Woodland West Park is so peaceful, great place for young children to have a good play time. Benches give adults a place to rest or read. Quiet and serene.

Great local park with really very few visitors. Its definitely my favorite in the area.

Warmly park for your walks, dog walks, play with the Kidos. Awesomely, full size tennis court, swimming pool and basketball court/ indoors and out doors. Best part is the you can rent the recreation center [birthdays, sweet sixteen, weddings, etc). wait... its only $30-$60 per hour including tables and chairs.. give this park a try.

Great little park!

Another great Arlington public park. Theres a paved walking trail, playground, picnic tables, benches and plenty of parking. The Bradford pear trees were in bloom, which added to the beauty of the park.

Woodland West Park its a nice little gem. Theres a large playground area for toddlers and a larger one for older kids. Theres a huge field half with trees and half open space. Theres tennis courts and then there is a shared hitting wall for tennis or basketball court they also have a public pool. The parking lot is shared with the rec center so parking lot gets full if theres a lot of people an activity going on.

Great park for Tennis matches

There is a little something for everyone. The playground (well shaded!) is great for young kids, and the tennis courts and basketball courts are nice for older kids and adults. Theres also the pool and Dottie Lynn Rec Center next door. The courts could use a little work and a walking trail loop would be nice.

My wife has been going to the Dottie Lynn Rec center for classes. I just started going to the weight room and sometimes for open gym basketball. Its a nice place. Theyre repainting it now.

I appreciate that its shaded in the morning. Really close to the Woodland West library, so perfect for combining with a storytime.

Woodland West Park in Arlington has a wonderful variety for a small space: A pool, recreation center, two tennis courts, a basketball court, new playground and vast spaces to roam. This destination is more than worth a visit, and the recreation center is quite nice as well!
