Lots of ducks, at least in November. Gotta play dodge the goose/duck poop everywhere. Otherwise, nice park behind USMD to hangout in while youre waiting.

Very nice family friend park next to Grapevine Lake. Nice place to do some fishing and also take a swim in the lake.

Super cute park. The kiddos loved it. I however was terrified. The ducks/birds are super acclimated to humans. They approach and get really excited if you feed them. I was scared they were going to take the feed from the kiddos hands. All in all they had a good time regardless of my wincing lol.

Great little spot. Nice place for a lunch break, walk, or just watch the little duckies swim and sleep.

When visiting the park, please feed the ducks and geese only peas, sunflower seeds, and other nutritious items. Bread does not count because it can make them ill!

It was beautiful!! We saved this bird he was stuck in the water!! There was a lot of trash in the water. We grabbed what we could with a stick.

This is a beautiful place, and it makes me very sad to see all the garbage floating in the water where these lovely ducks and other birds are trying to make their home.What stands out to me the most is the quote from John Muir, embedded in the concrete at the entrance: When one tugs at the single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.Imagine how much more beautiful this place would be if people would keep that in mind.

This is one of my favorite parks in Arlington. The scenery is calm. It is relaxing to sit by the water and hang out with the ducks. 5 stars!

Absolutely incredible venue. Kinda disappointing security detail as they were very abrasive and condescending and I felt like I wasnt allowed where I was when I had paid to be there but fantastic lighting and performance by Sir Paul McCartney and of course ever awesome experience being at the Classic best Rangers Ball Park. How the new one is going to top the Original is beyond me.

Nice small park with a pond.

Love the ducks, geese, birds and squirrels but whatever construction they are doing is taking several months with little to no development besides slowly destroying the pond. The water keeps getting lower and lower and more filthy. The city needs to get in there and get rid of whatever f-tard crew is doing this and replace them before the wildlife leaves or dies!

We were fascinated by how many ducks were there!! They came right up to us and let us hand feed them!! Very calming but watch your step cause there is ALOT of poo on the ground Lol!!

It’s a very nice park with wildlife that’s very friendly and calm toward humans, I walked around with my 2-year old and they weren’t afraid to let her get close to them. There’s next to no trash in all the area, and with the location of the park being so close to a major road, around a residential area - it’s peaceful. I didn’t really notice the surrounding traffic, the cars and their music and everything. It was a cool 72 degrees out so all things considered, it was fantastic!

This is a nice little part tucked in between Parks mall and a lower middle-class residential neighborhood. If you just need a quick outdoor break and youre in the area, this is a fine park to visit. There are ducks everywhere, but thankfully they are relatively safe because the street is a cul-de-sac type orientation, so theres not through traffic. There are lots of benches located on the south side of the trail. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 Stars was because I kept seeing garbage everywhere, as people come to feed the dogs, and some people must throw their junk food in the natural environment, which I hate. Too bad the city doesnt clean it up a little bit, it could be much better with some regular maintenance...

Nice and small enough for short walks, watch out for duck poop.

There is only a track around the relatively small pond and a few benches. The best thing about this park is feeding the ducks. They are not aggressive and will come right up to you.

Many residents of Arlington do not realize that the man-made fountain is the centerpiece of a city park, but in fact this is Gateway Park. Therefore, this is an underrated area of Arlington that is well worth a visit!
