My husband and I went to see a movie just to relax and enjoy ourselves. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was great and came to us as soon as we hit the little button on our seats. The theater we were in was basically empty except for the two of us. We purchased our tickets online and just presented the purchase to the staff once we were inside the theater. The food was excellent!! I had the personal pizza. My husband ordered a Bacon Cheddar Burger with fries. We also ordered BBQ hot wings for an appetizer. It was all delicious!! The prices are not bad at all. The Burger was around $13.00, and my pizza was about $12.00. So its pretty reasonable. The tickets were $8.00 each. Not bad!! So go check them out, and sit, have dinner, or lunch, and enjoy I would definitely recommend this theater!!!

I been to this place several times and never really paid attention on how they charge the food we consume there I got the receipt and notice that they charge each item its own tax understanding was you add it all up and charge you the taxes on the total and taxes in Texas are usually 8.25% my bill total $67+8.25% comes out to 72 and change. I was charged $76.30 due to they way they separated everything and added taxes to each item almost $10 in taxes is this right to charge taxes this way? Or is up to the merchant to charge taxes as they please like the set up of the please but looking at it this way o probably will not go back

The staff was great! Very respectful and curious to my children and I! However there were a couple individuals hanging out at the bar (in order to get to the theater portion you have to walk directly past the bar, no avoiding it.) & cussing somewhat loudly. I only wish staff would have addressed this issue as my children repeatedly heard the F-word and angry indivduals. I do believe some were actually staff members of SMG. Otherwise, movie was great! Staff was great, and had a great time!

A great Theater, clean, organized, and a very efficient staff. Unfortunately the one thing holding me back from rating 5 stars is the menu, it has a similar issue to many dine-in theaters these days, too complicated of a menu. They try to have nice gourmet meals, when instead they should stick to simple and cheap. The quality of the food is definitely not worth the price

I loved this experience being my first time at the movie with full service and reclining chairs. That was a huge hit for customer experience.There wasnt a long wait and settling down in the theatre was easy. I loved the chairs, they were made for comfort, the table was adjustable and didnt feel uncomfortable and reclining the chair to watch the movie and eat was awesome! I couldnt wait to rave about this experience to others.The attendants were available throughout the movie as customers kept ordering.The food tasted great and quite filling. Definitely, I will say this experience remains forever and becomes the yardstick/benchmark for other cinemas.Studio Movie Grill comes highly recommended.

Usually a wait, luckily in the day we went wait was limited to about 20mins. Friendly staff, attentive and provide great suggestions. The food is also great, tea leaf salad is a must.

Theyre doing good with the social distancing. The movie prices are the lowest its ever been and the waiters were friendly and very helpful.

We have gone to this location several times and love the service. They recently remodeled there theaters and the new seats are awesome! The coconut chicken tenders are amazing!

Visited with family that rented a room. The service was somewhat delayed, as we ordered a drink only later to be told the machines were shut off. We received our popcorn 35 minutes after ordered. No one told us the machine was not working. We just continued to wait. For future, please let the customers know what is going on with their order. Not pleased. Hoping the next visit will meet expectations

Was in the middle of watching “US” and the movie screen starting flicking with colorful lines for about 10 minutes and then it completely stopped, Maura was very apologetic to me and my family and gave us Re-passes to come In for another show, other than that happening I had a good time there, food always on point. Good friendly staff, smiling faces. I will for sure come back, awesome job guys

Nice theatre with a good staff! The food was flavorful and made to order. We got the Mediterranean Chicken Bowl, California Veggie Burger and Coconut Shrimp and Fried Chicken Strip Combo. We also ordered Root beer, Dr. Peppers and popcorn.The restrooms and theatre were clean and updated. The seating is non-stadium manual recliners,, with trays and a call button to order your food and drinks. The order taker swipes your credit card when your food is ordered and delivers your bill during the end of the movie.

Service is very slow at first. Not bad once movie starts... Movie times are when seating opens not when movie starts. Food isnt the best. Seats are nice and comfy and room is wide open. Overall if you eat before you go and get your drinks before you sit down it can be a nice experience!

We were able to see space jam for only $1. Our family really enjoyed the movie. Had the theater all to ourselves. Fyi They did start charging for plain tap water dont know if its because of covid-19 or something they plan on charging forever. Also they kids meal seems a bit high in price its $10 for a small pizza there are other kids options aswell, we just ordered the pizza though

Had a great time with the kids. We were greeted nicely and every employee we passed said Welcome or Hope you enjoy your visit or Hello. Very attentive employees! The food arrived pretty fast and was nice and hot. Very tasty food! The seats are very comfortable! We were given mints after the movie and staff said their goodbyes. It was a great experience. Great customer service keeps patrons coming back and we will definitely be back again.

