We had such a good time! The staff at Watermark Tours was very friendly, professional and attentive. We took the tour with my family for my moms birthday and the staff made the whole event so special. We ordered the sparkling wine package & even got a happy birthday announcement from the captain. The staff offered to take pictures of us multiple times with the beautiful views around the harbor. Highly recommend!
It was really beautiful that day and things were kept pretty clean. I think the COVID rules they have (Masks on if not seated far enough part, masks off if you want when seated apart but if another guests asks you to put on your mask, you have to oblige) were fair. They started on time, give or take having to sanitize the boat. I think it was a good value and the crew was nice.
My family loved our tour cruise. We had a bit of trouble finding the boat, but we were able to call them and get directions. We felt very safe with Watermarks preparations against COVID-19. The tour was fun, but we especially enjoyed getting some fresh air out on the water. Thank you to the entire crew for a delightful time!
Me and hubby were looking to get away before the birth of our baby and we wanted to do something fun and different, and since I never been on a boat we decided to do a short cruise tour of the Baltimore harbor. It was beautiful, very relaxing, not too crowded and our host took pics of all the beautiful couples on board. Everything went smoothly and the price was very reasonable including parking. We parked at the Royal Sonesta and only paid 10 dollars which is a great price to park on the harbor which normally charges 25 plus. Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much it was the highlight of our night. They had drinks and light refreshments as well. The boat cruiser was so smooth we didnt even realize he turned the boat to head back to the dock until we started seeing similar buildings and lights on the opposite side. Definitely recommend for couples, buy in advance they sell fast too. Thank you at Watermark for making our experience awesome.
It is a slow paced very thorough tour of the area by the wharf to the Capitol building. I really enjoyed hearing the history of a town so old! Entire area felt very safe. Parking is a bear. Tour was two hours and you could only feed the machine for two hours. Other than that it was a wonderful tour!
We took a tour to St. Michaels and it was nothing less than amazing! The crew at Lady Sarah were very professional, kind and made the experience memorable! Shout out to the captain! She was great and knowledgeable! We will be doing this again soon!
Squire Frederick took us on an entertaining and informative tour around Annapolis, and patiently answered our many questions.
Did the walking ghost tour and it was great! Definitely worth the money and loved hearing the stories of the history of Annapolis. It was very well done and not scary nor tacky.
My mom and I took a 40 minute harbor cruise with Watermark for something to do on a weekend. It was a great experience--nice tour narration, clean ship, prompt departure and arrival, and overall a pleasant experience out on the water! As our cruise was during the pandemic, I can say that the COVID precautions were also well observed.
The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. We were given complimentary bottle of wine and glasses when the staff learned we had gotten engaged a few hours prior. Couldn’t recommend Watermark enough for a beautiful and scenic boat tour of the Annapolis coast!
Really great experience. I took my wife on this trip for an early birthday gift. She loved it. Highly recommend. Will do this again next season.
It was a beautiful day on the River and the staff was friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Ricky (the bartender) for his assistance with helping my mother get to the front bow and to everyone else that helped me getting her on and off. It was a relaxing way to see Annapolis from the water! Thank you very much. I highly recommend this trip.
We have been on this ride several times but this time was the first time for our 5 year old son. He absolutely loved it. We were very happy with the social distancing that was put in place. The crew was professional, courteous, and very friendly. Could not have asked for a better ride.
Great tour! I would highly recommend both the Sunset Tour and the Naval Academy tour. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff was amazing!
Great experience. Very informative history. Excellent customer service from start to finish.
We took cruise to St. Michaels very impressed with staff on board. Very friendly, looked out for our safety. The cruise was the best part of our trip. Would highly recommend!
Oh Em Gee! We used them for our wedding - could not have asked for a more easy going but completely attentive group. Everyone from Sales to our wait staff was wonderful. Shout out to Nick, Kona, Amanda, and Stephanie. Our day was beyond perfect!
90 minutes my sister and I will remember for a very long time! What a wonderful experience. Although I have lived in the area for 20 years, I still learned some things about the Academy and the Severn. I highly recommend!
Highly recommend Spirits and Spirits for spooky, historical fun! Soggy Boots Sullivan was a passionate, knowledgeable, and entertaining host
The haunted ghost tour of Annapolis was great. Alan was extremely knowledgeable. If you want to learn about some interesting facts about this city I would recommend this tour!
Have lived in the area for several years, first time trying a boat tour out and absolutely loved it! We took the 90 minute tour on the Severn and learned a lot about the history of the city, the Academy, the Severn river and some of the communities that have developed on the banks of the river. The staff and crew were really friendly, outgoing, entertaining and knowledgeable.Overall just a really fantastic experience!
