We had a wonderful time here! The room was really well done, and challenging but not too challenging. The effects were really neat. I appreciated the kind employees, and it was a great experience.

This was an awesome experience! My wife and I decided to try Path of the Gods at the Arvada location for our first escape room ever. It was very challenging and I think having 2 more people would have made it a touch more manageable. But we made it through with just a few hints, and had just and absolute blast. We’ll be back for sure to see what other awesome adventures they can think up.

What an incredibly innovative escape room! We managed to escape from Experiment C73 in Arvada, but not without challenge. We very much appreciated the use of non-lock puzzles (although a couple were still involved) and the clever way of giving clues. This escape room is definitely meant for 3 or more people, as just the two of us had it a little more difficult trying to do some of the puzzles together, but overall it was fantastic!

This is the best escape room Ive been to. The set up, the storyline, the clues, everything is great. I went here for a team building event through work, and we all left with big smiles on our faces. This is a local, family-run business, and we had a great time. Highly recommend!

We tried one of the new escape rooms today, Egyptian themed. Theatrics was nice. There were 5 of us, loved how it was challenging enough that kept us busy. Nice that theres an unlimited amount of clue, difficult enough to use a clue. Friendly staff.

Me and my husband do a lot of escape rooms. This room was very good but the price is not friendly. We are only 2 people and paying $40 per person is way more than any other room. It is not fair to have to pay more because it is only 2 of us. We want to go back for more rooms but cant se spending so much.

We did this as a virtual escape room as a date night with another couple in Maryland. It was amazing! Our host detective was fantastic, doing what we asked without giving hints. It was fantastic and well worth it! We were nervous about a virtual escape room, but it was fabulous. We will definitely do another! A perfect date night!

Our group loves escape rooms and these are the best! Its so great that you can reserve the room for your group size, eliminating the escaping with strangers awkwardness. Our escape room team has successfully escaped from both C73 and the Hollywood Mystery room and we enjoyed both so much! They were challenging and so much more engaging than just unlocking boxes. We also love Stevie. She hung out with us for a while in the lobby when we came for both rooms and she is engaging and knowledgeable. We loved chatting with her. Bonus: the second time she brought out Maeby, an adorable dog, to hang with us. We cant wait to try the new rooms that are coming soon!

As an escape room enthusiast who has done over 400 rooms, Experiment C73 is definitely in my top 25. The set design is purposefully dated and clinical, embellished by the various challenges players will need to overcome. From a puzzle design standpoint, every puzzle worked extremely well and was more often than not tactical, creating several wow moments that I have not seen in any other escape room to date. In general, the puzzles strike the perfect balance between challenging and fair, which is extremely uncommon in the escape room industry. In addition to C73, the company has the similarly excellent Hollywood Mystery, which works as a great introduction to escape rooms while also having enough defining features to make it enjoyable for enthusiasts. The staff are also incredibly welcoming and are clearly quite enthusiastic about the escape room industry, which is shown in both of their games. I would wholeheartedly recommend these games to any enthusiast or anyone curious about escape rooms in general. This is truly an exceptional company

We did the c73 Experiment, just my wife and I, for my birthday, and it was a great time! The theme was awesome and the puzzles were creative and unique. The staff was super friendly and didnt let you spin your wheels if you got the puzzles right but something was just slightly off, which saved our bacon for sure! Thank you Conundrum!

The Conudrum franchise is one of the best in Denver! My wife and I have done over 2 dozen rooms, and all but one of theirs. So happy this new location opened up. Their puzzles are on theme, logically connected, and above all seem less with the experience. I talk to a lot of people about escape rooms and always suggest Conundrum first. Experiment c73 was awesome. Submersion at the Lakewood is also great, as are all their rooms. Two thumbs way up!

