Its a nice setting. I just didnt like the fact of people letting their dogs chase the squirrels. I personally feel that thats mean and a child should not see that.

My family and I have enjoyed this park for years. It has a beautiful creek running nearby, and there are plenty of amenities: baseball field, basketball courts, playground equipment, and a roomy picnic shelter with grills.

Great facilities, stream access, playground, sandbox, pavilion, track, and baseball field. Public access, though, means that there are often some strange characters around, so keep an eye out!

Nice little local community park. From space to play catch on the baseball field or bring just big enough to do a birthday party. Bathroom arent always unlocked

We came here on a Sunday afternoon. My boys had fun, there were also lots of other kids. There was some shadiness going on in a car visible by all and Ive heard its not safe after dark, but it was nice during the day.

It has a little bit of everything! A playground, a walking trail, basketball court, tennis courts, baseball field, and a creek!

Nice park. Only issue is the picnic tables are behind the concession stand so you cant watch your children on the playground if you have a birthday party.

This is the only park Ive seen with a Handicap Accessible Swing! This little gem of a park is lovely for a walk, with or without a companion!The trail is a great walk and it seems fairly safe. Grills, picnic tables, dog friendly, play basketball, tennis, or baseball !

It a great to have a cook out and have family time or group of friends to have a cute sand box for the little kids.

Lovely neighborhood park with a stream running through it. Played some soccer and Spikeball in a nice grassy area. Also spotted a pretty cool snake by the stream.

Have had many family cook outs here. Love it here.

Not much has changed here since I was a kid. Nice small playground with a sheltered area for group events or just to get out of the sun. A small loop around the baseball field for walking and jogging. Tennis courts on the other side of the stream and a basketball court behind the baseball field.

A really nice park close to town but far enough off Broadway to be quiet. The playground is nice, as is the covered shelter. There are restrooms. There is a Creek alongside. There is also a baseball field.

I used to slide down the hills beside the tennis courts on cardboard boxes, now i brought my Grandaughter to do the same over near the basketball court. Kimora Loved It! My dog Shadow from Brooklyn, NY had his first experience with crossing a creek, he was frightened at first but he thoroughly enjoyed the adventure, leading the way through the bamboo.

Its a great small park in a good neiborhood. I love it but I grew up in it so I might be biased

There is awesome paved walking track. Also a big pic-nic area, with benches, with grills and it has a roof. The restrooms are close, and kept clean. If you have children, the small kids swings, slides, and jungle gyms are rite beside the pic-nic area. Not to mention- TENNIS-COURTS-BASEBALL FIELD-BASKETBALL COURT.

Great park. If you have a get together without informing the Asheville park service ahead of time, some invisible person will call the police and file a complaint of anything from drug dealing and taking to harrassing strangers. Ive had this happen several times so I dont go back anymore.

Ive raised three boys at this park. Great place. Occasional bums sleeping on the bleachers, but they are harmless.

Kids love shooting hoops, riding around the track, playing baseball, swinging on the swings or playing by the creek-so many options!
