A perfect 2plus mile walk in lovely woods near my home. The spring wildflowers were spectacular. Now the trees and other htee vegetation are lush and cool. Keep your eyes open for raccoons, toads, garter snakes, squirrels and chipmunks. Im sure there are deer here, too, but I have yet to see any.
This is a nice short hiking trail. Easy to stop in and walk a mile or two. The trees are amazing and it is home to a basswood preserve so keep your eyes open for those beauties. There is enough change in grade to provide some challenge, but not so much as to prohibit walking with kids, strollers, pets or seniors.
All natural, nice hiking trails, water and lots of wild life..birds, butterflies, etc...
Beautiful little spot right outside of the city. Short trails but very nice!
Great trail with options for longer and shorter hikes. Only downside is in the middle of summer, there are tons of mosquitos. Perfect trail in the spring.
Beautiful woods, well marked dirt hiking paths
Small but very Scenic Metro Park! Good for exercise & walking dogs.
Nice maintained trails. Just too close to houses in some spots.
Great trails to enjoy nature
Short but quality love this walk =)
Wide streets. Good landscape
Ok
Beautiful colors right now, mid October
Woodland trail. Peaceful, conveniently located just west of Ann Arbor. Nice flowers near entrance in fall. Part of Washtenaw County Park system.
Very peaceful, very small. I enjoyed.
Amazing experience.
Great place for understory flowers in season. A pretty, young woods with nice trails.
Great place for walking and have fun
Nice place to enjoy the wooded trails, and take in the sights of the woods.
This is a fun little nature area with nice trails for walking or running. It’s very shady which is nice when it’s hot in the summer.
Large beautiful park, all wooded. Varried terrain. Great place to walk your dog.
Nice trail. Small area but enough for few hours walk with kids.
Great natural area with several looping trails.
90+ acres of beautiful, wooded land. There are several trails, almost entirely wooded, with the exception of some small areas near the entrance and one area near the middle. Insects can be a minor annoyance, but not as bad as some of the other preserves around the area. Altogether, one of my favorites of the Washtenaw County NAPP preserves.
Just some nice, kind of wide open, trails.
All I seen where snakes and snqualls, also folded my ankle a few times from how horrible the trails were. Plus there is a no dogs allowed sign before you enter the trail, and you are more likely to see houses than anything.
My favorite place. So beautiful and peaceful.
Cool little place
Awesome !
Descent trails for running.
Gorgeous walking trails
