Really enjoyed the park! Primarily walked. Took the path to Argo, and crossed the river and back to the park. I also walked most of the disc golf course. I was impressed how well it was marked and the multiple tees for each hole. I labeled the closest tee as senior tees so I can feel good using them.
Has Disc Golf course well maintained and chipped, kayaking, fishing spots, canoe rental, a dirt bike course with jumps, RC car track, walking paths, nice place to stop if you have the time.
Great walking trail along the river. This park has some nice trails but its developed with a disc golf course and bike pass in the walk takes you into a more industrial area.
A beautiful park right off the 23/14 freeways. Great for biking, trail walking, running... It is also an easy entrance point for a canoe or kayak. There is a Frisbee Golf Course, a dirt biking course (with big mounds) tucked in here too. It is not on the map but it is there. People often come here to fish under the freeway or along the banks. Today is a quiet lovely summer evening and it is a perfect place to be. Someone had even put locks on the bridge (like the love locks bridge in Paris).
My boys love the BMX bike track. We enjoy walking the trails and playing disc golf. Sometimes it is very crowded.
Great place to disc golf, been taking my kids here lately and they always have fun, just dont loose your disc in the woods! Cant beat the price either as its free!
Great use of the park area. Loved the frisbee golf course and trails.
Fun 9 hole disc golf course. 3 tee pads per hole. Plenty of bike/walking/running paths. River access too.
Bandemer is a very nice 9 hole disc golf course. The course has lots of woodchips which is nice. The course is well maintained and the parking lot is 10 feet from the course.
Great park to ride my bicycle on the B2B trail.
Nice and quiet. Cute little park
Very nice .. I took some nice pictures here.
Gorgeous+tranquil♡.
Very nice park on the river.
Nice (long) peaceful park. Good walking trails, good parking & canoe/kayak storage rental is available from the city. Also shelters are available to rent. Nice physical buffer from the disc golf. Lovely views of the river, pretty clean composting toilets (I have kids & have been to events here, gotta think of these things!). Great star, storm & cloud spotting at night. Doesnt feel like its in Ann Arbor to sit on the docks at night & watch stars. Picture includes part of the dock.
Very beautiful place as family!
Great for its size.
The disc gulf course is challenging but awesome.
First time there to play disc golf nice place too bad Im not any good
A short 9 hole course, odd layout for the tees/baskets, and a fair bit of walking/jogging traffic that impedes slightly into the course. Parking is close and free, so thats a large plus!
Great views and a serene hike. Not too crowded for a winter Saturday afternoon.
Really nice park with a lot to explore and do
Always a good time, sun or clouds
Lovely area for swimming or relaxation.
Played disc golf here. Long tees by the time we were done it was busy. I like the improvements they have made.
Great spot but a bit crowded for these times
Great beginner disc golf course. The trail is well-kept as well
One of the prettiest views from a freeway underpass Ive ever seen. Love the beautiful views of Bird Hills, Argo Nature Area, Argo Dam, Argo Cascades, Huron River and the skyline. Trail gets busy with bikes and runners, young/learner cyclists can be a little overwhelmed. Good views of people illegaly crossing railroad tracks. It will be amazing when you can connect to Bird Hills, Barton Nature Area, the Treeline and the Michcon development. Dam crossing is way too narrow and is highly treacherous when ice is present.
It was kind of hard to find. But that kind of gives it a secluded and secretive nature. Which is needed in a Hidden Gem kind of place.
Beautiful park along the Huron
Great place to bicycle, hike, or sunbathe. Beautiful views of the Huron river. Lots of rowing activity going on and its very relaxing and fun to watch
Great out doors experience
Walk your way to health and happiness through the paths of Bandemer Park !
Great for having some me time love to take my favorite book and a cool drink and water and snacks.
Unusually few people, lots of parking, could use a cleanup of the litter
Lots to do and a lot going on. People disk golfing, fishing alongside the riverbank, jogging, etc. Large enough that you can still lose yourself in it, if you prefer seclusion.
Beautiful well kept park with an interesting little village and a river running through it. We had a great time and will return again soon.
For years Ive been going to University of Michigan Hospital and was always seeing this park from the highway. I always thought it looked so beautiful. So finally dropped down and it didnt disappoint.First there is the river with plenty of easily accessible areas for kayaks. They even have rentable kayak lockers. There is a disc golf course in a wooded area that looked fun and challenging. There is paved trails for bikers. There is also a really nice dirt track for bikes with great hills and jumps. I was shocked I didnt see a soul out there tearing it up.Easily packed trails will wind you along the river with many smaller trails that will get you down to nice fishing spots.I didnt get too far but found a beautiful pond they use for study that was full of sunning turtles, beautiful birds, the music of calling frogs and birds and buzzing damsel and dragon flies. I even got into a staring contest with a muskrat. All the beauty you expect from wooded riverland in Michigan. Its a large and amazing park system with ample parking, picnic areas, clean bathrooms (plumbing free type so remember hand wipes) and a large bonfire spit so they definitely have scheduled activities. Its become my favorite spot to unwind after a day of cancer testing down at the University. An absolutely phenomenal park.
