Van Bibber open space is a beautiful place to watch the sunset over the mountains. Highly recommend for an evening walk especially with a friend and good conversation.

One large wide paved trail that meanders between Indiana and east to Oak street. Easy path for rollerblading and walking. Several side paths, lots of space. Everything good except for the high tension power lines that are ubiquitous in that area.

This open space is beautiful. The trails are great for biking and walking. The views are awesome. There are bathrooms, picnic tables, and a pond.

This place is wonderful it goes from Ward Road to Indiana Street. Really great paved path for road bikes and little off shoe trails for hiking and walking. Friendly people. Nice and quiet on a weekday evening.

Just go out there and see for yourself. Walking with or without your dog, running, biking, whatever floats your boat.

This is a great place to go. Weve gone a couple of times. The trail is nice and has a great view of the mountains.

What a awesome open space. Van Bibber open space and s massive. Bathrooms on site along with picnic tables make this a great spot for lunch, studying or just getting out for a walk. Hawks can be seen flying over head as you walk along the trails that lead around the main Prairie site. There is plenty of parking on either side of park. Highly recommended for a visit.

It is a nice open space park that is good for walking, running, bicycling, etc. My daughter and I finally went the floor a bike ride and other than her wrecking and getting a few cuts and scrapes (which could have been anywhere and was not because of trail or terrain issue) we had a nice ride and enjoyed the quiet smooth trail. Would like to go again with other bike to take some of the dirt trails and get off the beaten path. Looking forward to going again on longer ride possibly connecting to other trails!

Cool little park. Indoor bathrooms, cool places to stop and sit on benches for a few. Walking trails, paved and non paved. Never seems to overly crowded. Ive even bombed the paved trails part before on my longboard

One of my favorite places in Arvada. Beautiful views, long walks. Not much elevation, which could be a good thing.

Great Park off Ward Rd and 56th with outstanding views of North Table Mt and other front range mts...Horses are allowed and they have toilets and picnic tables under awnings

Big enough to forget for a time that youre in a city.

I love Van Bibber. Great open area with a sidewalk and natural trails. Lots of horses and dogs in the area. Good access to parking, and a generous number of parking spaces.The only negative is that people dont pick up after their pets. Bags and clearly marked trash cans are available. I dont know why people using the area wont do the minimum by keeping their dogs leashed and picking up after them. Maybe its the fact that nobody picks up after the coyotes, and there are steaming pile of horse stuff near or on the trails. And yes, I think horses should have to wear some form of equine diaper when they are sharing a space with so many two-legged walkers, runners, and cyclists.

I am always going to be a fan of wide well taken care of local green belts. The people using it are also respectful of the space and others making it an enjoyable place to walk the dogs.

Nice trails, larger open space

This is a really nice place to go and walk in Arvada. It has some nice open space and gives the feel of a nice Mountain type park where you have the natural grass and some hills and and overall just a nice atmosphere. A lot different than a city park which would be more trees and mowed grass, this space had the natural grasses and rolling hills and even a few dirt trails as well. Overall just a really nice place to walk. And at the intersection of Van bibber & Ward Road, was a restroom facility

Van Bibber is an awesome park, not so much a hike but a walk. Clean facilities and and well maintained trails.

Concrete, groomed, and dirt paths b/t Ward & Indiana with access to 54th. Please stay on the designated paths. Leave the rest to the wildlife.

I love this place, wide walk ways, one clean bathroom . but we need a 2nd bathroom west of the parking lot . Us old folks would really love that, my husband cant walk with me for fear that he might have to pee or something. Im sure that hes not the only one. thank you
