The Wings Bird Show at the zoo is a mixlst see attraction. From low flying birds to coconut the cockatoo and the beautiful bald eagle. The kids love it and so do the adults. The presenters do a great job of keeping it light and fun but still informative.

Excellent venue for shows. Intimate, and more importantly, well run. Lots of options for drinks and bathrooms (although one more bathroom option would be nice) and easy to get in and out of. Good, friendly staff. Well run.

While this is primarily a theater for the MN Zoos Bird Show, they also host concerts after zoo hours, for an additional charge. However, the bird show is very good and free with your paid MN Zoo admission. If you plan a trip to the MN Zoo, we highly recommend stopping by for the show, where the birds literally fly free over your head and some guest is usually picked to have a bird land on their hand. To increase your odds of being picked, have cash on you!

Ive been to several shows here and it is a great venue to see a concert. Its very intimate, and the sound quality is great. Its a fantastic summer evening activity. As its right on the edge of a pond, though, I highly recommend mosquito repellent!

The ampitheatre is a great place for outdoor summer concerts. The seating consists of benches which are more comfortable by bringing your own stadium seats. Food and adult beverages are available for purchase.

It is a great place for intimate outdoor concerts. Not a bad seat in the house. Arrive a few minutes early so you can make it from the parking lot to the actual theater and dont forget to being something soft to sit on.

Great setting for an outdoor concert(Jonny Lang). Good Sound. Seating(bench style) is a bit tight with limited leg room. Bug spray is a good ideal. Decent confessions (soft drinks.beer, wine margaritas, popcorn and some food) at reasonable prices.

Fantastic venue! Nestled inside the zoo, set in front of a picturesque lake, this is one of the best outdoor music spaces in Minnesota. Pro tip: bring a seat back to attach to the bleacher seating - your back will thank you. Or better yet, get tickets in a box under the awning and sit in chairs that are covered and protected from rain!

The show was great, after so many tries with the little one to make the show, we were able to and not at all disappointed. Wish there were more birds and whatnot but I think for the attention of smaller children it was just right. The personality at the 11am showing was awesome. Thanks!

The bird show was a lot of fun. My one year old was interested in sitting still for half of it so I consider that a win. The show is 20 minutes so perfect for little ones that dont like to sit long.

I was pleasantly surprised at this venue. Saw my first show here and will definitely try to be back for another. Its big enough that it can seat plenty of people, but small enough that every seat provides a good view of the stage. Shows are rain or shine (unless its really bad weather) so I got to sit through a rainy outdoor show of sad white-boy music and it was grewt, no one saw me crying.

The sound is good. The setting is cool. The seats are benches - you can bring stadium seats. The width of the seats is small, so if you’re near big guys - they’ll hog into your space and crowd you.

Dave Koz and the other jazz muscians were outstanding. The seating was tight but you could see the stage from every angle. This was one of the best concerts that I have been to in a long time.

Went to my first concert here... Pleasant enough setting...It may be fine for those with little or no disabilities or age related health issues...But for those of us who are no longer able to tolerate long walks from your parking spot through at least half the zoo, then try to navigate stairs with no railings and finally, requiring you to sit on a hard surface for hours with absolutley no back support...I would highly Suggest that you Skip this Venue!....The management really should make all of these inconveniences obvious on their ticket sales site...but sadly they do not. I survived with a little help from friends, but really...Never Again!

My Family loves watching the live bird shows at the MN Zoo that take place here. This amphitheater is a great place for an outdoor show of any kind. Restrooms and refreshments are just a few steps from the seats. Sitting on the edge of a pond on the MN Zoo grounds makes for a beautiful outdoor show backdrop.

For the money I paid for the concert tickets, the venue was junky, and concessions were absurdly expensive. I bought a bag of cheese popcorn for $8.00 and it was not only ALL crumbs, it was stale! Ended up throwing the bag of crumbs away. Lighting was off, poor band members were eating bugs. People sat wherever they felt like sitting, and bleacher style seating on a hot, humid day was awful. Never again. I guess Im spoiled by other, nicer, cleaner amphitheaters.