In true movie theater fashion the food and drinks are definitely overpriced but the experience was overall good. The servers are polite, theater was actually clean despite food being served and I loved the sound system they use. Great place to watch a movie but just expect a lighter wallet if youre going to get food or drinks.

Best high School movie ever

Excellent service. The staff is very friendly and warm. My main complaint is the food for the price. I have been ONlY been 3/4 times within a year but the sweet potato fries and cheese fries have been lukewarm almost cold each time. The last time I went they had to bring me more sweet potato fries. This time they were just as cold as last. No I didnt say anything. I just know not to get food again.

They have remodeled since we last went so the seats are a lot nicer. Nice big recliners. The downside is although the food is very good its way overpriced.

Untrustworthy staff. Our credit card number was stolen and charged 1,700 in tickets for local sporting events. Don’t use a credit card at this location. We attended last nights (Sept 1, 2019) showing of Good Boys at 7:30 and ordered food. We ordered a 2 for 28 which included two entrees and an appetizer. We received our appetizer but never got our entrees. After informing our waitress, she offered to reorder our food but the movie was close to ending by then. Instead, our waitress charged us full prices for the appetizer and we ordered as part of the deal. After forgetting our food, and ruining our meals, we were overcharged for something, we ordered as part of a deal, because of our waitresss mistake.

We had a very nice time at the movies. They have upgraded their chairs to a recliner to give you the feel of being in your own living room. Good food and fast service.

I enjoyed the theater and employee staff was on top of things. Everyone was super nice and attentive. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I asked for chopped onion with my meal and the server that took my order acted as if that was not possible. When I later asked for it he said ok I will get it for you when he brought the onion he said sorry but we could not cut it up. I found that strange. Ive gone to other locations and this was never an issue.

I paid 9.50 for a ticket at 2:00 on a Monday. The place was clean, staff was friendly. Sound was good, we didnt order food. Chairs were connected but roomy, my chair was ripped up pretty good but I couldnt move because you must pay for a specific chair. Did climb stairs, restrooms were clean but a few lights were out above the toilets so it was dark in some restrooms. When staff wasnt busy they were on phones. Overall it was a good experience.

New seating!! They recline and are easy to get out of when your short. Much better. Food is good. This is the only place we go for movies.

Movie and atmosphere great. Lacking severally in the food service department. Popcorn always burned. Stop ordering it. Hard to get something when they forget to bring it with your meal. Have to ask three times for my daughters dipping sauce. She was almost finished eating by the time she got it. Had to ask for napkins also.

Everything was just okay, it used to be great. Our appetizer came with the meal (not very hot), and it took 20+ minutes to get our drinks from the bar. They just didnt seem to care very much. The young lady taking tickets could be a little nicer. She was borderline rude and again just didnt care.

The seats are comfy, the food is good but if you order after a lot of other patrons the food is cold when it gets to you. The theater was filthy. The floors were extremely sticky there was ketchup squirted all over the carpet as we walked in the theater. We had to clean up food out of the seats. I am glad I carry hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were the same!! (NASTY) This is why we very rarely good to the theater!!!

Very nice theater. My sisters and I went for our Sisters Day Outing to see Proud Mary. I purchased our tickets for five dollars each through Groupon. I really love the comfortable seats. The popcorn could have been better. It was very dry and when we asked for melted butter it just tasted like hot vegetable oil. Other than that it was a great experience.

Went to go see MA it was an awesome movie loved it. We ordered the All-American Burger which was which was pretty good and we ordered the loaded french fries which was awesome. Ordered some wine which it was 25% off of the bottle which I was able to take home which was good I like that. One thing I did not like I saw that there was seats available and we had to sit all the way in the front.

They took away soda refills...on one 5 cup is mostly ice. Service was friendly but slow.

First time here and went at 4:30 to see a show. Only another couple in the same theatre to see the movie. Service came fast for our order and we had margaritas, husband had pizza and I had the hamburger. So neat to have the food delivered at your seat. Seats recline too. Only thing missed was they didn’t come collect our plates so the last half of the show our empty dishes sat in front of us. If they had come to clear in time, we would have ordered another round of drinks. Their loss. That’s why 4 stars not 5 as it shouldn’t be up to us to call to get things cleared in a timely manner. Oh and many of the staff were standing around texting so they could easily have cleared our plates, especially with only one other couple in the entire room. Still might go back to give them another chance as we liked the novelty of the food at our seat. Good was good too.

