We Met some friends here. The weather was so awesome for all the little tykes around us. The play structures here are fantastic. There was not one child here today, enjoying themselves. Great place to stop, have a picnic and play! Basketball court and skate park on either side of the playground area make it nice for older and younger kids! The bathrooms are true to public bathroom nature of pure disgust but other than that great park!

Really good sized playground, in decent shape too. We saw wasps flying in and out of the caps on posts. We were worried that there were probably nests. Also saw other families and kids there having fun.

Oh my gosh, this is such a cool park. One of our favorites. We visit it once a year during the summer. You get a great view of the water and the bridge as well. I love that the big toys here are all made out of wood. It totally give off that vintage feel.

Best park in Town. The structure is one that if you have smaller children youd want to go with them. Lots of fun, I took my one year old out and he had a great time.

Nice big park with lots for all ages! Basketball court, skate park, tot lot (fenced in and smaller equipment for little ones), and just so much space for kids to run off some energy! Well kept up too with clean bathrooms.

A great park with a really awesome bowl style skate park. Named after a city in Finland its a nice area to play basketball, football, skate, or just walk around and the dairy Queen is within walking distance.

This is a great park, clean and really big. Theres a skate park, public restrooms, basketball court, covered picnic area full baseball field open grass area and an epic playground with tons of slides, swings, wall climbing, a stage and has a little kid area thats fenced up really well. Decent parking and a dairy queen within walking distance, you can see it from the park.

Great place to walk & e excise though the constant stench of dead fish is a turn off!

It is a wonderful park. Great play structure for the kids. Well taken care of. My kids love to go every chance they can.

Looks like it is definitely a place to keep kids out of trouble.

Beautiful park, amazing view

I was visiting my mom here before she moved to NC, and i played a game of horse with some random guy that lived in the area. He beat me and said it reminded him of his son and such. What a wholesome experience. I shoot hoops weekly just to relax so this spot along with DQ down the road would be a nice way to unwind.

Such a great park! Easy to find, and great view of the water. Plenty of space to play for the kids, not usually overcrowded. Area for smaller kids as well. Lots of swings and slides. Its my kids favorite park... All 5 of them!

Drop in, push-push-push, boardslide, push-push-push, 50-50, push, feeble fakie, etc...and so on and so forth...rinse, repeat.

A place that Childhood memories are made!! I have spent years at this park growing up. Now my son is too!!

Great park has everything! Toddler area is big. Huge play structure great for childrens imagination. Nice picnic areas in the shade.

Absolutely gorgeous facility! Very clean, amazing layout. Wish there were a few more garbage cans around but other than that it is a beautiful Park to go to!

Family must-stop park everytime we travel through Astoria. Absolutely lovely. Wonderful, large castle-like play area with a beautiful view of the Columbia. So many memories here!!

Theres great play structure and swings. There are playing fields all around. One drawback is that it sits in a bowl, with hills around. There is a skate and bike park.

So many options, all ages can play freely. The railroad ties and bridges create natural boundaries for kids to stay on the playground. Its usually clean,including the restroom. Beautiful setting!

My kids thought that this place was amazing. A large fort like structure to play in.

This playground has tons to do. Fun for kids, and nice moms to chat with. Skatepark nearby but not right on top of little kids. They make them wear helmets at this skate park, LOVE THAT! The kids who use this park seem so much better behaved than the ones near our home.

Always a family favorite since you have a skate park on one side and a huge childs park on the other and basketball and baseball

Great childrens playground with a victorian flair. Restrooms. The climbing, stairs, slides are connected in a large play area that gives 2-8 year olds nearly endless exploration.

Great park grand kids have lots of fun

This is an awesome park. Centered very nicely in the middle of a good residential district. Good view of the Youngs River. Im not a skater, but the Skate park is pretty sweet looking. Perfect place for the whole family. Very large play structure for the kids. I go often.

My kids love this park so much! I think its adorable! Wish I wouldve had a park like this available when I was a child. We go there anytime we have a free day, great place to have family time and possibly even a birthday party.

Really cool park. It has a massive play structure with towers, slides, bridges, its crazy. Smaller kids love it. There is also a skate park here for the older ones. Great park.

We visited from out of town. A really great play ground for the kids. The old Astoria theme invites creative and imaginative play. Kids who had been complete strangers all quickly got into the play acting. Good separated area for the littler ones, too.

We enjoyed a nice lunch there at the park.

Kids love this park the best. Tons to do for them. Tire swing, baby swings, kid swings too. Sandboxes one for toddler area. Softball area. Basketball here too. Even a skate park.

The kids call it Castle Park and we now have a tradition of stopping here every time we come through town. The playground is an unusual design with local flavor and artwork. There is a good amount of parking, restrooms, several trees for shade as well as a lovely view of Youngs Bay.

The only downside was the amount of spiders in and around the bathrooms at the top parking area.

Park is beautifully design and well used. Infortunately the restrooms were nasty. Piles of feces on the floor in front of the urinals and flung on the walls and ceiling. Not cool.