I am a great-grandmother and a retired educator. I brought my granddaughter, a friend and my friends 17 yr old daughter to Conundrum Escape Rooms. My friends daughter had been to an escape room before, at another place, and was not enthusiastic about doing another one but she reluctantly decided to give Conundrum a try. We did “Experiment C73.” Before we got through the first ten minutes she changed her mind about puzzle rooms. We all got immersed in the room and it felt like we were truly in this “experiment.”The room was creative, intriguing, realistic and well thought out with interactive challenges throughout. I could tell lot of thought and effort went into these rooms. There were puzzles, riddles and codes galore to guide us through the room. The story lines and themes were well thought out. Communication, listening skills, and a few helpful hints from Jon, one of the owners, got us working together to solve all the puzzles. It was a fantastic experience. While we were at Conundrum, I saw Sabrina, another owner, working on an upcoming Egyptian room. The 5 owners work together to create and build these rooms. They are excellent at coming up with great ideas for new rooms. Right now they have two rooms at the Arvada location and two others in progress there. They have four more rooms at the Lakewood location. They keep the place and the rooms clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when a hint was needed. It was fun to the last challenge. It was money well spent and we will definitely be going back.

So stoked that Conundrum opened a second location! We did all of the rooms at their first location and they quickly became our favorites. Already completed their other two rooms here and the lab experiment concept is so cool the way you need two people to solve nearly every puzzle. Best puzzles, awesome theming, lots and lots of puzzles to be solved, and just a blast every time. Conundrum is the benchmark for all other escape rooms in my opinion.

Ugh, I hate that Experiment C73 broke my winning streak. Still, I must admit that it had the best team based puzzles I have encountered in my 20 or so escape rooms Ive done.I was also pretty impressed with how many of the puzzles were original, and non-electronic based. To the owners, I love teamwork and would very much like to see more rooms featuring heavy teamwork required puzzles like this one.

The new room Experiment C73 is so great! The new room exceeded my expectations and it was so much fun! My group had nine people and we all had fun, I suggest it for about 6-7 people though. The room was great but two people didn’t have much to do because everyone else was doing the puzzles. Overall, amazing!

Experiment C73 - low 4/5 | Rank 45/145 (Good room with a little something that makes the room distinctive. We will happily recommend these rooms to travelling enthusiasts or locals.)Experiment C73 is a room that in theory has all of the markings of a standard escape room - a fairly generic set and theme, generally low tech, a fair amount of combination locks, no real story once you’re in the room, and no real feeling of immersion. Rooms with these properties tend to result in a death sentence for my review of the room, but looking back, this room was different because it really excels two specific areas: really cool custom, physical props, and unique gameplay involving said props. While the room doesn’t have any complicated electronic tech, it has a lot of fairly complicated mechanical components (such as custom woodwork pieces/contraptions, giant mechanical…objects) that you will not see in many other rooms, and this tech coupled with the fun gameplay made the room quite unique and enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend this if you really care about amazing sets / immersion (should probably go to Rabbit Hole instead for that), but if you’re looking for unique gameplay and ideas (which Rabbit Hole surprisingly has less of as their gameplay is far more standard from an enthusiasts perspective), be sure to give this room a shot.Story - You’re trying to escape an experiment or something, which is a fairly standard theme. The GM is in character as your doctor when you need a hint, but is fairly removed from the game. The puzzles are on theme, and while many of them generally did make you feel like you were partaking in an experiment, there wasn’t enough set/sound effects/triggered sequences to really support this and make you feel like you actually in the place and not just in a themed room doing puzzles. That’s fine given the focus of the room is more on the gameplay, which will be described below.Set - The set was your standard “escape the hospital” type of set - it was fine and fit the needs of the game, but was fairly standard as far as these things go. Again, the unique mechanical props were great, but the ambiance as a whole felt more like a standard escape room.Puzzles - The puzzles are the star of the show here, and they were really quite good. One in particular stood out to me as something that is such a simple concept but a blast to do in practice - I’m actually really surprised why this particular puzzle isn’t used in more escape rooms of this theme (maybe I haven’t been to enough of them), as it was very fun to do. Aside from that one, the room contains ~5 other puzzles that require interacting with some handcrafted stuff - the stuff was all crafted for the game in mind, so it ended up being a really unique experience that I haven’t seen in other rooms, and also pretty fun to boot. The game also contains some amount of more standard escape room puzzles - these were fine but not particularly exciting.Recommended Player Counts - The room isn’t really that big, and should be played with as few people as possible. Ideally enthusiasts should bring 2 - we’re not particularly great at puzzles and barely escaped so its possible, but things may be a bit tight and you may have to ask for clues. Beginners should probably bring 4-6, though parts of the room and linear and there isn’t enough space for everyone to participate in certain sections of the room.Personal Stats - Escaped in a group of 2 enthusiasts with under a minute remaining.taking a couple of clues.
