and sun dont mix well but at least the kids had a blast.

Absolutely phenomenal part. We have traveled the US and been able to visit many many parks on many different levels to be a local Tennessee Athens Park I would highly suggest bringing your children here it has a ton of things for them to do as well as soccer fields and a big sand pile. I would highly recommend this part to everyone