One of the most beautiful parks in the city.
Classic 9 hole disc golf with 3 tee options. Also dont forget your BMX bike.
Lovely green space with easy biking distance of downtown. Disc golf, woodsy hiking, and a great spot to start a canoeing trip
Pretty views of the river, and nice shade
Considering the running water so near its surprising to see so many mosquitoes, but otherwise a great trail for running. Needs better/more accessible park entrances
On the path I found this hornets nest
For getting your steps in, talking your dog for a walk, playing disc golf or launching your watercraft, this is a great Park, near my home, asphalt trail as well as woodsie ones. Runners, bikers and walkers all can enjoy the river view while doing their thing! UM rowers launch along this part of the Huron River.
You need to go see this place. Beautiful.
This is a good place to park and get on the B2B trail. There is disc golf here too.
Great area for river access. I used to play ball with my dog in the river at Bandemer.
Didn’t see much, stayed in one part. Great place to run.
Great park for all sorts of activities!
Nice walking trails along the river. Its a peaceful natural area, with room to bike.
Love that I can swim in the Huron so easily from the dock
Has a lot of things to do. You just have to be an outdoorsy kinda person
Love this park!! Such a beautiful disc golf course!!! But make sure to wear your bug spray!!!
The frisbee golf course is awesome, its tucked into the trees and nature which makes the experience really enjoyable.
Awesome 9 hole disc golf course and miles of beautiful trails and a view of the river.
Beautiful park, many trails for walking, running. Kayaking, canoeing, many picnic areas. Love it
Nice park well maintained, great disc golf course. For amateur and novice players.
Good 3 lvl 9 hole course
Beautiful park and so far my favorite disc golf course! I am still learning and the short pads offer me an opportunity to get par most of the time which is more than kinda cool.
Very nice disc golf course. Just really wet when we went.
10/10 would recommend. it can be crowded in peak times but its free completely restrooms and a bike path some honey holes by the river if you can find em the disc golf course is choice and is beginer friendly 9 holes 27 concrete pads each boasting a different look at the basket radically changing the holes woodchipped fairways its in the heart of ann arbor so peace and love man
This is a wonderful hidden gem of a disc golf course. 9 holes throughout the woods and red, white and blue tees! Each look at the basket is interesting and unique to the others. Glow disc golf is done here.
Its nice but its got too many mosquitoes. Go in the winter
Great place to go for a walk
A great place to run and enjoy riverside activities. The disc golf course is a local favorite. Three difficulties in a wooded setting, but with no elevation changes. Casual glow golf every week almost year round. Google maps HURON BRIDGE PARK or youll end up on the wrong side of the river, park, and highway, going in circles.
A cute hidden gem.
A nice little disc golf course
Another one of Ann Arbors great parks. Part of the border to border trail, follows the Huron River from the Barton Nature Area to the Argo Cascades. Disc Golf. Dirt bike area. And a great place to walk your dogs.
Nice place for a family walk, or a good run
For the disc-golf course: Nice 9-hole (3 cement tees per basket) course in the woods. Each tee is a unique shot. Playable in nearly all weather, year round, and caters to any skill level.
Really nice park has an old wood bridge you can drive across. Kinda cool
A mid range disk is all you need. The best part is the family of dear that watched me on hole 8
Great fishing spot
Beautiful park with river access, Disc golf, walking trails, a pavilion with grills
The disc golf course is fun with three different looks
Nice path by the river.
Rollerblading on the Board to Board path was delightful! The paths are smooth and theres not too many hills. You also are right by the water which makes everything even nicer!!
This park is a wonderfuly hidden nook! It is a very popular place for walking, disc golfing, jogging, running.
Great Urban park, lots of different areas along the Huron River. Great biking path, docks, boat launches and frisbee golf course.
Nice track to walk/bike/run along the river.
Nice disc course with a chill spot
Short walk with cool frisbee golf course
Nice disk course. Cool little spots to hang a hammock by the river and catch some fish.
Wonderful 9 hole course, three pads at each hole so possible to play 27
A restful peaceful plsce
Bandemer Park is a gorgeous running location. On any weekend morning, you can frolic along the path, passing people walking dogs and powerwalkers. The river provides a serene landscape and distracts from the pain of being on a marathon-training length route.I cant wait to enjoy the park more once the frost thaws and the leaves develop some beautiful foliage to shade the path.
Beautiful park
Beautiful
Great 9 hole disc golf course with 3 tees per hole. Well manicured with mulched fairways.