I have good experiences with them today it was a very enjoyable ride with them I recommend to all good job keep it up
Totally awesome day on the Bay to St. Michaels. Lemonchillo for great Lunch. Keep up the great work. How about A Smith island trip.
OMG, where do I start? The team of people they had today were nothing less than amazing I missed the original boat tour I was hoping for, the boat pulled away right in front of me and my kids, I was devastated, my 4 y.o. was heartbroken but Erin and her manager did everything possible to cheer us up, we waited for the next tour and it was so worth the wait! Thomas was awesome too!Cant wait to come back!
I went here for a field trip and it was AMAZING! The staff were so in character and made it kinda like a video tour. It was so memorable and I will never forget this place. They made it so easy to be able to take pictures and they stayed on schedule very nicely. My favorite part was being on the boat. I was on the Harbor Queen and it was SPECTACULAR! The staff on the boat made sure we were safe and its very easy to get air in. They give a walk through that is so detailed yet so simple so that people are able to understand in an advanced way. I wish I could give 100 stars. Im coming again!
Enjoyable and interesting tour of annapolis at night. the guide was great with a lot of knowledge and very interesting stories. Highly recommended.
The cruise we were on was 40 minutes which cruised along the Naval Academy seawall, down the Severn River and out to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We were given a history lesson of Annapolis, the Naval Academy, and the waterways. I learned some new things! The Harbor Queen has seating on both the top and lower deck, with a full bar and snacks. The Harbor Queen can also be reserved for private parties, weddings, and more! Watermark tours has several other cruises out of Annapolis, including a Bay Bridge cruise, Thomas Point Lighthouse cruise, and a day on the Bay to St. Michaels!I highly recommend taking a trip on the Harbor Queen! It was nice to just sit back, relax, and have the wind blow while watching the sunset.
I had the opportunity to participate in a 40-minute tour of Spa Creek onboard Miss Anne II. Its an fantastic experience to see Annapolis from the river. Recorded narrator explained the history of Annapolis waterfront and the lifestyle 200 years ago.The tour is reasonable priced ($17 as of Aug 2019), departs every half hour, and does not require a reservation. Its good to be spontaneous.
My son accidentally spilled his slushy and not only did they clean it up immediately they gave him a brand new one. I highly recommend the Harbour Queen boat and Watermark
Myself and a few family members went on the Christmas Candlelight Tour of Annapolis. We loved it. I only wish the tour guide had one of those portable mini mics with a little speaker - the surroundings were a little loud in certain areas and the group was pretty large; unless you were close to her when speaking, you couldnt hear her.The tour itself is not too long and you stop multiple places, so it wasnt a hard walk. We ended the tour at a historic home and toured there as well. It was very well planned and the tour guide(s) were great and really knew their history!
Clean Boat, friendly staff. Great experience.
My husband and I had the pleasure of having our wedding reception on the Lady Sarah in April 2018. We struggled with finding the right size and style wedding venue to accommodate our 40 guest, simple wedding. We couldn’t have been happier to discover Watermark. Taylor and the rest of the Watermark staff we worked with were great for helping us create the memorable experience we wanted for our celebration. They had a thorough list of vendors to work with which made the planning process easy. We choose to create our own music playlist for the event rather than having a DJ and created our own decorations, but it was nice having options. Taylor assisted with a timeline for the event which worked out perfect. She was also great as a day of coordinator assisting with arranging décor and making sure not only we were taken care of but our guests as well. We initially were scheduled for a 3 hour cruise to the Thomas Point lighthouse, but we made a last minute decision to cruise up the Severn River due to wind conditions. The crew was wonderful in accommodating this change. It worked out beautifully because we got an amazing sunset over downtown Annapolis on our return which made for amazing pictures. Our guests absolutely loved the scenic views on the Severn River. While it is rare to have a wedding without any hiccups. Ours were so minor that it only bears mentioning that Taylor and the Watermark crew were instrumental in keeping us calm and improvising with resolutions. The Lady Sarah was perfect for a buffet style eating arrangement which worked out great for us. The boat dresses up very nice with linens and décor. We had the ability to make it as casual or fancy as we chose. With its two decks our guests could comfortably eat downstairs in the enclosed level and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine from the top deck. We just loved some of the unique options being on the boat offered (like cruising into City Dock already aboard the boat to meet our guests and having a personalized boat flag to name just a few).We have since taken other cruises with Watermark and have truly enjoyed each of them. If you are looking for a unique wedding or celebration venue that your friends and family won’t forget, I highly encourage considering a Watermark cruise.
It was a good time. Worth doing.
