The quaint old bridge offers a view of the rapids which are beautiful year-round. But you cant linger long because the bridge is only one lane, and theres usually someone waiting to cross. The park is small: with a corralled area for young children to play in with some large areas to climb and play; theres one restroom with flush toilets; a view shaded pavilions and some grills; and one baseball diamond. Its a great place to take a break when bicycling on Huron River Drive.
Its quiet and beautiful. Its not crowded at all. The river runs almost all the way around it, this is a good place for a walk or a think
Open spaces near to town with playsets, shady picnic spaces and BBQ built-in grills along the Huron River. Nearly ideal for families, couples, small groups of friends to enjoy sunny days at secure social/physical distance. Enjoy one of local gems with the kids today.
Rented kayaks over at Skips for Fathers Day and the new owners and staff were ahead of the game with online reservations.Went on the 8 mile trip and it took us about 3.5 hours. The whole family loved it.We really enjoyed being able to look below and see all sorts of fish both big and small, turtles, and rock formations. Will definitely be back when the sunburn goes away — be sure to pack sunscreen
Mellow river they had safety equipment for everyone Im disabled and was just fine doing the three hour tubing trip was so suprised !
It is a lovely park. The Huron River is very accessible making it enjoyable for water activity. The park have great spots to explores and plays (Also a Geocache!).The toilet are extremely clean (Really surprising).Parking space are numereous.Good place for picnic or barbecue with friends. The covered space is very confortable (Actually look up at that wood works on the roof!)5 stars.
We like to drop in by Riverside celler and get out at Delhi park - it has 2 possible places but the second is after the rapids by skips. (In tubes, we decided to go right where the river splits and it was very exciting) deli park is beautiful, 10$ day pass or $40 for year but save your day passes bc they count towards a year pass. Michigan has the most beautiful summers~
The Delhi bridge was closed for many years. Through some great cooperative efforts of the washtenaw county historic preservation planner and the county road commission the bridge was restored and improved to handle modern traffic loads. This is important because the entry to the metro park is less than a block away. This is a beautiful open space park with some play structures, benches, trails, and plenty of trees. The whole thing is neatly tucked into a bow of the Huron River which adds to the natural beauty. Perfect for pickniks and a ready destination that is easily accessible in all senses of the word. The open bridge, proximity to kayak rental, and almost completed expansion of the border to border trail help to connect this park to others in the metro park chain.
Beautiful area, good fishing. Well maintained.
Beautiful park. Lots of goose poop and the tables were old with mildew. Great location though.
The metro parks around Ann Arbor are beautiful and great places to spend time.
Beautiful Boardwalk.Great trails.Wonderfully maintained.
Beautiful quiet park but the kids enjoy hiking and they dont have great trails!!! Well maintained and beautiful!
What a lovely park. The playground equipment is closed and the Huron river is still high. Still worth going!
Big park with a lot of grill and tables for picnic and fishing ...the only thing is about the price for entry is $10 daily for car but is beatiful.
A wonderful place! A delightful, and almost magical experience! The neighbors across the road are some of the most inviting, and hospitipal people I have ever encountered! Stop by and ask for a cold beer, theyll pour you one of their many craft brews for your personal enjoyment!
Very beautiful spot. Needs some renovation.
Great quiet park along the river. Excellent for a picnic or tubing down the river.
Beautiful little park thats perfect for a picnic or putting in some tubes/canoes/kayaks for a float down the Huron River. Excellent access to some small rapids for those looking for a thrill on the river.
A lovely spot for a fall picnic
Beautiful park. Peaceful
Nice place, But if the power goes out!! Then the rest rooms dont work !!!!!! You would Think that with the money they charge they could but a small generator in there ?????
Beautiful park but I hate the fact that I have to pay to use it. Use should be open to ALL county residents.
Quite n Family friendly.
Best place for friends and family
It’s a small Metropark but it is close to Ann Arbor. It has a river, play area, and a good place for barbecue.
Easy kayak access. Very nice.
Great park!
One of the less crowded parks with lots of barbecue pits. Theres public restrooms and sheltered areas to protect against sun or rain. However the soil is very muddy and our shoes got soaked when we unknowingly stepped on some marshes.