Went 11/21 to watch Ford vs. Farrari.... ordered 2 for 28... got our appetizer AFTER the entree was brought out.Went 11/29 to see the Mr. Rogers movie.... took 25 minutes for the waiter to come get our order. Food came out fairly quick, mine was piping hot, but my friends was cold. Pushed light for service, to get refills on drink, and after he never came, I had to flag someone down. Ordered refills and a dessert. Got the refills, but NEVER got the dessert. After the movie was over, I flagged a young man down and asked to speak with a manager, he LITERALLY rolled his eyes, and shook his head! Now, Jeff, the manager, apologized and invited us back for another movie to make it right. I will go again, but I hope my third experience has MUCH BETTER customer service experience when it comes to the food thanmy first 2 experiences.

They charged us over $40 for 2 plates of chicken tenders that both looked and tasted like they were right out of the freezer and into the microwave. They were awful! The chairs were nice and the movie was good. But thats about it. I remember having those chicken tenders long ago and they were so good. Studio Movie Grill whatever happened you need to stop right now. Were dissapointed we didnt ask for our money back for the food!

Went to see MA, on a date. The theatre was very cozy with semi reclining seats. I cant comment on the quality of the food, we didnt eat here. Great atmosphere. Great movie. Much better than the date.

Fish and fries-thumbs down on fish fried so hard and couldnt tell if it was chicken or fish. The batter seemed to be mixed and fried with rock candy.Popcorn is always scorched.However, floor,seats, and trays are always clean.

This is the best place in the area to watch a movie worth watching . I recommend buying tickets ahead of time on Groupon. The seating is your choice if you go early . I noticed that there has been some furniture abuse the last time that I was there, but I also saw that there were new seats too.I felt unwell after eating here a couple of years ago, so I no longer trust that food brought to me, and presented in the dark, is safe for my consumption. ( It could have been an isolated incident. ) We still enjoy beverages, but make sure to pay the tab before the movie begins, because they will always interrupt your viewing pleasure at the best part of the movie, to distract you with the bill .Some very nice, much needed improvements have been made . I encourage anyone interested to check it out!They have earned back the previously deducted two stars, and are at five with me, now.

Great place to if you want to eat good food while watching a movie with friends and family however, while the food itself is great its a bit pricey for what you actually get. The staff are very nice and friendly however, they seem understaffed which was directly proportional to the long wait for your order. But despite all that i would still recommend going!

Slow and poor customer service. Ordered my tickets for Spies in Disguise in advance. Had to wait to enter the theater because it wasnt cleaned in time. Order 3 milkshakes at 1245P. Customers received their food and drinks before I received my 3 MILKSHAKES at 105P. Will NOT ever come back to this place. Over priced and under appreciated as a customer. Dont waste your time NOR money!!!

This location needs some serious attention. The server behind the bar, Kent, was one of the worst servers Ive had to deal with in a long time. Im pretty sure he was ignoring the service call light at my booth and took his time to take my order when I got up and approached the bar. He asked another patron multiple times what they wanted in their mixed drink and set a to-go box on the counter instead of taking it to one of the booths.When I got inside the theater, there was no one to greet me or take an order. The interior was clean and orderly but the lack of customer service was amazing. They should take note of how the North Arlington location operates and learn a few lessons. I wont be back to the Highlands location.

Sports bar in the front and when youre ready for the movie, waiters come take your orders and bring you your food in the seats. So much better than standing in line for popcorn. Pasta was delicious. Dessert was delicious. Mixed drinks were delicious. Waiter accidentally scared someone in front of me during a scary movie, delicious.

Waited over an hour for my food. They finally bring it more than halfway through the movie. Charge me for the same meal twice and for a cup of ranch that never arrived. My credit card information got stolen and someone went on a Walmart shopping spree the very next day. 0/10

This place has really decreased in quality over the past few years. From the seats (see pics) to the food as well as the service. I had stopped coming for this reason and hoped that in the interim the managers/corporate would have updated, upgraded, or, at least fixed these issues. It had been over 7 months since my last visit.Food: Barely warm burger with equally warm fries. Requested a new order, same issue.Service:Servers have an attitude like they dont want to be there. Tried to make friendly conversation and was given a barely-audible response. The server didnt even know what movie was playing. Also, during the movie, servers walk around blocking peoples views.Seats: Damaged, uncomfortable and loosely held together. They should be put out of servcie, honestly.

