My husband and i are in need of a site to stay at we saw amazing reviews for higher grounds. I called up there to reserve a spot. The lady asked if we had dogs I was honest and told her we had 2 an english Mastiff and a Lab. She told us people drive around here to see if this is where they want to live so we cant have scary dogs running off business but she asked for pictures to see if they looked sweet and shed call me back. We havent heard from her in 4.5 hrs. Shes worried about scary looking dogs but when we drove around to check it out there were trailers with trash and dirty mattresses everywhere and it looked shady. How will that not scare people off?

Didnt go. But had reserved spot. The person i dealt with was very friendly & patient with me. Would go if i ever make it to oklahoma.

I have a travel job, and Ive got to say that I found a gem with this place. Theres a lookout tower (perfect for sunsets), a small pond, and a rec center. The owner, Anna, was very helpful and made my transition to Oklahoma easy. If my work ever brings me to the area again, I will definitely be staying here!!

My fiancé rented one of the camper trailers here for over 6 months. He had to clean it when he moved in because it was so filthy. When he moved out we were sent our deposit less $50 because the microwave was dirty. They even wrote a note saying why it was less. That’s fine. A week later we receive a text from the owner asking if we had deposited the check because they found a hole in the kitchen sink and needed the deposit back. So they noticed a dirty microwave but not a hole in the sink? Which was not there when he left. Very unprofessional & scammers. Not to mention half the time he stayed there the hot water heater didn’t work & he had to go elsewhere to take a shower. 100% would not recommend staying in this dump unless you are bringing your own camper to park. Even then i would go somewhere else.

Our daughters wedding was held at the pavilion at Higher ground. Anna was so easy to work with and accommodating to our family. We live in Georgia and she was so helpful with any questions we had and super responsive with messages. It was a beautiful wedding and a great day.

I am so thankful to have found this place. Shaded. Quiet. Love the drive down the road to the park. If you dont like being in the wide open or parking on concrete, then this location just might be for you. I really like it here.

Owners are very nice and accommodating. Well kept RV park. Tons of shade and secluded. Definitely will be staying again!!

I have held many events at Higher Ground Pavillion and the space is always perfect. Anna, the owner, is very accomodating and helpful. The space is gorgeous and the setting serene. I recommend Higher Ground to everyone looking for a venue for a special event.

Nice building for events, great owners, and a fantastic view for weddings. My husband and I were married there and couldnt have picked a more georgous view.

Too far to get to from main highway. Wouldnt want to do this in icy weather if I didnt have a truck. WiFi is only in the laundry area. I would want in my space. Dirt road = muddy.

HORRIBLLY RUN!!Something seems wrong with Ana the manager/secretary/receptionist...I asked for the price of rent there a month ago she never told how much (although she said they really did want more people there on an extended stay basis-thats what Im looking to do) but kinda talked me out of moving my new tt there because of distance.I called her today, again for the price, so i can make a more informed decision, she didnt know but would have to ask her husband. Fine.But then started asking me questions about what I was willing to do/sign to move there; I told her I didnt know till I knew the price, and just text or call me with the monthly price whenever she talked to her husband...and she told me I was rude for asking and she didnt think she wanted me to move there.???????
