Pretty relaxing and small park with some really cool and interesting ball statues to look at and take pictures with! Not too very crowded so it’s a nice getaway spot. Right across the Freedom Park and not too far from the Abraham Lincoln Memorial so it’s worth a shot to stop by if you’re headed that way!

Not a very big park at all, it is actually more of a traffic island. This is the portion of the park with the sculptures which capture their shadows on August 1 at 0932 sharp. The traffic here is heavy, so you will need to take care. The park on the main block is more spacious and has the tunnel. The park is close to some areas to eat and the Rosslyn Metro Station. Overall, strange, but easily missed if you dont know what youre looking.

Nice small park w benches in the middle of two very busy streets.

Very nice small park that is photo bait viewing through the tunnel at the sculptures.

Swell park!! The little area with the poles and balls is cool (we havent seen it on the special shadows aligning day yet), but the bigger area across the way is even nicer. Grass to rest in. A concrete tube to sit in. Sunshine to soak in. Worth visiting. Only negative is workers from nearby buildings come there to smoke and leave cig butts all over - yuck.

If you visit DC, you must come to have a quick picture of this place

Grateful Dead?

Not a fan. The annual effect of the shadows of the pools aligning with the imprints on the ground (August 1 at ~9:30am) is super underwhelming, and does not make up for the eyesore that the poles are for the rest of the yearThe poles are ugly but the other bit with the spheres and tunnel is cool enough.
