This is a fantastic park for railfans. Spend an hour here and youll usually see an amtrak train, and sometimes freight. Come on a weekday during commute time, youll see VRE too. Also a good spot for plane watching. The walkway next to the rails is very long and great for exercise walks. There are plenty of concrete benches along the path, though none have effective shade, which is why I docked one star. There are also turf athletic fields, bathrooms, and a few bits of playground equipment.

One of my favorite places to go and just unwind by a casual stroll to a brisk walk. At times you catch a game of sorts or do a workout... whatever you choose to do. You can walk to places for food, hotels, Starbucks, etc

Long Bridge Park is a park in Crystal City along the water near the Pentagon and the National Reagan Airport. It started out as a boardwalk stretching out toward the water with great views of the D.C. skyline and the Washington Monument. Signs along the way remind people of the significance of the area. Now there are soccer fields, a playground, and other grassy areas.

This a nice park for kids. They have a number of football fields, a spray area, age appropriate playgrounds, spacious grassy area (though most of these are slopes) and a long stretch of paved road for running and walking. It also has toilets, drinking fountains, and a vendo machine. It has a sizeable parking lot as well. We will miss this park when we move from this area!

In Crystal City, VA. Good place for a noon/lunch time walk. Often see people doing so. Can see planes taking off/landing from next door Ronald Regan/National Airport. Small Marsh type area/water nearby. Theres area to play sports too. Places to sit. Plenty of greenery.

Wonderful park Oasis in the thick of Arlingtons business corridor. Grabbed some rental bikes and explored the park, lady bird Johnson park and the future site of Amazon. Long bridge has sick and baseball fields, a raised walking path and modern restroom facilities. Abundant parking but bring your own food or stop by the whole foods on the way. There limited options from the concessions front.

This park has soccer fields, but mainly I go to walk the sidewalk next to the railroad tracks and watch planes take off and land at National Airport. You can watch the Aquatic Center going up at the north end. There are restaurants in walking distance and lots of apartments in the area, if you are looking.

Great place to view trains and planes. Wide open and great views of Reagan airport, trains that pass every 20ish minutes and nature from Potomac river. I learned to ride my electric wheel on all the paved walk ways. And now they are building a indoor sports center with a swimming pool. Seriously!

This is my walking park in the Crystal City area. I find It pleasant. It is also the soccer park for the neighborhood and Marymount College. I enjoy it though the trees are still saplings so this isnt your shade park, but walking, running, taking small children and pets walking this is a nice place. Because, it is close to the airport you can see planes taking off and landing. It usually peaceful and low noise. If you are looking for a traditional park, then you want the Mt. Vernon Trail which has an entrance a couple of blocks away.

Beautiful landscape. Definitely a nice walking path along the Potomac. Gorgeous views of the DC skyline. As well as Reagan National Airport. I give 3 stars because youre charged for parking, even disabled individuals. In addition, the restrooms werent equipped with seat protectors or paper towels which is unsanitary given the high level traffic.

Great example of taking undeveloped urban space and making a vibrant community center, athletic facilities and green space for humans and their canine friends. Public restrooms and plenty of parking.