This is a review from a long-time customer of Studio Movie Grill. As you can see by the receipt, I was charged over $5 for just one glass of soft drink without any refill. 3.8-star average rating is way too high for here.Because of the absurd price gouging at this theater, and the complete disregard of a customers need by management, who clearly didnt care at all, I will NEVER patronize this theater again. Period and without exception.I encourage you to think about this if you are considering a movie at this theater. They will certainly make you *pay* for it.The price for an approximately 20-oz drink was beyond ridiculous. When I spoke with management about my concern, they reacted with very little regard. They flippantly dismissed my concern.I am writing to SMGs corporate office about this poor experience. This is beyond ridiculous to overprice your concessions at this level.

They look like they are upping their game. Weve been several times in the past but this last visit was really refreshing. The staff greeted us and hoped we enjoyed the movie and in the theater the seat are new and everything looked clean. My granddaughter had nachos and was happy with them.

Food is good here. Seats are good. Screens are good. Management seems to not care much. I had waiters bump into my seat 5 times. Also had 2 toddlers running and crying behind our seats the entire movie. Complained to management after movie about toddler kids and waiter bumping. Got 2 food discount cards from management equal to $20. We spent money on 4 tickets and bought food equal to $100.

Never go late, they charged me $20.00 for a salad that had 3 of the main ingredients missing. The salad was layered so I had take a few bites before I discovered it. I pushed the button for service and they never came so I had to.leave my seat to go get help. I was greeted by a young lady who stated the kitchen was closed. She said shed send Management comes and brings a fork and starts flipping thru my food andstated she had to go talk to the kitchen and find out what happened. I said the kitchen is closed. She went on to tell me since some of the food was missing Id have to pay for it. Unreal or she would have to take it. I stated that I was starving as I had not had dinner preparing to have this amazing salad. Soooo much for that. This establishment is horrible and I will never go again and Im disputing the charges.

Great place to visit especially during early hours when parking is available. Typically weekends no parking so get there early. Great food, great environment and great customer service. Seats recline to a comfortable position for movie watching. Idea location for family night outing.

Went to see the Joker last night and the service was horrible. I ordered a vanilla shake, and my wife got a hurricane, after 45 minutes we called the attendant back and he said he was sorry but they were out of vanilla. I don’t understand why we weren’t told sooner. I ordered a Pepsi and popcorn instead which took another 20 minutes. And my wife never even received her drink after asking TWICE. The third time we just asked to have it taken off our bill since the movie was pretty much over. We never even received our receipt. It was just bad service overall. GREAT movie, BAD service.

Poor service. And I understand how theaters make money. But I just spent too much money. 2 adult a 1 child. 2 meals. 3 drinks.65.00 and worst service.

Each time that we come here, I say we won’t come back. This is our 3rd experience and we have not had a good one yet. This time not only was the service horrible, but I missed the end of the movie from having to get up and straighten out the bill. Never again.

Always a good experience, although can be more pricey than Im used to. Clean and well attended theatres and restrooms. Food and drinks are good. Seats are very comfortable. Parking can be difficult because of the shared lot with the Highlands Mall. Dont arrive late or barely on time.

Who doesnt love popcorn and a show? Comfortable seating and they have a pickle salt with pepper mixture you can add on your popcorn that actually was super delicious

Its a nice place, I go and watch movies there when a new one comes out. I was just there yesterday, and it was great, but I wish the food was a little cheaper. Otherwise I say its a good place to watch movies and especially on a Tuesday with $5 movie tickets!

I really like going here but my last visit was not that good because the person working the ticket counter did know what they were doing. The manager had to help him with the three people that was in front of us so I asked her to stay there with him so when we get there he get us through the line. She told me hes got because we wanted to get in before the movie start we were already in line for fifteen minutes. So she walked off sure as I had said he had to call her back to help him. Then when we get to the counter we tell him what seats we wanted when we get in the movie he had given us the wrong seats now understand I am in a wheelchair and the seats are upstairs I cant climb. So we wanted two recliners I got one but my sister had to sit in a chair a seat away from me because the recliner next to me they said was belong to someone already but know one came to that seats doing the whole movie. It was a horrible experience.

When you order more than $40 worth of food for your party to eat while they watch a movie the first thing the waitress should bring you is something to drink. That did not happen the food was great though they just have horrible customer service