Always well kept!
Fun tubing ♡
Buckle your seatbelts and let your church know that youre going to leave early because Delhi Metropark is getting explored this Week END! Safe, secure, and simple, it is a great place to bring your peeps, the family or go it alone. Walk it, run it, jog it or sit on a log in it, this park has the things you want and need. The public bathrooms are clean and open. If you prefer the river water, you can float on it or boat on it. This park is a must try.
Some unsightly construction going on.
Lovely setting along the Huron River
At fall time, this is a great place to be where trees, falling leafs, scenic river view all come together
Nothing much to do here.
There wasnt anyone at the gate to collect the fare so that was cool. The goose poo was quite substantial. We didnt stay long enough to comment on much else.
The water from all the reason was extremely high and fast. Cant wait to go back when levels are s little lower and slower.
Good place for hang around and get together
This little park is outstanding, nice, quite and close . Beautifull serene surroundings and a perfect place to re-energize . The huron river is phoenomenal
Beautiful park on the river with a cool canoe livery. Nice place for bicyclists to rehydrate.
Great place to kayak
Always peaceful and beautiful wildlife
Good shelter house. Great ambiance for a group picnic.
We end most of our Huron river tubing trips here with a bbq and it is always well kept
This is where the fun floating down the river begins. Fun floating times ahead!!!
It was magical and beautiful beyond belief. The river was clear and shallow. We saw minnows swimming through the water. Surrounded by trees on the banks of the river we took off our shoes and waded into the water not sure if you are allowed to do it but it wasnt posted not to. No swimming and I understand why. Its so beautiful you wouldnt want to destroy it with swimmers and litter. My daughter is 7 and she loved it. Kayaking is allowed and looks amazing. You can rent them just walking distance from the park. It was an impromptu visit but I will be making a special trip to see it again.
Great for fishing (wading), nice picnic areas, just too many people on the weekends.
Pretty park. Classic Michigan vibes.. cold, gloomy, with the water rushing through the river. Nice place during the summer I bet!
I love this park. Always clean and always beautiful.
Great place to sit and watch the river. My family has been coming here for about 90 years. Used to play at the head of the small rapids area. A lot of fond memories.
Very natural, quiet river, but very long during weekends. Equipment (canoes life jackets, sitting cushions) all in great condition. Very polite service!
Okay for a day visit
Had company event here. nice place. easy to reserve
It was great!
Its a lovely park to hang out in
Beautiful and peaceful
Great place for a trip down the river.
Nice place to Walk and bird watching
Great place to visit.
Lots of fun river tubing here
Nice place to take a walk and take your pets for a walk by the river.. Picnics and play grounds for kids
One of the best public parks in Ann Arbor, quiet, safe and has playground for the kids to play as well. Better get the annual pass if you plan of going there often, with a couple trips it will pay off the membership fee.
This park is awesome never really packed but does get busy on weekends. Three set of swings, play structure small enough for little ones.
Small park but nice view of the water
Close to town. Large park with lots of river frontage.
Beautiful park to come to with family or alone. A very calm and peaceful feel.
Love this place. I went here as a kid growing up and now Im taking my granddaughters.
This is a really nice part of the river and a great park for kids with a really nice play structure. There’s also a canoe livery across the street.
Very Scenic!
Very clean park right on the river. great place to fish.
Nice place to go for a walk along the river with the dogs
Nice park, but needs some work. Not much has changed there in the past 40 years.
Loved it
Lovely
Too many kayakers and not enough fish.
Good bbq
Wonderful little park by the river. Kids playground, pavilion, baseball diamonds, picnic tables, benches. Its well maintained, and definitely a good place to go.
The rapidswere a little scary, but we made it!
Nice park!
Nice park. Not to busy. Good place to put your kayak in.
Very beautiful & peaceful ambience all around the park,,, well maintained clean surroundings,,, worth visiting again & again.
Great park. No real trail system to walk on but river access is great and ball fields are great as well.
Great spot for shooting the rapids in a canoe or kayak! Great spot for photos! The bridge is a spectacular shot and spot!
It needs more things for kids to do it was okay the water was macchio little bit but I will come here next time and try things out next time Delhi Park.