The team at watermark are great to work with. Everyone is professional and they customize your cruise event to your needs. On the day of your event they have a plan in place and a coordinator to make sure every detail is followed. I have photographed weddings on the Raven and all the couples and their guests absolutely love it they dont want to get off the ship when it returns to dock.
Fantastic experience. Went on an inner harbor cruise on a Monday and kids were free. Took 45 minutes. Make sure to be there 15 minutes before your scheduled time. It was a narrated cruise, but the captain stopped the recording every so often and added in other information about boats or ships that were in the harbor then or other things that had happened. Highly recommend! Worth the time and $. Captain and crew were fantastic.
Had a great time, like that the vessel has a/c
We had a lovely trip on the watermark cruising to the Thomas Point Lighthouse! The staff was very friendly and it was a beautiful day. Definitely get there early so you have a good seat! We found the bow of the boat to be the best spot for seeing the lighthouse heading towards it!
We took advantage of a worry-free boat trip on Sunday 4/30/2017 to the WineFest in St. Michaels, MD. Talk about a Professional Crew! We were on the Lady Sarah and our Captain (forgot her name) warmed our hearts as power boaters. Her engines remained running until such time that the Captain was satisfied that the lines were secured to her standards. Big Bonus Points! The actual crossings were pleasant and the crew made certain that we were well fed and hydrated. We would do it again! Thanks for a great day!
Watermark was a great experience to partake in during my vacation (yes, I went alone). All the other people (couples, families) enjoyed also. The sunset was gorgeous and the view of the Inner Harbour sites was AMAZING!! Id do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Alan did a great job, guiding us through Annapolis haunts. Highly recommend! We even got to go into one of the houses!
Great experience, and who doesnt love being on the water? The staff at Watermark is first-rate and the tour gives you a great overview of Baltimore. Easy access to the tour in the Inner Harbor.
The crew was VERY pleasant and hard-working. The cruise was delightful, smooth-sailing and informative. We will definitely be cruising again, we plan to hit every tour!
We booked this tour specifically due to promises boat size and social-distancing measures. Staff is not enforcing what was advertised.
Great tours of a great area.
Enjoyed the July 3 fireworks cruise to Sherwood Forest for our 20th anniversary. Captain Mel did a great job safely finding a good viewing spot. She and her crew were very friendly, professional and communicative. Great atmosphere! Great way to spend a summer evening!
Great staff very professional
We unfortunately selected in advance a very cold and rainy day to take our cruise. When we walked up to the Watermark booth, they were awaiting us, as apparently we were the only reservations for that time. We were invited to stand inside their booth to keep dry until the boat was ready for us. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our cruise in covered lower level of boat.
This is a beautiful place to visit, shop at the boutique stores, go on a boat tour, grab a bite to eat, and get the best homemade ice cream in Maryland. Highly-recommended!!! Enjoy yourselves!!!
We toured the Naval Academy and highlight stops in Annapolis last weekend with Carolyn (sp?). It was just myself and a friend so we had her total attention. The tour was thorough and full of facts that I, an Annapolitan for over 20 years, had not heard before. Carolyns knowledge is excellent and she delivered it clearly, with good pacing and with an upbeat presentation. I have done other Watermark tours and boat rides and they are the go-to if you are visiting our wonderful historic town.
Great experience with our captain and his crew. I have been to Annapolis several times and this was the first time I have done this trip. It was well worth the money and we learned a lot about the area during the trip. Thanks for a great experience!!
My friends visited for a college weekend and we booked the Historical Walking Tour in Annapolis. Squire Richard was our tour director and he was so knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in visiting Annapolis.
Our tour guide, Rhonda, was amazing and SO knowledgeable! Loved seeing the Naval Academy!
Good slowly water tour. You can take nice pics from the boat of the bay. Some view is very nice.
The boat ride with Watermark to see the fire works in Annapolis was outstanding! Great staff and bartenders. Good time for the whole family.
I had a great experience working with Watermark in Annapolis. Our wedding was aboard the Catherine Marie yacht. The captain, crew, coordinator, bartenders, and catering staff were phenomenal.
I took my first cruise in 1976 with my high school sweetheart (our first date) Now my wife. 43 years have past since that 1st cruise. We try to take a trip with Watermark Rock N River Cruise once or twice a year.Never have been disappointed, Great Crowd, WRNR picks the best bands (Thank You Carrie and Nick), Good Food and Drink - See You There
Every member of the staff we interacted with were absolutely friendly and helpful, from the ticket taker on the street, the crew on the pier, to the boat captain, etc. Cannot recommend enough.
Nice tour boat in Annapolis MD to get guided water tour of the Naval Academy.
