While the playground leaves something to be desired, this park has it all! Theres a tennis court, a trail, and a field with nice rolling hills that has some picnic tables and grills.

Its very nice quiet park

Sylvan is a park that could benefit greatly from expansion. There is a large amount of adjacent land that is undeveloped and would make a perfect extension. It could really become a great park if the city werent so disinterested in this side of town.

I grew up in the neighborhood so Ive seen all yhe improvements the city has made to the park and its surrounding areas. Namely the benches up on the hill next to bbq grills if needed are a major plus. Thats just one of many great things about Sylvan park. The new Tennis Court is amazing by the way. Definitely a must visit.
