Quiet, easy, paved path with optional dirt trails.

So someone should have warned this OHIOAN that this is a complete workout, and for those that regularly hike; NOT to bring visitors (mother in law from Indiana, in her cute sweater set)!!! sure - the views of the city (from the lowest climb possible-for us) are fabulous, but you gotta prep for this hike!!! eeeeee!!!!

Forested park with a wonderful walking path.Indoor event space, playground, and an outdoor area with two gazebos.Been to several weddings, birthdays, and get togethers here.Good parking.

Loved it so peacful

As you can see .. it was a grey foggy day .. but still worth a stop. We stopped on our way out of town so we had our own car but driving around town is awful .. so use public transportation as much as possible .. loved the trolleys.

A nice quiet place to walk meditate being nature even though youre still in town

Great place to just walk and talk with people. Theres great paths that go through small parts of the forest and are great to look around in.

Great park to go outside and decompress.

Its a one way in and out so if theres a lot of people at the park theres guaranteed a traffic jam of cars. The walk around the area is beautiful and there is a play area for the kids.

Its a nice quiet park away from town, has a nice club house u can rent with a kitchen, swing set for kids and hiking trails for the adventurers. Picnic tables as well.

Shively Park is so quaint and peaceful. Great little park to sit and chill or walk and see the wildlife.

Gives off a distinctly horror film vibe after 4pm.

I love this place ! Great place to get some air and it even has a hall you can rent ! Please if you visit the park, if you pack it in, pack it out so it can be here for the next generation to enjoy!

Nice park with some good low impact trails. A great place to take a pet. Kid friendly with quite a few Astoria Rocks. Some of the trails have some excellent views. Some areas need some maintenance and some of the trails get a little overrun.

Beautiful locale, gorgeous scenery, its a lot of fun. Great place to bring a tasty dish to eat!

Cool little park. Just stopped for a nice place to eat lunch.

Theres a couple swings but other than that kids were pretty let down. Cool spot if youre having a wedding, but thats about it.

Historic Gem, great place for family and friends to gather. The building can be rented from the City of Astoria Parks and Recreation Department and has a serviceable kitchen and a large room with a fireplace.

Peaceful and quiet, the grounds are gorgeous!