If you expect good service or fair treatment then this is not the place. Paid for a trip that I was discriminated against and disrespected by staff. Not worth the experience for the money.
Day trip to St. Michaels from AnnapolisReally wonderful trip! The crew was great and very friendly - happily answered any questions about St. Michaels (it was our first time visiting the town). The ship was comfortable and clean. Despite the weather not cooperating (it was pouring in St. Michaels), my family had a great time. The trip ticket comes with a ticket to the Maritime Museum which was a nice open museum setup along the dock. There are great restaurants and bars in the town. The main street has a ton of shops for home goods, souvenirs, and hand made crafts. For those interested, there is a brewery and winery walking distance from where the ship docks.I will definitely recommend this Watermark offer to friends and buy tickets again!
We had a great time. The music was really good and even though it rained for part of it we were warm and dry. Enough bartenders so no backup. Plenty of rest room space so no lines. EVERYBODY was having a great time.
We were in town for Marine Corps Invitational marching band competition and went on the 40 minute tour. Great ride, friendly staff, pointed out a lot of great sights!
Great boat tour. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great trip and views. Captain was very informative.
I took the mothers day cruise aboard the Catherine Marie. The interior was elegant and simple with lots of polished wood grain. There were two dining floors and an upper uncovered deck with two bars (drinks not included). It was a bit cramped on the inside, especially on the first floor where lines for omelette and waffle stations wrapped in around the narrow aisles between tables. And there were practically no empty seats. This may have been because the rain kept everyone inside and they werent expecting that. Or they overbooked. The food was good but it was served on cheap Styrofoam plates which was disappointing, and a stark contrast to the otherwise classy interior. The journey on the Severn River was beautiful despite the rain. 8/10 would try again on a sunny day.
Our family had a wonderful experience. Even though we were unable to go to the lighthouse due to a thunderstorm, our cruise up the Severn River was smooth and relaxing. The Captain and crew were very accommodating and professional.
Good views, nice bar service and a smooth ride. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary on the sunset trip and it did not disappoint. Would definitely do it again!
I called around to many cruise companies in the area. Watermark had the best price and option for our group. We were a group of 12 adults celebrating a birthday. I was able to get all the tickets in advance for the Thomas Point Lighthouse 90-minute trip. Plus, I was able to buy discounted beer vouchers. Our group had a blast. The Captain was great and very pleasant staff.
Mistress Leslie...best guide ever! Extremely knowledgeable and has the energy of a gazelle! We had a great tour that was even extended for those that wanted to stay. Highly recommend Watermark!
Alice provided an amazing and comprehensive tour of Annapolis, which was more fun than I ever expected. I plan to do it again with other friends and family.
My girlfriends and I had an excellent experience on the Watermark cruise to the St. Michaels wine fest. The crew on the boat were very friendly and helpful. The boat was clean and the snacks were good. This is our 2nd year for this trip and we are looking forward to next year! Thanks for a great day!
We did both the Four Centuries Walking Tour and the Harbor Queen Tour in Annapolis, MD. Both very enjoyable and at reasonable in price. The walking tour lasted 2.5 hours. Miss Mary, who was the guide on our the tour was very knowledgeable, informative and excellent in her presentation. Highly recommended. The tour of Annapolis Harbor on the Harbor Queen was also very enjoyable and informative. We happened to be on the maiden voyage for the 2018 season. The ride lasted approximately 50 minutes and highlighted facts about the Naval Academy as seen from the water, the Severn River, the Chesapeake Bay, and the Annapolis Harbor itself. The captain and crew were professional and very friendly. Highly recommended.
My sister and I went on a walking tour with Jamie Foster (Mistress Marian) as our guide. I have lived in the Annapolis area since I was a toddler, and am very familiar with downtown Annapolis. It was nice to be a tourist for a change. We walked down some streets I dont normally go down on my visits so it was nice to see buildings and places I wasnt very familiar with, or havent payed much attention too, and understand their history better. My 16 year old sister also learned a lot, and was able to fill out several pages of notes in a notebook she carried with her (she is currently writing a comic that is a locally based historical fiction, and has been taking great interest in learning about as much local history and folklore as she can). Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local history, and how different things tied together. She was also kept the child who was on the tour very engaged, interacting with him and having him help her show and introduce things. The groups are not very large so you never feel lost in a crowd. I dont recall any steep hills, just one thing of steps to the state building. Frequent stops, and benches to sit if needed. Many of the stops are under trees too, which is nice for shade (or in our case a very light drizzle that came and went a few times). You leave from the visitor center and end at the dock, ego alley, which is the heart of the town (it also has public bathrooms, a info booth, and other amenities if needed) so that you can finish off enjoying the best of downtown Annapolis, a place you now have a better understanding and appreciation for.
