Good atmosphere with tables and chair and little shop stand for light snacks and drinks. Often see people come here to take wedding picture and other special occasion. Before the lockdown, when it is nice outside, there is often music and beer garden hosted here. The sound from the fountain make us forget for a second that we are surrounded by building and busy city life. Kids and pet are welcome here. Safe environment.

Ready For Serenity! This is a great place to sit and relax for one, two or a family moment. Talking, Eating, Reading or just letting your thoughts flow with the sound of the water is all you need to feel like you are in a place closer to nature than in a city.There are numerous places to buy a small or large meal (or your own favorite) to enjoy as the Crystal City Water Park takes care of the environment.

Nice spot to hang out and relax. I like coming here because it is clean and spacious. This is a nice sight to take pictures or just to be in the moment. There is a big chess set that is very fun to play as if you were in Harry Potter first movie. Its beautiful both day and night. I really like the lights that hangs by the tree. Very romantic and peaceful.

Wonderful tranquil spot with water curtains and channels. Youre not supposed to swim (hah, its shallow) but foot dipping is great. Flowers, a large chess board on ground, hammocks, colored dripping lights, a snack bar. Whats not to like?

A very nice and scenic park. The water falls are beautiful, The park is well kept and there is not trash all over the place. Great place to visit.

Love visiting this park. The fountains are always beautiful, clean and cared for. I like that you can go around the side of the park, climb the stairs and get a view from above. This park is extra nice to walk to during the Fridays at the Fountain concert nights (Summer-Fall). The Stand pop-up beer garden is open during the concert and serving in the designated drinking area. Giant chess, ping pong table, and comfy chairs are other highlights of the park.

Really love coming here. Almost daily on our walks. It has a dog watering station along side the people fountain and bike repair stand that we always use, right at the entrance to the Mt Vernon Trail. The chairs, hammocks and fountains ate a great lunch spot. Theres also a little Egyptian food stand that always smells great. Love how relaxing this spot is with the water & ping pong table and large chess board for everyone to use. Great gem of the city.

Beautiful place to just chill after a long hard days work. The VRE is right next to it so its easily accessible to VRE commuters like myself. During lunch hours The Stand hosts restaurants like The Peruvian Brothers and Rebel Tacos. Small little promotional events happen there too occasionally. And also has a couple outdoor ping pong tables and standing chess board. Great place to spend a few hours with your significant other or friends and family.

I told my (now wife) girlfriend that I loved her here. I proposed here. We took wedding photos here. And my toddler loves it. If you dont trust me, other couples do wedding photos and lots of quiñceneara. In the summer and fall Crystal City will put in events, like live music or outdoor yoga. It is a quiet green spot that is has little nooks that can make you forget you are 3 miles from DC.

The park is a nice idea, but needs tidying up. They also need to play a part in ensuring vending machines and liblic fountains are properly maintained. Good aspects are the public life-sized chess board and ping-pong.

Cute place to relax on a nice day with some trees that provide shade and wall of water that looks and sounds great. Sometimes they have live music on a platform in front of the waterfall and a beer garden. Had no idea this place existed but now Ill make sure to swing by occasionally.

They always have the cutest events here. Whether its Yoga at the Fountain or live music. bring the kids and your pets youre bound to have a good time

This is a place to ease your mind. You can usually relax and listen to the fountain during the spring and summer months. Use this as a getaway during lunch if youre in the area.

This is not a get wet/slip-n-slide water park, but an oasis for relaxing by listening to a waterfall drown out the city noise, or going up top to stare at a quiet pool, or play ping pong (BYO Ball) or giant chess, or sit with a friend at the chairs/tables under the trees with shimmering lights . . . . A place to visit frequently.

Beautiful place to relax and study. All the people that visit keep their noise level down. You can feel safe to take a nap in the red chairs right by the falls. Awesome!! Theres even an underground mall, right across the street. It stretches for several blocks too!

Great oasis in Crystal City, with plenty of tables and chairs, including a few Adirondack chairs and hammocks. There is a ping pong table and an oversized chess board. The Stand offers interesting rotating fare, like a food truck in a concession stand.

Love this location it is a photographers dream Landevery since Ive been going there is never a crowd unless there is a bust or you can go right across the street to the underground mall love this place to pieces.

I go here often when I have clients for photography. The area provides a unique backdrop. It has a really cool overlook at the top as well. Theres a convenient concession and plenty of tables to setup a laptop and enjoy a peaceful evening of work with soothing sounds of running water.

I love this park. Its the best place to visit frequently if you live in Arlington, VA near the Pentagon. Its a short walk from Pentagon City and its near the entrance of the best bike ride in town. Bike all the way to Georgetown if you make a left & back and thats 5 miles. Do it four times, and you biked 20 miles and visited DC twice in one day. Best exercize and lots of fun. I love this park, its what I call my favorite kissing spot at the top. Swirl up the top and youll see what I mean. Great place for yoga in the mornings too.

A pleasant oasis on the edge of Crystal City - with lots of shade, chairs, and right across the street from a mall with public bathrooms. If there is any downside, its that there is almost always a wedding / prom photoshoot going on, sometimes multiple - and that can make it busy.

A surprising little park nestled between Crystal Dr. and the train tracks. Complete with a waterfall wall, a cafe, and brightly colored patio furniture; the park is charming even if the nearby traffic occasionally impinges on its peacefulness.

Great little outdoor area with several tables and chairs for a lunchtime getaway with co-workers (many go on a good, sunny day); little place to buy food on-site and food vans often line the opposite side of the road; if you want a spot to eat, come early, as it fills

The first thing you see is also the most eye-catching—the long, curvy brown waterfall walls with enough benches scattered nearby to enjoy the zen of it all. Mind you—this isn’t a huge park and even climbing above the waterfalls isn’t exactly a view of the city… but it was still a great break from the bustle of the location. The little snack shack inside helps to cater to the passers-by but often I see people inside here reading a book or catching up on conversation. Unsurprisingly the waterfall walls provide backdrops to many a photographer. On certain(?) Fridays the Park plays host to a casual wine event—but I’ve only passed by this event so I can’t say much on it except it seems well attended.

There is a quinceanera here every Saturday and Sunday when its warm. So watch out for that. Vending machine that sells emergency bicycle repair equipment. Free to use pump with tire keys. Little booth that sells Gatorade and microwaved Indian food.
