A very short hike to the tiny waterfall area of Arrastre Falls. It is a cool little ravine area in the hills with some trees. I went in early Winter so it was dry even after a light rainfall. Based on other photos shared even when there is water it is only a small trickle down the canyon and nothing to amazing. The off-road trail to get here though is fun and worth it I think.

Beautiful and easy little hike, bring the kids for this little adventure on the Desert side of the San Bernardino Mountains, there was a little water flowing, most was frozen as it was in January on my visit, after they start getting some rain in late February it should be a nice waterfall.

Cute (little) hike near Apple Valley. Hiked up to the ridge and it was very windy! Went in early February, no rain but very cold with the wind.

Used to be really nice before the drives of people discovered it, thanks to the internet.

Too many people have found out about this place in the last twenty years, if you want to get away from civilization for some peace and quiet you wont find it here anymore, usually just a bunch of beer drinking loudmouths and flatlanders who disturb the tranquillity of the area with their weekend shenanigans. If you just want to view the waterfall in peace thenI strongly suggest not going on a weekend.

Bring your 4x4 if you want to drive up to the welcome sign. Else, just park at the 2nd power line tower.
