Wast of time. In my opinion there wasnt much to see. Lots of pictures, and reading about the history of the area. Not many artifacts, and memorabilia.
Great place to stop and visit. Has a lot of cool old history displayed and taught. Learned things about Astoria I would of never guessed or imagined and the lady at the front counter was very welcoming and sweet. She offered her knowledge of Astoria while we paid for the tickets and it was overall just a true delight. Only going to share one picture because really you should go see it for yourself.
Great history of Astoria! We learned a lot and highly recommend visiting this wonderful museum!
Love the history thats in there. If you wanna learn about the Astoria area this is the place.
Nice little museum!
Really informative history of Astoria
Great history
Has some neat artifacts, I thought the old medical equipment is interesting. I found the exhibit on the Clatsop people a little lacking and a little too “colonial” (whitewashed). Some of the language choice in the exhibits could be improved. But hey it’s the first place I’ve seen with framed KKK paraphernalia...
Interesting collection, especially the native American section. Well done and helpful in understanding the Columbia River area prior to Europeans.
The museums in Astoria are amazing. I loved the old medical stuff they had here. Super cool.
Beautiful!! We loved it..great displays..great views from upstairs of the waterfront.. knowledgeable, friendly staff...be sure to buy a souvenir to help support the museum. Take children to.museums!!! Teach them to love and appreciate history...
There was so much good information throughout - it shows all of the history for Astoria and Clatsop County. You will leane so many new things by visiting this museum!
My wife and I enjoyed visiting this museum. Very informative, plenty of vintage photos and objects that pertain to the early years of Astoria. We highly recommend this place; well visit this museum again and take our out-of-town friends who come to wonderful Astoria for a vacation.
Interesting enough. I enjoyed it.
It was kunds nice, this was our first time there
Lots of interesting stuff. Learned a lot about Astoria.
An well done small museum sharing the interesting (and sometimes seedy) history of the area.
Interesting, but some of the tecnology doesnt work
No real artifacts or pieces of history. Just trashy dioramas for kids to play in
This was a good museum to take kids. There is a lot of reading but you can skip some if you like. Its worth the six dollars for admission.
Moved in and loved it.
Best history of the Area...all in one place. Very interesting!
Great hustorical museum
More pictures and things to read really which most were a jumbled mess. The upstairs exhibit was pretty nice
One of the best small-town museums Ive ever been to. Wouldnt mind doing it again. And at the price of half a beer? Dont forego it.
Way informative. Do it. Try it.
A bit boring. Too much reading.
History museum, showed nice murals of clapsop indians, how people settled in the area. Very interesting
Learned so much!
Has fascinating details and history of Astoria. And the day we came they had a special display of Arvi Ostrom s art. What an impressive collection.