We went down there and saw all the boats and cool view of the river n bay.
Staff was great. Easy to book the cruise online. Smooth sailing, no problems with boarding, etc. Enjoyed the time at St. Michaels and the ride to and from. Parked in a garage up the street from the doc and it was easy walk to and from the dock.
We had a great time. Band was fantastic. Crew was great. Beverage $ a bit high.
Great boat rides, best walking tours
The night we scheduled our Annapolis walking ghost tour, we happened to get a nor’easter. The tour went- rain or shine... or nor’easter. The guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable but we were extremely surprised they didn’t cancel due to pouring rain and wind. It was quite miserable and therefore very unenjoyable. They should probably cancel or at least shorten the tour in conditions like that. I actually felt very sorry for the guides.
Do not book online...even in the best of circumstances you will loose all your money if for any reason you do not get to the boat on time...also the boat pictured is not the boat you will necessarily go on ....the real boat is a very large impersonal boat sort of like a big barge
It was good until it went bad. The last hour the heat seemed to cut out (windows even iced up on lower deck). The mens room had water and backing up issues. And a pretty good list when the fireworks went off. (this was NYE)
It was a beautiful day to be out on the water. The boat tour to the lighthouse was nice. Only one on this tour though.
Love it
What a nice tour! The Captain and crew were top of the line. Had a great time. Highly recommend the Severn River Cruise.
We had a great time! The guided walking tour was both educational and entertaining. The guide also had some artifacts of old times that made the stories more alive. The tour lasted about 2 hours.
Always have an awesome time on Day on the Bay Cruise!! Highly recommend this adventure to everyone who enjoys being in the outdoors!!
It wasnt easy getting tickets to this event. I was on a wait list and was notified that tickets became available. I immediately jumped online and was able to get 4 adult and 3 childrens tickets. We arrived to the dock at 12:30, and board the boat around 12:50. Unfortunately, the prime location to see the Blue Angels fly was on the upper deck which was not able to accommodate everyone with seating. The crew did bring up a few chairs (3) from the lower enclosed area. The boat departed on time around 1:15 and went out to the middle of the Severn River for optimum viewing. It was a beautiful clear day in the mid 80s. Once we settled in our spot on the water, the waiting began. The captain did a good job explaining that although the show was to begin at 2:00 that didnt mean it would. He was right, the jets began to appear around 2:25. The hour wait prior to the show was not bad as the lower deck offered refreshments ($) and air conditioned seating. Restroom were also available. Once the show began it was amazing!! The kids wore headphones to reduce the noise. The Blue Angels are truly a site to see. Once the show was over (approx. 45 min.) our boat headed back to the dock. We were on land again around 3:45. This tour company are master professionals. Everything went smoothly, without a hitch. It was a great day.
The physical address of the walking tour was never posted. Ended up going w/another company that gave an excellent private motorized tour that covered most of the historic section and surrounding neighborhoods. The boat tour times conflict w/walking tours so there was not time to do both anyway. No one in the office to get answers before the tours are on the road.
Beautiful boat, professional staff/bartending services. Boat couldve been a little colder on the levels offering A/C but it was a wonderful experience nonetheless.
The Historic Ghost Walk was a blast! Lots of fun and so interesting.
I had a great time on my cruise. Everyone on staff was super nice and made the experience even better. I highly recommend any tour you are looking for you cant go wrong here!
Great excursion! I took my five and two year old today. They had a blast and the forty minute cruise was the perfect amount of time. The narration was interesting and the crew was very friendly.
Every single jaunt weve taken has been outstanding. This July 3rd we did the fireworks cruise again. It was in the middle of a heat wave. I thought surely theyd run out of the ice cold bottled water, but they did not! Great thinking and planning ahead on their part. Plus, the gin & tonics were just right! The captain extended the cruise before dropping anchor for the fireworks to give us as much breeze as possible. Cannot say enough good things about everyone there!
Had a wonderful cruise from Annapolis to St Michaels! Crew and Captain were wonderful, professional and full of personality. Boat was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed every minute and will definitely be a repeat customer.
This was a great idea, but we arrived 20 minutes before the boat left and there was no seating available. The free snacks provided were very limited and the drink selection was limited even though it was advertised otherwise. It was s fun experience with my family, but it was not worth paying that much.
It was a very special time to spend in Annapolis I enjoyed the boat ride very professional yet friendly at the same time the fireworks were spectacular afterwards the captain let us relax and cruise the bay to come in when on appointed time highly recommended
